JAMES EDGEBROOK: Welcome to another edition of The F’n Edge everyone! I’m your host, James Edgebrook…
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Get the fuck outta here with that ‘your host’ bullshit…
JAMES EDGEBROOK: …Along with my dear, close, personal friend, Julius Fairweather…
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Motherfucker, I’m ‘bout to ruin a perfectly good pair of shoes by wedging them up your scrawny ass…
JAMES EDGEBROOK: …and this week we’re kicking things off with our Elite Ten!
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: No shit, Jimmy! When you’ve got honorable mentions like Tate Selby, Giovanni, and the team of Cadillac Jackson and TJ Thompson, you just know the actual list is gonna be fire!
JAMES EDGEBROOK: Any of those names you mentioned could have slipped into the top ten spot this week when you consider the huge win by Tate Selby and the continued undefeated tag team streak of Cadillac and TJ. Giovanni on the other hand…well…let’s just say I’m not convinced as to the legitimacy of THE STATUS QUO after last week…
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Don’t worry. That’ pretty boy and his bleached blonde sidekick will get their chance to face some real competition soon enough…
10. ALYSSA GRACE (New to the Elite Ten)
JAMES EDGEBROOK: After dethroning Mr. Wright as the…well…Question Mark Champion, Alyssa Grace takes our number ten spot this week! She narrowly beat out our honorable mentions, but in the end we could not ignore the fact that she beat the former champion on his own turf.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: It’s not Alyssa’s first time in the Elite Ten, and I’m sure it won’t be her last. I am curious to see what the former Noble Title will become next…
9. EMMANUELLE (Down Two Spots)
JAMES EDGEBROOK: We can’t deny that Emmanuelle has had a rough patch since dropping the Grand Championship, and things didn’t get any easier last week when Casanova English scored the surprise upset in a battle of former Warrior Rising Champions.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: But we’ve got The Gates of Hell coming up, and both of those motherfuckers are in it. Emmy could shoot up on this list with a win there, but more on that when we get to our Predictions…
8. SWINDLE SHELLDRAKE (Down Two Spots)
JAMES EDGEBROOK: Someone else who takes a dip in the rankings this week is Swindle Shelldrake. While he was involved in Proving Ground’s main event, we still have yet to discover whether it was supposed to be his match or MYOJIN’s. Either way, Arata Asakura was the one still standing as the show went off the air, and that’s enough for us to drop his fellow combatants a couple of spots.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: The motherfucking Kraken is in Disputed Territory’s main event next, so just like Emmanuelle, he could find himself moving right back up.
7. BFG DIVISION (Up Three Spots)
JAMES EDGEBROOK: Speaking of moving up, Michael Bishop and Liz Karlson managed to take the tag team titles away from The Phantom Troupe at Public Execution. They had already been impressive enough to earn the number ten spot on our list, but this week we’ve bumped them up to the number seven spot.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Enjoy it while you can, motherfuckers. I happen to know a pair of hired badasses who have their eyes on you. Spoiler alert; it’s me and Slade Castle!
6. CASANOVA ENGLISH (Up Three Spots)
JAMES EDGEBROOK: It could be argued that a win over a former Grand Champion like Emmanuelle could serve as the biggest victory in Casanova English’s Project: Honor career. Being able to pin Emmy’s shoulders to the mat is more than enough to warrant Casanova’s movement into the number six spot.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: But once again, The Gates of Hell are nigh, and that motherfucking structure could change a lot of things around here!
5. HENRY LEE HYDE (No Change)
JAMES EDGEBROOK: The placement of Henry Lee Hyde on our list left us in somewhat of a predicament. His win over Toyama was quite impressive and perhaps his biggest title defense yet. Then again, it’s hard to justify moving him ahead of the remaining competitors on our list. I don’t think The Gatekeeper Champion has peaked on this list, but it may take something extra special to boost him into the top three spots.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: There’s an argument to be made that he should be ahead of our next two competitors, but since their match turned into a no-contest free-for-all, the images in my crystal ball became a little bit hazy. Either that or I’ve been smoking too much.
