Nick Knight is sitting alone in an out of the way corner of the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. He has his earbuds in listening to Chris LeDoux on eleven. Cadillac Ranch was just starting to play when his phone starts playing Sex Metal Barbie.
"Hey baby," he answers.
"How was your flight," Penny asks.
"It wasn't bad. I'm glad I decided to go ahead and upgrade to first class. I actually had enough room to get comfortable and catch a nap."
"Well you're not missing much here. We're going to the theme park at Circus Circus later. Should be entertaining watching JC following Caroline around like a love sick puppy."
Nick just chuckles. "Probably Cin too."
"Yeah, does that bother you?"
"What, that my fiance has a crush on another woman besides you? If it was anyone other than Caroline, it probably would, but I love Caroline to death. You?"
"No, I feel the same way. I know she'll never act on it, so it's actually kind of cute to watch."
"How's the rest of THE REVOLUTION family holding up?"
"Nick and Caroline are both starting to get nervous, and James just wants to get it over with. How are you holding up?"
"Let's just say I'm happy for this little distraction. I also think this should be a decent pay day. The arena is a little bigger than the last show and the card is stacked."
"I just hope you're not too jet lagged for Sunday night."
"I'm not going to be too jet lagged to kick ass tonight, or Sunday night. I might be at the tail end of my career, but I still live for this shit. I might have made a deal to come to Project: Honor for a lighter schedule, but that doesn’t mean that I’m not ready for a fight.”
“I know, Nicky. It’s just my job to worry about you.”
“Well you don’t need to, because I’ve got everything under control. Tonight I take one more step towards my goal here in Project: Honor, and Sunday night I plan on going out with a bang.”
“Well just be safe tonight.”
“I’ve got to go, Penny. The camera man I requested is here. Please tell everyone that I love them and I’ll see you all in the morning.”

Yuriko you might be wondering why I called you out. We don’t have any kind of a beef, Hell we’ve never even met. The answer is a simple one, I need an opponent that will help me make a name for myself here in Project: Honor. Sure I’m a legend in this business, known far and wide for being one of the toughest sons a bitches on planet Earth, that doesn’t seem to matter around here. I guess it’s only fair that I earn some respect by kicking the shit out of a few people.
Sure you don’t have the greatest of records, but if you look at the lower part of the roster you have the most talent. You push every single one of your opponents to be their very best just to beat you. A couple weeks ago Henry Lee Hyde had to use damn near everything in his arsenal to beat you. So most people probably see you as nothing more than another jobber, I see you as another stepping stone on my rise to the top.
Honestly I thought I would be facing Latoya Hixx this week, but somehow I managed to not offend her in some way last week. So given an opportunity to hand pick an opponent I chose you, because you’re just talented enough that people aren’t just going to get up and take a piss during our match. Our match will be just entertaining enough that it will draw in some viewers, thus making me more money, which is really what this is all about.
There is no doubt in my mind that I am going to choke you out. Believe me when I say this isn’t me being cocky, this is me calling about twenty-two years experience to know when I’m better than someone. Last week I knew I was better than the mathletes, with or without my partners, and this week I know that I’m better than you. Hell I know I’m better than everyone on the entire Fallout roster and it’s only a matter of time before I prove it.
My goal in this company is the same as it has been from the first day I walked through the door, be The Gatekeeper Champion within the first sixty days. I don’t think there is a single person in this company that can keep that from happening. They can keep lining up whoever they want, but I will put every single one of them down until they give me a crack at Henry Lee Hyde, or whoever else might be carrying my belt around for me. Keep it nice a shined up for me, because like I said before this is the Era of Knight.
