The last Project Underground show was an amazing success and that was only due to two people. Obviously, the first Project Underground Champion, Joseph Blaze, and the reveal of The Savior. The Savior was none other than Pyro, which if you didn’t guess from all the hints, forgot about having an IQ because you can’t even spell it. From the very start, Joseph Blaze had made a commitment to The Savior, well Pyro. Joseph had delivered on his commitment just like Pyro had on his revealing himself.
Joseph Blaze was now walking into Sideshow as the Project Underground Champion, he didn’t care whether he was allowed to or not. With Pyro and Lurch by his side, he was going to live by his own rules. Well, not his rules but Pyro’s rules. That was the commitment he’d made. That whatever was asked of him, he’d deliver on. That no matter what, he would send a message. That was why he’d done everything he had.
Pyro, Lurch, and Joseph were back at The Compound. They were all up at the alter looking out at Pyro’s followers. Joseph stood up there with the Project Underground Championship around his waist and that goofy smile of his on his face. Lurch was standing tall, quiet. And looking as intimidating as usual. Whereas “The Savior” Pyro had a microphone in hand as he stood there looking like a damn fool in his suit covered in a flame design.
“As you all know by now, I am The Savior. For those who don’t know who I am, my name is Pyro and I love FIRE. I’ll tell you what else I love minions, I love this man right here.”
As Pyro said that, he looked over at Joseph Blaze and pointed to him as Joseph just stood there with a grin on his face.
“The Fire Cult is quite a fitting name for us all here don’t you think?”
Stopping once again, Pyro looked as if he was waiting for a response as Pyro’s followers start to nod their heads.
“I could’ve made it much simpler for everyone to guess who I was by saying we were The Fire Cult. Then again, even then they’d be too unintelligent to work it out. I want every one of you here to look at Joseph Blaze and see what following my guidance does for you. I’m the reason behind Joseph having that Project Underground Championship around his waist.”
It was clear to see now that Pyro had worked his magic on Joseph who stood there robotic-like still with that stupid ass grin on his face.
“What I need from every one of you is the sort of commitment that Joseph has given me. That even the big oaf up here, Lurch has given me too. I have to give credit to my wife too, mainly because she is the only person who scares me but also because she continues to stand by my side. She may not be here today as she had an important task to take care of but you’ll be committed to her just as much as you’re to me. If she asks you to do something, you do it. Trust me, as The Savior, I can, and I will dish out punishment when I have to. The fire burns bright in all of you but if at any time it doesn’t, I will burn you alive.”
The spine-chilling laughter of Pyro echoes throughout the barn that had been converted into The Fire Cults' place of worship.
“I might be laughing but I’m being deadly serious. You made an oath and if that oath is broken by any of you, consequences will be faced. I’ve done enough talking for now so I’m going to pass you all over to your Champion, Joseph Blaze.”
Taking the microphone from Pyro’s hand, Joseph still has a smile on his face that needs to be slapped off it.
“First of all, why aren’t any of you giving me a round of applause? Do I need to deliver a message to each and every one of you?”
Just as Joseph finished talking, the followers start to give him a round of applause as Pyro give Joseph a nod of approval.
“I was in a very bad place before Pyro saved me. He may have been under the nickname of The Savior but that’s because he is just that. Not only did he save me, but he also saved Lurch too, and all of you. Without Pyro’s guidance, none of us would be here now and Fallout wouldn’t have been as much of a success as it was. Without Pyro around, Fallout just ended up falling apart. It needed saving, only Pyro wasn’t there to save it because of what happened to him. That doesn’t matter now, what matters is that Pyro isn’t going to allow the same fate to happen to Sideshow. Not only that, Pyro isn’t going to allow all of you to fall apart and fail. Failure isn’t an option. I learned that thanks to Pyro and each and every one of you will learn that too whether that’s the easy or hard way.”
“Tonight we all celebrate the unveiling of our master, Pyro. Not only that, we celebrate The Savior’s gift, ME!!! The Project Underground Champion. I’m going to wear this belt with pride, I’m going to make sure that the message is spread too. Just because I’m Champion it doesn’t mean my job is done.”
Amazing Grace starts to play as Joseph has a genuine smile as it does. There is nothing creepy about the smile either. It didn’t matter how many times he heard it, it still felt him with good memories of his wife God bless her soul.
