Ace Sky:
I am Ace Sky, the guru of the galaxy. International and interdimensional icon of cruiserweight wrestling, I have been in this business professionally since I was 15 years old, and I turned 38 in March. I became a wrestling fan at four and I knew I wanted to become an astronaut and a pro wrestler, one worked out well. I knew what I had to do instinctually to achieve it. I took up many sports:
Soccer
Gymnastics
Taekwondo martial arts
Amateur wrestling
When I was six my parents were psyched to learn I was “ gifted”. High IQ, the whole deal. My parents are physicists and teachers.
Our parents bought us a trampoline, my brothers and I started backyard wrestling and joined local leagues as well as starting our own, we built a real ring the following summer. I was the only one who wanted to ss become trained for real. When I was 13, I used my Bar Mitzvah money to pay for training at the local independent promotion Fight Zone. On my 15th birthday March 16th I went before the strict athletic commission to get licensed as a wrestler, I was 3 years underage but I passed. I made my pro debut on March 29th 1998. In 2004 I went to Japan that’s where I got my black belt in pro wrestling to put it best.
Texas is a place of great civic pride. Everything is bigger in Texas isn’t only a stereotype breast implants were invented in Texas. I was born in 1983, grew up in the 80’s and 90’s as not only small but an “ egghead”. I was a” gifted child” and small so they deck was stacked against me, I had these two lives pretty much because my parents although not psycho-stage parent type they are scientists themselves.
I have always been very energized physically. My father once put it that I am half energizer bunny half Isaac Newton.
Pro Wrestling and Football in Texas are held closely as religions , being involved in the latter worked out since I would never be able to be a football player in school, viewed as to small for it being a huge wrestling fan I went into that. I started in soccer and gymnastics, which were viewed in a close minded early 90’s era but I also began doing martial arts and amateur wrestling as well as backyard wrestling that helped shut everyone up. It was all part of this plan , I knew the style of wrestler I would be, I knew I needed to be fast, agile and flexible.
People don’t like being kicked by someone who’s both a soccer player and trained in Taekwondo.
You say it’s too dangerous for me at 5’4 in high school to be on the football team but I’m freshman wrestler of the year and being on locally successful backyard wrestling shows taking slams and several near concussive blows from untrained kids.
I got a bit of an ego when I started actually training , I lived up to a fair amount because I just needed the extra sprinkling of technique while able to already do a move at 70 percent. When I debuted I was now taking on adults twice my size and age. People often ask why did I go through all of that, why did I make it tougher by moving to Japan and working in a militant dojo setting as a young boy when I was clearly already so capable and trained? It was an obsession, I was never satisfied. I never have been.
That’s why I’m here now , I am never just dependent, I am transcendent .
I’m not just a cog in the machine, I’m the pilot, this is your captain speaking
We’re cleared for take off, I will take you down.
