JUST OUTSIDE OF ST. ELMO, COLORADO | DECEMBER 21ST, 2020
Immediately following the Purge Match at Unbreakable Resolution, Dex finds himself at a cabin just outside of St. Elmo, where shit went down. He’s currently sitting inside in front of his laptop next to the fireplace. On the laptop, he’s got the Purge Match playing from start to finish without any interruption, which means he either had someone edit it for him or he did it himself, but that’s unlikely. The footage shows Dex eliminating Josiah Andrew Scott.
“For it being my first match, I’d say it went just about as well as I thought it would. I got an elimination, caused some fucking havoc and made it to the final three out of ten.”
Dex then rewinds and fast forwards the footage to show where he got hit with a light tube from Red Riot, passing out to a submission by Matthew Knox, and Kallie Reznik riding off with Alistair.
“There were some times during this match that I wish I had approached better. A former member of the roster comes back just to hit me in the face with a light tube? I mean don’t get me wrong she was pretty fine, but the audacity. Red is lucky she’s not around anymore, especially after taking that shot against me. Also, how the fuck did I let this Knox Knox joke latch onto me and make me pass out?! And how the fuck did my bear go running off with some stranger?! I don’t know if he got confused with the blonde hair or what, but he’s never just let someone ride him like that besides me. You know what, I gotta get my dude back.”
Dex sets his laptop down on the table next to him. He grabs the same green dagger he had during the Purge Match and walks outside. He forcefully makes the dagger sound a tune more higher pitched than in the match.
ROARRRR!
Just behind the cabin was a tiny hill. Your eyes aren’t deceiving you either, as you see Alistair with Kallie on top of him coming just over the hill. Alistair notices Dex and full on charges directly to him with Kallie hanging on for dear life.
“EASY NOW, BEARY! I’M STILL HERE!”
Kallie is having the ride of her life, bouncing up and down and almost falling off of Alistair a couple times just going down the hill.
“I’LL GIVE YOU MORE POPCORN IF YOU SLOW DOWN!”
As Alistair approaches Dex, he slides in front of him, sending Kallie flying off the top of him also. She rolls once or twice, but is unharmed. After sliding, Alistair gets back to all fours and then tackles Dex, licking his face when pinned to the ground.
“Okay, buddy. I know, I know. I’ve missed you, too.”
After a few seconds of that, Dex is able to free himself and gets back up to his feet.
“That wasn’t nice, ya know! I could’ve been hurt.”
“Honestly, that’s the best thing that could’ve happened to you for taking someone’s bear.”
“HEY, HE CAME TO ME! I HAD POPCORN AND HE LIKED IT!”
“Where the hell did y’all even go? It’s not like him to just wander off with a stranger.”
Kallie got back up to her feet and walked over to Alistair, scratching his head.
“He just took me for a ride! A long one, but one I’ll never forget! I kept having to feed him popcorn, though, so sorry if he isn’t hungry.”
Kallie frowns for just a second, then returns back to her bubbly self.
“Alright, well I can take you to the airport or something if you need it.”
“OH MY GOD, YOU REALLY WOULD?!”
“You brought my bear back. Whether you rode off with him in the first place or not, he’s back. So I owe you for that. I may be an asshole, but I’m not a dick.”
“THANK YOU SO MUCH! Oh and about that person that was in Alistair’s mouth. Yeah… he may have eaten him also. But, funny story… he actually threw everything up right after.”
Dex laughs and takes both hands, scratching the sides of Alistair’s face.
“Who would’ve thought a Nazi would taste so nasty. Good shit, buddy.”
Alistair releases a slight roar, then takes a seat in front of them.
“Alright, Ali… I’ll be back shortly. I’m gonna take Kallie so she can go home now, okay?”
Dex scratches his ear and Alistair stares at him, blankly. He then lays down without making any more noise. Dex and Kallie walk to the front of the cabin. She looks over at him and looks him up and down.
“THOSE ARE SOME SICK TATS, BY THE WAY!”
“Uh, thanks. Been adding more and more over the years.”