4. ARATA ASAKURA (Down One Spot)
JAMES EDGEBROOK: While technically retaining his championship in the impromptu three-way brawl, we still have to knock the Grand Champion down one spot on our list. It was by no means a clearcut win for Arata last week, but then again, it wasn’t a loss either.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Anytime you get to stand tall over a pair of tough motherfuckers like Swindle and MYOJIN, I’d call it a win.
3. MYOJIN (Down One Spot)
JAMES EDGEBROOK: And speaking of MYOJIN, they drop one spot as well after Proving Ground’s non-match main event. Still, The Shining Star is on the way to breaking more records as a champion, so it wouldn’t seem right to drop them any lower than the number three spot.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: I was a tag team champion for seventy-five motherfucking years, and how often did I end up in the Elite Ten? Biased motherfucking producers…
2. HAVOC (Up 2 Spots)
JAMES EDGEBROOK: A huge championship defense over Mark Hunter inside of a steel cell propels Havoc back up to the number two spot this week, and it’s certainly well-deserved. Despite being out of action until recently, Mark Hunter is still an elite competitor, but Havoc proved that he was better at Public Execution.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: The Nightmare Tyrant is a bad motherfucker. What else is there to say?
1. BILLY BENNETT (No Change)
JAMES EDGEBROOK: And finally, in our number one spot, is the reigning Legacy Champion, Billy Bennett. At Public Execution she was met with a strong challenge from Brandon Hendrix, but her victory not only denies Hendrix a title shot, but also keeps her holding steady at the top of our list.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Next up? Big Match John Blade. This is the bullshit that happens when the champ sends out an open challenge. If I didn’t respect that booty so much, I might have answered it myself.
JAMES EDGEBROOK: And that does it for this week’s Elite Ten! Don’t go anywhere, because we’ll be right back after this message to reveal our Medals of Honor!
JAMES EDGEBROOK: Welcome back to The F’n Edge. Coming up next are our Medals of Honor for Public Execution and the latest Proving Ground, and we have attempted to tabulate the votes to the best of our ability.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Because some motherfucker in the digital media department deleted them…
BEST FALLOUT PROMO - Havoc’s “Rebirth”
RUNNER UP - Mark Hunter’s “Penance”
BEST PROVING GROUND PROMO - Casanova English’s “Embryo”
RUNNER UP - Emmanuelle’s “A Little Bee Told Me…”
JAMES EDGEBROOK: With their Pay-Per-View main event looming, Havoc and Mark Hunter brought their A-Game when addressing each other and the fans of Project: Honor. The hatred between these two men was palpable and they didn’t hold back
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Over on the Proving Ground side of things, Casanova English stepped up his own game when he was set to go one-on-one with Emmanuelle. Of course, Emmy’s own promo was nothing to scoff at.
BEST SEGMENT - Slade and Julius for Hire
RUNNER UP - Ratmania Runs Wild
JAMES EDGEBROOK: Public Execution II gave us several memorable segments, but it would seem that the fans really enjoyed the behind-the-scenes look at my co-host and his partner, Slade Castle, as they celebrated their successful new business venture.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: You’re goddamn right…
JAMES EDGEBROOK: Other than that, everything was coming up Ratman, as Percival Burque was quite busy behind the scenes as he presented his first Pay-Per-View as Fallout’s General Manager.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: That motherfucker needs medication.
BEST ONGOING FEUD - Arata Asakura vs. MYOJIN vs. Swindle Shelldrake
RUNNER UP - Andrew Holt vs. Everyone
JAMES EDGEBROOK: As we draw closer to Disputed Territory, the three-way rivalry between Arata Asakura, MYOJIN, and Swindle Shelldrake continues to escalate. This week, Arata was the one standing tall after their brawl plunged the arena in darkness and nearly electrocuted both The Kraken and The Shining Star.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Another on-going saga that the fans continue to appreciate is Andrew Holt versus everyone else. Lil’ Petey got his turn at Public Execution, along with the rest of Big Drip and Savannah too. If he wasn’t such a piece of shit, I’d almost feel bad for the motherfucker. Almost.
