UNAIRED INTRO
MARCH 18TH, 2015
A year on from the day Lance woke up from his surgery, he was at least on his long road to recovery. It was full of pain, misery but most of all hard work. He’d come such a long way since then but he still had a long road ahead of him on his journey. It was one that over the year he’d begun to learn that the old him was still there but to fully recover he had to become a better person. He had to learn to replace his ego with pride and for someone like Lance Williams that wasn’t easy. He’d always been someone who wouldn’t let you forget he had money and that he was a better person than you. Now he’d come to terms that his ego was his downfall and no matter how much he tried to blame others, it was his fault for not staying in control and letting it control him.
Other than his friend Mark Hunter, Lance had pushed everyone else away. It wasn’t like he didn’t try the same with Mark, Mark just didn’t listen. Lance owed Mark a lot and deep down he realised that. Yet, nowadays all Lance wanted to do was be alone, away from the world and spent most of his time hidden away in the gym. Other than his investments, Lance had no other dealings with people. When he was hiding in the gym, it would be in his home gym. He wouldn’t have been able to deal with being around others. He would’ve just snapped, panicked and always been on his guard. Ever since the attack that ended his wrestling career, Lance had been paranoid that people were out to get him. It got to the point where the only way he could go outside was with music playing through his headphones.
This wasn’t a healthy way to live and Lance knew this but no matter what he tried he just couldn’t get over it. Even though Lance knew it wasn’t healthy he wouldn’t seek help, he just wanted to be alone. He wanted to suffer, and the only thing stopping him from wanting to die was the promise he made his mom before she died. That no matter what life threw at him, he’d fight to overcome it no matter the struggles on the way because he was Lance Williams and he was capable of anything and everything. A year ago he thought he’d never walk again and was told he wouldn’t. However a year on, Lance was not only proving them wrong but also spending six days a week in the gym.
The gym had become his medication. No matter how much pain he was in he’d keep going. He was out to condition himself to take whatever life and people threw at him. Lance was given pain meds to help him but they were thrown in the trash as soon as he got them. He refused to rely on drugs to help him whether prescribed or not. When he looked in the mirror daily at the gym, he could see how big he was starting to get but it just wasn’t enough. He still hated what he saw, he still didn’t see someone who was strong enough and wasn’t going to stop until he did. He’d heard about how steroids could help him but rather than him see it as help, he saw it more of a hindrance. He was against shit like that and knew by the time he’d got to the size he’d feel happy at, he’d be a target of uneducated and cliché insults from people.
These were probably the same cliché insults he’d used in the past. The ones that saw people roll their eyes whether on the receiving end or witnessing it. That was the problem with people nowadays. If they saw a big man with muscles they’d instantly claim steroids not for one second thinking about the hard work he’d put in. It was always the same when people saw a fat person, they’d always belittle them and make them feel worse. That fat person is that way because they have no confidence and they’re hurting but what do you do?
Well instead of helping them, you ridicule them. Same goes for that young teen who was too skinny and suffering with an eating disorder. People choose to attack rather than help them. Telling them they look like crackheads, they have a disease and that they look disgusting. They’re already hating the way they look, yet people don’t think about that. This was something that Lance Williams had thought about a lot. It was the reason he promised to reach out and help those he could anyway. Albeit the only way he could do that right now was with funding charities worldwide who help people like that. He’d promised himself that one day he’d be strong enough to stand in front of thousands of people and tell his story.
Lance Williams wanted to be an inspiration to those that needed it. He wanted to show people that they were never alone. That no matter what cliché insults got thrown their way, they were always better than those throwing the cliché insults at them. It had been absolute hell and he was only a year in on his journey. It’s a journey that he wouldn’t wish anyone to have to go through. To be on top of the world and have everything only for it to be taken away from you in just a click of someone's fingers. Lance was going to make a difference in people’s lives for the better.

“So this is the largest Portuguese-speaking city in the world?”
