Preparations and planning are in motion as The Savior, Joseph Blaze, Lurch, and The Savior's followers stand around a table that is in the center of the room. Lurch is standing there with his arms crossed in front of him looking on as The Savior begins to speak.
“So do you all understand?”
Joseph Blaze, Lurch, and The Savior’s followers all nod their heads. The Savior is obviously in a white Anonymous mask and The Savior’s followers are in black Anonymous masks. The Savior looks over at Lurch who looks back trying to hide the fact he didn’t understand.
“Lurch, you understand right? Actually, just carry on doing what you have been doing, protecting Joseph when you need to. I promise you now if there is another incident like what happened when Gin attacked you and Joseph, you’ll no longer be The Protector but actually be the one in need of being protected. You’ve all witnessed firsthand what I’m capable of. Not only will I mentally torture you but emotionally and physically too. It’s not what I want to do but it’s what I will have to do if you fail me. Now, do you understand that, Lurch?”
Lurch isn’t a guy to be scared of anything but he is quick to nod his head at The Savior. Whatever The Savior has done and is capable of, is enough to make even the biggest of monsters fear him.
“Joseph, I believe in you. I know everything hasn’t gone one hundred percent all of the time but you’re definitely on the right track. All your hard work is paying off and I’m proud of you. At Emergence, I need you to go out there and show the world what you’re truly capable of. Even if that means tapping into your dark side and allowing The Blaze to make an appearance again. You do whatever it takes to win, you understand?”
“I understand, Savior.”
“Good. You’ve come so far, let’s not ruin all that hard work now. I have once again given you permission to stray from the light and use the darkness to your favor if you need to at Emergence. Just remember that as soon as you step into that arena it’s no mercy. It doesn’t matter who steps in your way, don’t even give them a warning, just take them out. You arrive at Emergence, you take no prisoners, and you walk out as the Project Underground Champion. Don’t worry, my reveal will happen after the Main Event so you better hope and pray that you haven’t failed me. My reveal needs to be in successful times and not in unsuccessful times. You’ve witnessed what I do to people who fail me and make me look like a fool. I like you Joseph but not even you are safe from my wrath if you fail me. I will not accept your failure, and I will not accept Lurch’s failure either.”
As The Savior’s followers nod, Joseph and Lurch follow suit and nod to indicate that they too understand what The Savior is saying. The Savior signals to Lurch and the followers to leave Joseph and The Savior alone. After a minute or two, Joseph and The Savior are finally alone as The Savior signals to Joseph to sit down. Both Joseph and The Savior take a seat at the table in the center of the room.
“Mark Hunter is a smart man for putting you in that Main Event. If he’d been the one to stop that, I’d have happily paid his happy family a visit. You see, Mark Hunter and I have history. We’ve both crossed paths in the past but luckily for him with never had to meet in the ring yet. I had visions that the self-centered and egotistical guy was going to put himself in the match. As I previously said, he has made a smart decision by including you in the match. Let’s continue your dominance in Project Underground and go out on top. I mean it when I say if you fail me, nothing will be able to save you. I’m the reason you’re as strong as you are. The reason that you’re still alive, you owe me your life and I expect you to go out there at Emergence and fight like your life depended on it because it does.”
Now finished saying what he had to say, The Savior gets up and starts to walk off before stopping next to Joseph and placing a hand on his shoulder.
“At Emergence, go out there and cause them nothing but nightmares and prove to them that they can’t handle the heat. Don’t allow them to extinguish the fire that burns within you, Joseph. I believe in you.”
The Savior’s hand lifts off from the shoulder of Joseph, The Savior then leaves the room leaving Joseph alone at the table.
“Forgive me, Lord, for at Emergence I will SIN!!!”
Getting to his feet, Joseph too leaves the room, closing the door behind him.
“Fuck you and your mom and your sister and your job and just all of you.”
The source of the voice walks into the only source of light coming from the camera itself. All that can be seen is the Anonymous Mask of The Savior.
“Emergence will have a Savior, The Savior being me of course. It may well have a big Main Event Match for the Project Underground Championship. Only, me revealing who I am is much bigger than that Championship will be. Don’t get me wrong, I want Joseph Blaze to win it and if he knows what is good for him, he will win it. I’ve always been a hot topic and a big deal around Project Honor. I was a Double Champion, one of which was a Tag Championship and we were and always will be the best Tag Team that Project Honor has ever had. There isn’t anything you can do to change that, it was our Legacy, and I’m a Tyrant therefore I’m making it a rule that it never changes. You all may have thought I’d be gone forever but the time has come for War. Joseph has blazed through the opposition here but when you see who I am, you’re going to realize why he is as good as he is. I am a God to that man and many more like him. If I want something, I’m going to get it and at Emergence, I want you all to see who I am.”