BEST SPOT - Havoc and Hunter crash through the cell ceiling
RUNNER UP - Liz sends Valentine off the balcony
JAMES EDGEBROOK: Public Execution II provided us with some amazing matches as well as some specific spots that won’t soon be forgotten. Seeing Havoc and Mark Hunter plummet through the ceiling of the cell was one such moment, and it also factored heavily into Havoc’s eventual victory.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Almost as crazy was Liz Karlson throwing herself and Kyle Valentine off the motherfucking balcony. I saw that shit firsthand, and I have to admit, it made me smile.
BEST MOMENT - Petey Nine-Fingers
RUNNER UP - Project: Honor’s Manager of Digital Services Deletes Medal of Honor Voting
JAMES EDGEBROOK: But there were more than just fantastic spots as certain moments beyond death-defying wrestling moves stood out. I’m not sure if any of us will ever forget Lil’ Petey losing a digit thanks to the chainsaw wielded by Andrew Holt. We can only hope that it wasn’t Hannah’s favorite finger.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: And the runner up is…who the fuck knows? All the motherfucking votes were deleted so I don’t have a damn clue! It could have been John Blade’s rap, Percival Burque’s wheelchair shenanigans, or MYOJIN’s attempt at building another motherfucking stable! Beats the hell out of me!
BEST FALLOUT MATCH - Havoc vs. Mark Hunter Hell in a Cell
RUNNER UP - BFG Division vs. Phantom Troupe
JAMES EDGEBROOK: One thing we do know is that Havoc and Mark Hunter’s Hell in a Cell main event dazzled the fans from start to finish. It was an epic encounter that took place in, around, and on top of the structure! I’d be surprised if the two competitors didn’t have a few years shaved off their careers from participating in this one.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: A lot of those Public Execution matches got their share of love, but the motherfucking fans really seemed to enjoy the Tag Team Title Match. I’ll credit that to the great commentary team of myself and Slade Castle lifting up an otherwise midcard snoozefest!
BEST PROVING GROUND MATCH - Casanova English vs. Emmanuelle
RUNNER UP - Caddy and TJ vs. Betsy and Lexi
JAMES EDGEBROOK: On the Proving Ground side of things, Casanova English and Emmanuelle provided us with the real main event of the evening in a memorable clash between the two greatest Warrior Rising Champions of all time.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: PG had a tag match that got a lot of love too! Motherfuckers really seem to be digging the new team of Betsy and Lexi, and they just can’t get enough of the streak that Caddy and TJ are on.
SUPERSTAR OF THE WEEK - Havoc
RUNNER UP - Casanova English
JAMES EDGEBROOK: And finally, we come to Superstar of the Week, which has to go to Havoc as he successfully retained the Ascended Prime Championship in Public Execution’s main event. From his promo work to the in-ring brutality he put on display, it’s hard to argue that he stood out from the pack of amazing wrestlers in Project: Honor last week.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: But don’t sleep on Casanova English! That motherfucker had a huge win, which some may have considered an upset! Beating Emmanuelle shows that English is firmly in the title picture and that he’s still a force to be reckoned with!
JAMES EDGEBROOK: So there you have it! That’s our Medals of Honor, at least to the best of our memory. And remember, if you think we made some errors in judgment this week, blame our digital media director, Roberto R. Robertson. I’m sure you can find a way to reach him with your concerns, but I’m warning you, he will not give a single fuck.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Stay tuned cause we’ll be right back with our predictions for the next motherfucking Fallout and Disputed Territory II!
JAMES EDGEBROOK: Before we get into our predictions for the upcoming shows, I’m currently sitting at sixty-eight correct while Julius has slightly pulled ahead with seventy-two.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: You’re goddamn right!
JAMES EDGEBROOK - 68 CORRECT PREDICTIONS
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER - 72 CORRECT PREDICTIONS
PAID IN BLOOD
Single Match
ALYSSA GRACE vs. HENRY LEE HYDE
ALYSSA GRACE vs. HENRY LEE HYDE
JAMES EDGEBROOK: This is one hell of a way to start the show as two of Fallout’s champions meet up in a non-title match. That makes this one a little tricky to predict, but I can’t deny the roll that Henry Lee Hyde has been on. I have to go with the Gatekeeper Champion here.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Well, you’re wrong as usual, Jimmy. Don’t misunderstand, I do appreciate the work Hyde has been putting in, but Alyssa just took the ‘Whatchamacallit” Title off of Mr. Wright, and that’s some impressive shit. I think she’s gonna be determined to establish herself as the true secondary champion on Fallout.