And after that, that was all that was said the rest of the way to the airport. Dex turned on “Never Back Down” by No Resolve to start the car ride and the scene fades out as they drive away.
INSIDE DEX’S HEAD | LATER THAT DAY
How the hell do I end up in these situations? I thought I was supposed to be this badass dude that didn’t get along with anyone except Ali? Did that light tube give me a concussion or something? Was it the submission that shifted some shit in my brain? I swear, after this we go back to how we were before. I signed up for this shit to beat people up, not drive small people to airports.
Also, did someone say that I had an OnlyFans and a ten-inch… Or was that a dream? I mean part of that is true, but still. How would they know… Okay what the fuck is going on lately? Also why am I asking myself so many questions in my head right now? Alright dude shut the fuck up already and just gather yourself together.
A few seconds pass without a thought being thought before the madness begins again.
I can’t forget that I gotta do that photoshoot in a week or so. Oh, I also have to get back in the gym. I really thought I’d take this loss harder, but I just feel good. I felt good during it and I feel good now. Just need to get back to work if I’m gonna get my shit together and catch a win. Get out of your head, dude. GET OUT NOW!
SOME GYM IN DALLAS, TEXAS | JANUARY 2ND, 2021
“Let me just start out by saying that it feels good to be here, man. It’s a new fucking year and while it didn’t end the way I wanted it to, it was just the beginning. There’s a lot to be said, but I’m going to keep things short and sweet. I’m in the gym right now preparing for a match somewhere else, then gotta travel back to San Fran right after, so my schedule is pretty tight at the moment. As most of you know, I just started my wrestling career here in Project: Honor. I didn’t expect to be here, but I am. My first match was one for the ages and of course I showed up just as I said I would. I eliminated people, beat people to a bloody pulp, and put on the showing of a lifetime. It wasn’t enough and I’m not gonna blame anyone other than myself. What I will say though, is those that made it ahead of me… you’re not going to get away from me that easy. I’ll leave it at that for now.
Moving along now… This week is the Draft Show. Proving Ground, Fallout, whichever brand I land on will have the unfortunate pleasure of having me. Personally, I don’t care where I land because no matter where I go, destruction is going to follow. For now, I put my focus on the Draft Show where I’m facing this wacked out fuck by the name of Drago Santiago. Let’s just stop right there. Your name alone, bro, sounds like you belong to some gang or cult. You know that a cult leader should always be prepared for anything that comes their way, right? You have to defy the odds. You gotta be the leader that people FEAR. If my memory serves me right, you got beat by a woman who just got back into wrestling after a couple year hiatus, right? That’s not a good look for you to get yourself started here. It doesn’t even start there! Let’s go back a little further.
Let’s talk about your time in your most recent venture. What did you accomplish there exactly? Sure, you got a win against some mediocre talent that will never be spoken of again, but what else did you accomplish? From the looks of it, you didn’t do shit. You actually got made to look like someone I’m not afraid of AT ALL. What you’re doing, Drago, is still picking up your scraps after a failed tenure over there. Then you come here to lose to Elena and you didn’t look good there either. I must say, it’s already not looking too swell for ya. Don’t get me wrong, I know people can bounce back and all that mumbo jumbo, but for you it’s highly unlikely. The way I see it, you’re just going to keep scratching the surface, trying to find your way to even the smallest of hills so that you can get past the failure that has been your career as of recent. Am I wrong?
You can say no, but I know I’m right. Me, on the other hand. I came back from a light tube to the face to take someone out and all while barely being able to see. Not to mention… I didn’t look like a ragdoll against someone who had been out of the game for so long. You can make the argument that I haven’t been here long and haven’t been wrestling long, sure. Unlike you, I’ve been wrestling things that if they even stepped on you, would crush your very existence. I’ve been scratched up to a bloody mess and came out alive. I stand here today to inform you of one thing;
I. Fear. Nothing.
I plan on stepping into the ring with you, putting you down for a three count, and then wherever I end up getting drafted to, rinse and repeating that very sequence. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some training to do. While you’re being constantly humiliated in everything you do, I’m flourishing. I’ll see you very soon, Drago. Prepare for war.”