Lance had just stepped off his private jet, it hadn’t long landed on a private airfield in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
“Well Sao Paulo. You can now say you’ve had the strongest wrestler in the world now too. Hm, that sounded a bit egotistical I know and I apologise for it coming across that way. My mom God rest her soul always told me to tell the truth no matter what. So does anyone here have a problem with that?”
The limousine driver who was standing there holding the door is the only one who says something to Lance.
“Não há problema, senhor. Sou Miguel e serei seu motorista no seu hotel.” (There is no problem, sir. I’m Miguel and I’ll be your driver at your hotel.)
With a raised eyebrow, Lance looks at the limousine driver.
“So all I got from that was Miguel and the hotel part.”
“O idiota vem aqui e nem tenta aprender a língua aqui.” (The idiot comes here and doesn't even try to learn the language here.)
“Did you just call me an idiot?”
The limousine driver just shakes his head and just signals for Lance to get in the back of the limousine. Lance holds his fist out for a fist bump only for the limousine driver to grab round it and shake it. Lance just lets out a loud sigh before getting into the limousine taking his suitcase with him. The limousine driver then walks around to the drivers side and gets into the limo himself. As the driver does, Lance hands him a CD to put on. The driver takes it and puts it on pulling away from Lance’s private jet.
“Bring it on!
Come on!
Bulldozer crushes!”
The limo driver just rolls his eyes and slides the privacy glass up so he doesn’t have to hear Lance sing. Lance notices this but just shrugs his shoulders and continues to sing.
“Into the battles, making cages rattle
There's a pain that's inside us and we're letting it out
Charge right in
We dare to fail, no one is giving in
Always we live to win
A hunger turns and burns inside of all of us
And it will not be denied”
Noticing the champagne on ice already open, Lance grabs it and thinks fuck it to a glass as he takes a swig from it.
“Walking a path untraveled to reach higher levels
Challenging, always going against the grain
Blood for blood
That is the rule and we will make the rules
Never be fortune's fool
There's right and wrong in almost everything we do
For us we do what is right”
Lance takes another swig from the champagne bottle.
“Bulldozer feeds upon the weaker as they fall
Bulldozer crushes all”
Lance was living his best life stretched out on the limo, champagne in hand and of course singing the song he comes out to the ring to.
“Somebody told me I should do what they told me
But there's a hole in that plan and I'm tearing it down
Trust our guts
Follow our hearts, no one can break these nuts
These lips ain't kissing butts
The path of most resistance tests all of our strength
This strength will not be denied”
“Bulldozer feeds upon the weaker as they fall
Bulldozer crushes all
Bulldozer feeds upon the weaker as they fall
Bulldozer crushes all”
Lance was so in the zone right now he hadn’t even realised the limo had come to a stop as he continued to swig on the bottle before carrying on singing.
“Walking on paths untraveled
Challenging one and all
Deeper into the battles
Alone and standing tall
The more evolving changes
The more we stay the same
Full steam against the odds, go
Headfirst against the grain”
“Headfirst against the grain”
Still not noticing, Lance continues to swig on the champagne. That’s when he shakes it to realise he has done the whole bottle. He just shrugs it off and puts the empty bottle back on ice.
“Full steam we go against the odds
Headfirst we go against the grain
Full steam we go against the odds
Headfirst we go against the grain
Full steam we go against the odds
Headfirst we go against the grain
Bulldozer goes against the odds
Bulldozer goes against the grain
Against the odds, against the grain
We go against the odds, against the grain
This is the bulldozer
This is the bulldozer”
Having been in the zone so much, Lance hadn’t realised that the privacy glass had slid down when they stopped. The song comes to an end as the limo driver takes the CD out and puts it back in the case before handing it to a pumped up Lance Williams.
“Damn! At the hotel already?”
Lance asked the limo driver who nodded his head before getting out of the limo. The driver walks around to the door and opens it for Lance Williams. Lance goes to hold his fist out for another fist bump but changes his mind after remembering the last time. Instead he gently punches the driver on the arm. Only it’s not as gentle as he thought as the driver ends up on his ass looking up angrily at Lance.
