1. WHAT IS PROJECT: HONOR?
- Project: Honor was created to give an alternative to other feds currently out in the game. We are NOT here to compete or steal members as we believe the community relies on one another for the success of the game. We understand members from different feds will pass through. We do NOT accept trash talking on current or former feds as this is bad karma and hurts the games image.
- Project: Honor exists in the same world that our affiliates share. We encourage our members to reach out and be friendly with members of other feds as well.
- Project: Honor welcomes all types of characters. If you want to be a competitor or just as a random character living in our world. Please join our forums and be a friend or affiliate.
2. GENERAL RESPECT/HATE SPEECH
- We would like all of our members to show a general respect for each other. This will include no bullying or disrespect towards other members. Anyone caught breaking these rules will be punished.
- Any member caught using hate speech (racism, sexism, homophobia, abuse, etc.) will be dealt with accordingly. This includes the mention of it in your Roleplays. We understand some things pertain to the story of your character, but bring it to the Board's attention first to make sure it's okay before posting.
3. JOINING
- There will be a strict policy in regards to one pic base and one theme song per person. If there is a pic base taken already, you may not choose it. The same thing with theme songs, if it's taken you can't use it. You may refer to the Unavailable Pic Base/Theme Songs List by clicking HERE!
- Please be sure to follow the Contract Template thoroughly and have your Contract completed in order to be signed and booked on a show.
- We understand that you might want to go with a different look at some point. Please give the staff prior heads up when changed pic bases to allow for changes to graphics.
- Make sure your name on the website is the same as your ring name. It'll save writers from getting confused and looking past your promos.
4. ACTIVITY & INACTIVITY
- If you no show a match, you will be taken off bookings. If you do not let this account or someone of Staff know that you need time off, you will be released.
- If you do not promo for matches you are scheduled for, but you are on the site someway or another without any reasoning, you will no longer be booked until further notice.
- All shows will be posted on time or as close to on time as possible. Variables in life do occur, just take that into account. Proving Ground will be every other Friday and will be posted late in the evening.
- Just show up, Roleplay, communicate and have fun!
5. ROLEPLAYS
- Project: Honor's show; Proving Ground, is a bi-weekly show. It will take place every other Friday.
- There will be a 1 RP Limit set for ALL matches (Proving Ground, PPV's, etc.) We also do not have a Word Count limit except for the Warrior Rising and Ascension Championships, so enjoy exploring your creativity! (But please be mindful that due to this 1 RP limit, replying to your Opponents roleplay is not allowed).
- Ascension and Warrior Rising Championship has a 1 RP | 2k Word Limit for every match, whether it's a title match or not. It will be clarified on the match card.
- You are expected to RP for every match. If you do not RP, well, you just won't go far. If you will not be able to RP, let a staff member know. Preferably before the card is posted. That way you will not be booked for that show.
- RP Deadlines will always be at 11:59 PM EST two days before the show, unless otherwise stated. For example, if the show is on the 30th, the deadline will be the 28th at 11:59 PM EST.
- ROLEPLAYS HAVE AN EDITING WINDOW AFTER YOU POST! If you post your RP and need to edit something, you have exactly 15 minutes from the second you posted it to make the changes. Any edits after the 15 minutes will result in an automatic loss. NO ROLEPLAYS CAN BE EDITED AFTER THE DEADLINE HAS PASSED, PERIOD!
6. JUDGING ROLEPLAYS
- Roleplays will be judged using strictly enforced guidelines that will look at the content and quality above all else.
- QUALITY > QUANTITY. ALWAYS. A longer RP than your opponent will not guarantee a victory.
- Roleplays will be judged by the following categories: Character, Shoot, Character Development, Creativity and Entertainment, Accuracy and Match Relevance, & Grammar.
CHARACTER (10 POINTS)
How well you portray your character/alignment.
SHOOT (5 POINTS)
How strong your character’s case is for why they’ll win / why their opponents will lose / why anyone should care.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT (5 POINTS)
How well you’re showcasing your character's growth and building a well rounded character. This is about depth.
CREATIVITY AND ENTERTAINMENT (10 POINTS)
How enjoyable a promo was to read and how you’ve avoided doing a promo that’s done to death to the point of cliche (or how you did that and pulled it off anyways).
ACCURACY AND MATCH RELEVANCE (10 POINTS)
We are all spin doctors here, but are the things you are saying actually true? If not, how well does the case you're making for yourself sell your gimmick? Does this RP apply to this match, or could it be used against any opponent?
GRAMMAR (5 POINTS)
We’re not all grammatical geniuses and some characters talk differently than others, but how well you are able to keep up with spellings of names and other information. If you have a good bit of mistakes here, it’s most likely you’ll start to lose some points here.
- Add up all the points to get your total out of 45 possible points. That's your score.
7. DEALING WITH A LOSS
- We understand that nobody likes to lose. Please understand that it is impossible for everyone to win and be happy. Sometimes you will lose. Complaining about that loss will not benefit you, taking it on the chin and using it to help you improve will help.