Trios Tag Match
ZERO, NICK KNIGHT, AND LATOYA HIXX vs. ADVANCED MATHEMATICS
ZERO, NICK KNIGHT, AND LATOYA HIXX vs. ADVANCED MATHEMATICS
JAMES EDGEBROOK: This trio’s match will see the addition of Advanced Mathematics third member, and that adds up to a solid win for them. They’re going to divide and conquer their opponents, thus multiplying their success.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Just for that, I’m going with the other three. I don’t know much about Zero, but I say he gets his revenge this week with Knight and Hixx by his side.
In Honor of Love Your Thighs Day
BENJAMIN BROADWATER vs. ANDREI SOKOLOV vs. LIZ KARLSON
BENJAMIN BROADWATER vs. ANDREI SOKOLOV vs. LIZ KARLSON
JAMES EDGEBROOK: As a newly crowned Tag Team Champion, I think Liz Karlson is the favorite in this contest, and I’m not going against the grain. She has the momentum here and I think she comes out on top.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Someone else in this match has momentum, and that’s Benny Buttwater. He marched into Proving Ground and got a win over Stella Jade, so I think he’ll do the same thing now that he’s back on his home brand.
Pin Them Both Match
YURIKO TOYAMA vs. JASON LONG vs. MICHAEL BISHOP
YURIKO TOYAMA vs. JASON LONG vs. MICHAEL BISHOP
JAMES EDGEBROOK: For the same reason I picked Liz Karlson, I’m going with Michael Bishop here. As a newly crowned champion, he has the momentum, while the other two are coming off of some difficult losses at Public Execution.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Bishop? Nah, fuck that guy! He’s keeping my belt warm but that’s only temporary. I’m going with Jason Long here, cause he ain’t the kind of motherfucker to take a loss and not come back stronger.
Single Match
HAVOC vs. TATE SELBY
HAVOC vs. TATE SELBY
JAMES EDGEBROOK: And finally we have Fallout’s main event as Tate Selby is coming off a huge win with his sights now set on Havoc! Still, I’ve learned not to bet against The Nightmare Tyrant. I think he’s just too much for Selby to handle.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Well, you don’t know shit, Jimmy! If Tate can get a win over Jason Long, I say he can do the same thing with Havoc. It might be somewhat of an upset, but I’m picking Selby to get the non-title win and put himself in serious contention for a title shot!
DISPUTED TERRITORY II
(Poster Coming Soon…?)
(Poster Coming Soon…?)
Sideshow Preview Match
BOBBY BENNETT VS. DARIUS WALKER VS. KIT DARLING VS. MR. NIX VS. OMAR KING
BOBBY BENNETT VS. DARIUS WALKER VS. KIT DARLING VS. MR. NIX VS. OMAR KING
JAMES EDGEBROOK: Then it’s on to another Pay-Per-View blockbuster, starting off with a sneak peek at some of Sideshow’s performers! Without knowing much about the new brand, this is incredibly hard to pick. That being said, I think Omar King could be very impressive and he gets my vote.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Fair enough. Personally, I don’t bet against anyone with the last name of Bennett, so Bayou Bobby is my pick!
Tag Team Turmoil Match
BETSY GALLAGHER AND LEXI GOLD VS. CADILLAC JACKSON AND TJ THOMPSON
VS. DJ HUNTER AND KYLE VALENTINE VS. DIANA AND MIKEY HERO
VS. GIOVANNI AND JOHNNY LEVY VS. JULIUS FAIRWEATHER AND SLADE CASTLE
BETSY GALLAGHER AND LEXI GOLD VS. CADILLAC JACKSON AND TJ THOMPSON
VS. DJ HUNTER AND KYLE VALENTINE VS. DIANA AND MIKEY HERO
VS. GIOVANNI AND JOHNNY LEVY VS. JULIUS FAIRWEATHER AND SLADE CASTLE
JAMES EDGEBROOK: For the first time ever, we’re getting a massive Tag Team Turmoil Match in Project: Honor with the winners getting a future tag title shot. The division really seems to be picking up steam, and after picking up a surprisingly easy win over THE STATUS QUO last week, I’m going with Giovanni and Johnny Levy to score the upset.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit! I’m gonna lay it out straight for you; even if me and Castle don’t win the match, we’re gonna be coming out as the winners. Take that however you want.