“Come on man! Not even that egomaniac Cadillac Jackson is this weak.”
Lance starts laughing as he grabs his suitcase from the limo. Once he had it, Lance just shakes his head before heading off into the luxurious hotel he was staying in.
“Wow! What an asshole!”
The limo driver notices Lance look back at him, the driver takes a big gulp as Lance just laughs again at him. The driver starts mumbling in Porteguese as he decides to make a quick exit, jumping into the limo and driving off as quick as he could.

“As I sit here, in this luxurious hotel suite here in Sao Paulo, Brazil I can’t help but realise that Indy Darling has punished this country by letting Cadillac Jackson come here to wrestle. Cadillac annoys me more than that case of crabs still annoys Lil Petey after sleeping with Yung Sauce’s mom. Cadillac will say how this match is all about him, that the X-Factor Tournament is all about him, and blah, blah, blah. Well newsflash Caddy, this match is going to be an example of how your EGO is blinding you.”
“It was the same at Public Execution, your EGO blinding you and convincing you that you’re better than you actually are. If it wasn’t for Emmanuelle and me teaming with you, you wouldn’t have won at Public Execution. Well to be technically correct, Emmanuelle and you wouldn’t have won without me. I went out there and did what I do best and that’s Bulldoze those that step in my way. I used to think you were an okay guy until you decided to allow your EGO to let you act the way you did. I got the win for the team, not you. I was the one who got the pin, not you. I’m also the guy who is going to win in our match, not you.”
The camera was all set up and recording with Lance sitting in front of them. The hotel suite of his was nothing short of spectacular. It was a sight to behold and something others could only dream of being able to afford like he could.
“You and I could’ve been friends but your EGO ruined that Caddy. There is a wise saying, piss off “Bulldozer” Lance Williams, and you get destroyed. Do you know where that wise saying comes from?”
Pausing, Lance looks into the camera and raises an eyebrow as if he was waiting for a reply.
“It clearly isn’t something you’d say. After all, that EGO of yours wouldn’t allow it to be anything other than about you. It’s fine though, I’ll happily let you know where that wise saying comes from, ME!”
Lance just smiles before continuing on.
“That’s right. I’m full of wisdom, whereas you’re full of shit. I’ve tried to hold back previously on people but I just can’t whenever I see you open your mouth, Tweet or even just breath. Your pure existence annoys the fuck out of me Caddy. It’s fine though, I’m going to take care of that when we meet in the Ginasio do Ibirapuera Arena. I’m going to destroy you in that ring. I’m far more deserving of that X-Factor Championship than you’ll ever be and I’m not about to allow you to disgrace it by getting past me. Indy Darling brought respect to the X-Factor Championship and I’m not about to let you bring disrespect to it. You can bring your A-Game or even The A-Team and I’ll still Bulldoze my way through you. I deserve that X-Factor Championship and I’m going to do whatever it takes to get it.”
“I don’t care about you Caddy, I don’t care if you just disappear from existence when I destroy you in that ring. I don’t even care if you believe you’re stronger than me because no matter how much you believe it won’t come true. This isn’t a damn fairytale and it’s not going to be a fairytale ending for you either. Things could’ve been different Caddy but it’s too late for that now. That EGO of yours made it’s bed and now you have to lay in it, you never know, by the time I’m done you might be laying in your bed permanently. Hm. Maybe that’s just wishful thinking on my part. Just know that I’m not your friend and that EGO of yours is not your AMIGO!!!”
Lance looks at his watch and then back to the camera.
“I’m sorry Caddy but I’ve wasted enough time on you. I have a private swimming pool all to myself out there. Along with some of the hottest Brazilian women you’ve ever seen. So I’ll see you at Proving Ground where I become The Grim Reaper of your career!”
As soon as Lance was done, the last thing we see is him telling the camera to get lost as he was done and weren’t about to let them shoot a porno.
