Another Proving Ground, another tag match.
Last show, you got a pretty big win for yourself, Lance. Not that you earned it. If anything, you stole it from Ozymandias who did all the work to bring your team to victory. Though, of course, you like to be a revisionist and paint the picture as if you did all that by yourself. Because, as we all know, you're not that talented. You've pinned me once, then ran away screaming up to the top of the world as if that was your greatest achievement. You quite literally were handed the title that will become mine at Night of Honor. And you attacked someone who wasn't even medically cleared and then pretend that you worked for that. As if you weren't handed a Mickey Mouse championship. And you know, the even funnier part? You haven't even won a singles match since then. Mark Hunter beat you, and that's really say something. You haven't defended the title you act so proud of once because management wants to protect you from looking weak, because even they know that as soon as it's put on the line- it will leave your hands.
And I think you're starting to realize that. Blindsiding me after the match is just another cowardly action of yours that's nothing new. You know that as soon as you get in the ring with me again- you won:t be able to pull off a miracle twice. So you're doing everything that you can, hiding behind tag partners and filler matches so you can hold onto that title just a little longer. The worst thing you could have done, however, is attack Emmanuelle as well.
You know, the one who's a champion that's actually defended her title. The one who doesn't run from challenges- and the one, who just like me, can be one mean bitch. We've both been itching to get our hands on you since the last show- and I promise you that you're going to regret it.
The only challenge in the way- the only one capable of saving your ass this time, is Tara Fenix. Someone I'm actually rather fond of. Someone that I've known for a long time, actually. A friend who's acted as a mentor and teacher for me in my earlier years, and someone that I deeply respect-
However.
That respect goes out the window when we're in the ring. There isn't going to be any smiles, any hugs, any handshakes once that bell rings. Just us fighting. Tara, you may think that you have an advantage over me- given the history we share- but we both know that you've been paying attention to my career, more importantly, that I'm far from the rookie that you once knew. I have new tricks. Just like you I've constantly grown and evolved to where I am now. So don't for a second think that I'll go even a little easy on you when we go to fight.
I know you're going for Emmanuelle's title- and she isn't going to be an easy target. As much as I respect you, she and I have been tagging for a while now- We know each other well, from our fights in Wrestleworld to our mutual understanding now. I know that you would love to kick Lance's ass at any given chance. You two don't have any chemistry as a team whatsoever, just two people looking out for each other who happen to be put together- and that's why we're the ones who are going to prevail.
As for you, Lance.
I'm tired of waiting.
I'm tired of these fights acting as filler.
I'm tired of waiting for Night of Honor.
Before the end of the night, I promise you, bitch.
I'm going to make you regret ever thinking you could get away with cheap shotting me.