“Will the real The Savior please stand up, please stand up.”
The Anonymous mask tilts to the side, the cold eyes piercing through the mask stare emotionlessly into the camera.
“I’m already standing up, come Emergence you’ll all stand up with a standing ovation for me. Following that, you’ll bow down to your Savior because the alternative won’t be pretty. It doesn’t matter what show you’re on or who you are. You’re going to take notice and you’re going to be shocked to see who I am. Virgil Barrick, Meatball, and Kurtis Slayne can try with everything they have but they won’t be walking away victorious. Joseph Blaze knows what is on the line and knows the sacrifices that will be made if he fails me. I’m not the person you want to fail. You think Tate Selby, and Billy Bennett are sick and twisted but you just wait until you find out what I’m capable of. As soon as some of you see me, you’ll have experienced just what I’m capable of. Not one of you here in Project Honor will be able to say that you don’t know who I am. It’ll be pure ignorance and stupidity if you even attempt to say those words. Don’t worry, I have ways of breaking people mentally, emotionally, and physically. I molded Joseph Blaze into what he is today. The day I found Joseph he was at his weakest, now because of me he is at the strongest he's ever been and after Emergence, I will have that Project Underground Championship.”
Laughter from The Savior starts to echo around wherever they were. It was unknown because all that could be seen is the mask of The Savior. The only source of light that is coming from the camera suddenly goes out. It’s nothing but darkness now, the silence is creepy and makes the hairs on the back of the neck of the camera guy stand on end. When the light of the camera comes back on, it shows the cheesy grin of Joseph Blaze. The Savior had suddenly disappeared and been replaced by Joseph Blaze.
“Hello, it’s me. I was wondering if after all these moments you’d like to meet your maker. No? Well, that’s a shame because Virgil Barrick, Kurtis Slayne, and Meatball will do at Emergence. I will not fail The Savior, and I will not fail Project Underground by allowing these sinners to lay their hands on the Project Underground Championship. I’ve been sent to deliver a message and that’s just what I’ll do, one of these days my messages are gonna deliver all over you.”
The unbearable grin is now on Joseph Blaze’s face just before he erupts into laughter that echoes throughout the place they’re at.
“Enough of that. I’m being serious when I say no matter what it takes, I am going to walk out of Emergence as the Project Underground Champion. I believe in my abilities and I believe in the greater good. For the greater good, I have to be Project Underground Champion. I can’t allow a man named after food to represent Project Underground. Not only that I can’t allow Kurtis Slayne to bastardize Underground as Champion. Last but not least, I will not allow Virgil Barrick a guy who calls himself The Smooth Operator. Have you looked at how hairy-looking that man is? There is nothing smooth about that guy. Virgil is the poster guy for sinners. He advocates Cancer by smoking cigars, and he is a sinner for all the lies he tells. I will not allow Project Underground to burn to the ground with any of those sinners as Champion. I, Joseph Blaze will be walking out of Emergence victorious and I’m doing it for the greater good and for Project Underground.”
The once dark room suddenly lights up. The ungodly language from the camera guy says it all as you see the room is surrounded by flames. Joseph Blaze is as calm as anything as he demands the camera guy keep the camera on him.
“You see Virgil, Kurtis, and Meatball. Alone I’m a powerful guy but with Lurch and The Savior by my side, I’m damn well unstoppable. Not one of you is going to ruin this for me, the greater good, or Project Underground. You will all instantly regret the air you breathe if I’m unsuccessful in claiming the Project Underground Championship.”
The flames are now so hot and wild as the camera guy starts to panic now. Joseph stands in the middle of the room. The trademark annoying grin on his face as he holds his arms out wide and looks up to the ceiling. As Joseph closes his eyes, he slams his hand in a downwards motion which instantly extinguishes the flames that were around them. All that can be heard is the sound of laughter from Joseph Blaze as the camera guy says “FUCK THIS!!!” and runs out of the room and runs straight into Lurch. This sends the camera up into the air and the last thing you hear is the camera hitting the floor.