Triple A Title Match
SERRANO POBLANO VS. WILLEM DAFOE
SERRANO POBLANO VS. WILLEM DAFOE
JAMES EDGEBROOK: From there we’ll have a Triple A Title Match between current champion, Serrano Poblano, and the leader of the DaVengers, Willem Dafoe. I know Serrano is a sentimental favorite among many, but I’m not about to go against star of Mr. Dafoe’s caliber.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Spoiler Alert! That motherfucker killed Aunt May so he can fuck right off! Kick his ass, Serrano!
Death Match
INDY DARLING VS. KURTIS SLAYNE
INDY DARLING VS. KURTIS SLAYNE
JAMES EDGEBROOK: This one has been building for some time. What started as a stalker situation in another promotion turned into Indy losing several months of in-ring opportunities. Still, I’m going with Kurtis Slayne in this one. He has too much hatred for his half-brother for Indy to overcome.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Nah, fuck that. Indy is my boy, and he knows how to take care of business. He’s gonna treat that little motherfucker like Johnny Levy on an average Friday Night.
Billy Bennett Challenge
BILLY BENNETT VS. JOHN BLADE
BILLY BENNETT VS. JOHN BLADE
JAMES EDGEBROOK: Billy Bennett’s time is up and John Blade’s time is now. Billy won’t even see him coming.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: I’d agree if it was a rap battle, but this is gonna be a fight and I already said I don’t bet against anyone with the last name of Bennett. Get the fuck out of here with that John Blade fanboy bullshit!
Gates of Hell Match
BRANDON HENDRIX VS. CASANOVA ENGLISH VS. DECLAN O’CONNOR VS. DOUGLAS CRANE
VS. EMMANUELLE VS. JAMES RAYMOND VS. SILAS ISAAC NABERIUS VS. STELLA JADE
BRANDON HENDRIX VS. CASANOVA ENGLISH VS. DECLAN O’CONNOR VS. DOUGLAS CRANE
VS. EMMANUELLE VS. JAMES RAYMOND VS. SILAS ISAAC NABERIUS VS. STELLA JADE
JAMES EDGEBROOK: Then we have the second ever Gates of Hell Match. The first one was insane and I expect this to be no different. Still, one difference I predict is that Emmanuelle will not win this time around. Casanova English has the momentum and the drive. I predict he makes it all the way to the end to capture the mystery prize.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Aw, hell no! This is the match that Emmy made and you can bet your sweet ass she’s gonna want some revenge against English. The Platinum Standard is gonna do it again to prove she’s the master of The Gates of Hell Match!
Grand and X-Factor Title Match
ARATA ASAKURA VS. MYOJIN VS. SWINDLE SHELLDRAKE
ARATA ASAKURA VS. MYOJIN VS. SWINDLE SHELLDRAKE
JAMES EDGEBROOK: And finally we have our main event, with Proving Ground’s two top titles on the line. I predict that Arata Asakura will come out strong and end MYOJIN’s streak by taking the X-Factor Title. However, The Shining Star will outlast him in the long run and emerge as the Grand Champion.
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Do you honestly think Swindle ain’t gonna get a piece of the pie? What the fuck are you smoking, Jimmy? I say Shelldrake kicks things off by becoming the new X-Factor Champion, but when all the dust settles, Arata will still have a firm grip on the motherfucking Grand Championship. MYO’s had one hell of a run, but it all comes to an end at Disputed Territory.
JAMES EDGEBROOK: That’s it for our predictions, but before we go, I’d like to thank one final sponsor of tonight’s show…
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: Well, ain’t that some shit.
JAMES EDGEBROOK: Indeed it is. Thank you all for joining us for another edition of The F’n Edge. We hope to see you all for Fallout and Disputed Territory, and as always, be cool…
JULIUS FAIRWEATHER: …or be gone, motherfuckers!
