Scene opens with Amber Payne, The Huntress walking down south on Swanson Street in her hometown, the city of Brotherly Love Philadelphia, Pa. She looks down each street as she notices barely any cars driving. It is in winter; snow has fallen days before with piles of them on some of the streets. She is bundle up in her coat, scarf as her hands are in her coat pocket. Camera follows in front of her as she looks down the street. We stop at the corner of Swanson Street and West Ritner Street as she looks over, she sees few cars parked in a row as she sees a black brick building, in front it says “2300”. She is standing in front of the famous 2300 Arena…
Amber Payne: “This place…its holy ground for professional wrestling. This is our temple. So many big-name companies have come here, some many small local companies as well.” Amber points northwest. “If you go couple blocks that way you will find the school I trained at. Being the only girl who wanted to become a wrestler out 6 people, you have a lot on shoulders to prove. That is what I did, I prove to the boys in that class I was better than them. Most of them didn’t make it in 3 months, some quit after a year or two in the independents, and some still chase a dream to be in the big leagues. I achieve more in my times during my Indy days, wrestling here so many times. I have won few titles here. So being champion is nothing new to me. I wanted to be a wrestler because I love this sport. I wanted to be the best, to be the greatest women wrestler of all time. So being in title matches is no stranger to me. Being a champion is not second nature. While some falter as champion, some destroy the title and the legacy and some just don’t care…I do. Anytime I was a champion, I treated it like a badge of Honor. It was a sign, a testament to everyone that I can be the best. I always strive to be a better champion for that company. I take on new challenges because that is who I am…”
We watch as Amber pains opens the front door of the arena and walks in. She walks down a ramp that leads into a large room where events are held. The lights in the room are on as she looks around…
Amber Payne: “During my time training, I would have to come help other shows, one particular was an extreme wrestling fed. Blood, bodies, chairs, tables, ladders, barbwire, light tubes, and more. I watch even women step in the ring willing to spill blood and their own to win a match, it was their dedication to this industry. It was the same fire that spark the fire under me to push to be the greatest female wrestler. I want this nothing more to be that. But it is the same industry that is willing to rip you apart and tear you down. At some point, that almost took me down and buried me. But those demons, those trash couldn’t dig my grave and keep me in it. I had to channel the inner darkness to show those infidels that I am more than just a woman… I am not just a wrestler… I am greatness. I enjoy the pain, the blood of my opponents, their agony and defeat. If I am strike down, I become more powerful than anyone can imagine.”
Scene cuts out we see the picture come back to the front of 2300 Arena. We see Amber push the doors open as she walks out as she looks at the camera…
Amber Payne: “At the Crowning, I get a chance to ascend in Project: Honor be become greatness. 15-minute Hardcore Battle Royal for the Ascension Championship. This is not the first time I have stepped in a hardcore, extreme fight. I have been in ladders match and falling 10 feet to the floor… I have been thrown into tables and cages…I have spear people off twenty-foot cages to tables below…I have thrown into barbwire, cut up. I survived and gotten stronger. Pain is my weapon…Pain is always on my side…Payne is my name. Zack Tyler, I don’t know nothing about you. I won’t underestimate you and you shouldn’t either towards me. Daniel Horror, this is not the first time we have stepped in the ring together. I have seen your failures in the ring, and I know you will fail here as well. Finally, Eli Atlas…. Last show you may have got lucky with your win. But this is a title match, this is different setting and mindset. You’re not going to be lucky this time because The Huntress here smells fear in you and the rest of boys in this match. She smells the blood that will be spilled. She smells your demise… She will ascend to become champion…see you soon boys….
