The following is shot in full in black and white.
Interior: Ripped up wallpaper, an empty picture frame hanging from the wall. A black worn leather couch with a dark wooden coffee table in front of it in the centre of the room, on the table an ashtray, a decorative glass bottle filled with an unknown liquid with two glasses next to it.
Enter: Jay Crowley, Dressed in a full black suit (Black Jacket, Shirt, Tie and Pants with black leather suits) while also wearing his trademark ring entrance mask.
He walks over to the couch, taking a seat as he crosses his legs before clasping his hands over his knee. He looks straight ahead, directly into Camera as the shot pans to another camera in a slightly different viewpoint. He moves his hands off his knee placing his foot on the ground to remove his mask, staring directly into camera as his long hair drapes down onto his suit, it not being tied up and rather just flowing down, messy and unkempt. He places his mask on the table in front of him before going back to looking point blank into the camera.
Throughout this portion the camera swaps shots between the high angle and the straight on camera periodically.
“Pain, suffering, rage, destruction, these are all things I am quite familiar with and if you are not… you will soon be. These four things are the essence of my very being. They embody my spirit and my life, they demonstrate who I am and the life I've lived. They make me who I am. They are the things I wish to share with my opponents. I come to this proving ground, a place built to help those establish themselves and make a legacy to not create one of my own but rather to destroy others’. I am not here because I am looking to endear myself to the fanbase, nor am I here for the simple goal of winning championships. I am here as a force designed to take that of which you all covet whether that be championships, a mask…”
Crowley signals to his mask as he says this
“Or something else, I will take it from you. I do not care about your names, your history or your drive to succeed. I am here to benefit one man and that is myself. That does leave the question though what benefits do I gain from being here?”
Crowley leans forward and picks up the glass bottle, he holds the glass next to it in place as he pours himself a drink, he lifts the glass up, swirling it before taking a drink then holding the glass in his hand as he sits back.
“I enjoy inflicting pain on others. Some call me a sadist, I simply view myself as the punishment you all serve for the lives of sin you live. Throughout my history as a competitor in this sport, many of my opponents have begun to fear my name or refuse to face me more than once. I do not understand that, I do not see myself as something evil or malice nor do I see myself as a man of good. I am simply the one who distills what I feel. The pain in my heart and soul, the constant state of agony in my mind. I care little for the safety or wellness of my opponents rather I simply look to allow them to feel the consequences for their actions. You make mistakes in your life, you try to repent but the only true atonement you can gain is when you fall to my feet opposite me in the ring.”
Crowley places his glass down back onto the table he sits back onto the couch, a blank expression on his face
“To all the people on the Proving Ground Roster, I am your atonement. I will take what has corrupted you and take it as my own. I will be the reckoning you never knew you needed and I will not stop until I have taken all that you hold dear. With not much certainty on the Horizon, I await the announcement of my next move but as for this feeble dark match, I will give you all a brief demonstration of my abilities. For those of you who do not know who I am, you will soon but for the sake of simplicity allow me to make a brief introduction.”
Crowley leans forward clasping with his hands in a position that has his fingers aligned in a pyramid like shape
“My name is Jay Crowley, I am the man with the DAMNED HEART and I am Proving Ground’s reckoning.”
Crowley sits back on the couch as the camera fades to black. The first words spoken by one of the newer signings to the Proving Ground Roster. His on screen in ring debut is yet to be confirmed but with a powerful message sent to the roster.
