9/26/2020 (PG #5) ELITE 5
1. MYOJIN
Last Match: Defeated Colton Saint
Record: 5-1
Movement: 2 ^
To become King of the Mountain, you have to first overthrow the king. And that is exactly what MYOJIN did this week. In what could definitely have been the Main Event of the night if it wasn’t for the special Watson/Steele match, MYOJIN showed the Project: Honor crowd that he is no one to look past. Taking on an angered Colton Saint, MYOJIN took everything Mr. Saint could throw at him...and kept getting back up. And even when the X-Factor Champion kept chugging along, MYOJIN kept right along beside him. Although he won by disqualification, a win...is a win...is a win.
2. Dickie Watson
Last Match: Defeated Jacob Steele (Grand Championship Fans Bring The Weapons Match)
Record: 4-1 (Grand Champion)
Movement: 2 ^
* In a herculean effort, Dickie Watson proved why he is the Grand Champion. With a show off to prepare, Dickie and Jacob Steele put on a display that would make the Hardcore Gods happy. And in being the first Champion to put their title on the line, Dickie proved to be a true fighting Champ who definitely is NOT afraid of a fight.
3. Colton Saint
Last Match: Lost to MYOJIN
Record: 4-2 (X-Factor Champion)
Movement: 2 v
He may have lost due to disqualification, but Colton is still one of the top dogs in Project: Honor. He has faced some of the greatest competition here, with his opponents sporting a 19-6 record when not facing him. But yet he still is 4-2 AND the X-Division Champion. It only leaves everyone to ask...when is the X-Factor Championship not enough?
4. Zane
Last Match: Defeated Daniel Avers
Record: 3-1 (Warrior Rising Champion)
Movement: 2 v
Zane continued her own little hot streak, making easy work of Daniel Avers. So now that that part is over...looking head, Zane has a mountain to climb to hold onto her Warrior Rising Championship. She has overcome great odds before and we expect she has it in her to do it again.
5. Jacob Steele
Last Match: Lost to Dickie Watson
Record: 0-1
Movement: N/A
Yeah, it’s a little unprecedented to have someone without a win in the Elite 5. But how can you say Jacob didn’t earn this? He took Dickie to the wire and almost managed to put the Grand Championship around his own waist. Does Jacob have it in him to earn his way to another Championship AND to overcome that bump to put it over his own shoulder? Only he has the answers.
