{The camera cuts in and we see both halves of the Phantom Troupe standing outside of the Freedom Hall venue in Louisville Kentucky, dressed in their normal street clothes and sans their tag team titles as Kyle looks up in slight awe at the building in front of him}
DJ: You alright partner?
Kyle: Yeah...just thinking about the history of this place.
DJ: Yeah, it's had some pretty big events happen here. The last time I was here, I was still in training and helping set up and take down the ring and I also got to be ringside for Matt Hunter's last match as a professional wrestler when he went up against Chris Slayton for the UWC World title back in the day.
Kyle: I'm told that was some match.
DJ: Yeah, I mean in their entire time as wrestlers Matt could never get a victory over Chris, I mean in twenty something years that they had been wrestling all over the world and across dozens of promotions-he never could once get a pin fall over Chris.
Kyle: Yeah and now we're facing a similar uphill battle against Mike and Liz, don't we?
{DJ looks over at his partner and nods slowly in agreement as he strokes his chin thoughtfully}
DJ: I guess? Look, it's going to be one hell of an uphill battle for us but you know something, we're going into this pay per view as the champions while they have to literally climb a mountain to even get close to our titles.
{Kyle simply nods as he crosses his arms over his broad chest as a thought crosses DJ's mind}
DJ: Wait, does this have something to do with the fact that this is your first pay per view where you're walking in as a champion, isn't?
Kyle: Pretty much, I mean I'm about to throw down with freaking Michael Bishop, how could you *not* get a little bit concerned about throwing down with a bad ass like that, DJ?
DJ: Afraid you'll choke?
Kyle: Nope, nervous about wrestling against a guy of his caliber...yes, not going to lie there man.
{DJ nods and then thumps his partner on the right shoulder}
DJ: We got this, now come on...it's time for your favorite thing in the whole wide world...
Kyle: Fucking promos....
{The screen then cuts out before it comes back in and we see both halves of the Troupe looking more than ready for a fight with that sheer focus of Kyle's now set once more upon his face}
DJ: Two defenses down and now we come to number three and perhaps against two of the toughest and more brutal hombres here in Project Honor. We don't need to say their names because they don't fucking need any introduction anyway as their own reps speak for themselves.
A couple of people who win the gold everywhere and anywhere that they go and here in Project Honor, our opponents have teamed up to try and run roughshod over *our* division...a division *ran* by the Phantom Troupe!
A division that a lot of people in which a lot of people didn't take us seriously when we said that we were coming here to win this straps and represent this promotion with honor and that is something that we've been doing over in that massive tag team event that Splat Entertainment has been running.
A division where we were considered the jokes, but to our opponents we ask one simple question;
{Both Kyle and DJ hold up the World Tag Team titles}
DJ: Who the heck is laughing now?
We've been hearing the snickers and the shit talk that you think you're talking low enough about Kyle and myself. We busted our asses to prove ourselves worthy of being champions and sure as shit, we not only beat one very tough tag team, but we did it fairly as well, no hidden chair shots or anything like that.
We've earned these tag team straps with our won blood and sweat.
Kyle: And that's something our opponents know all well how to do...but in their cases they've earned their accolades through their own sweat and blood...but someone's tears and I'm fine with that because that means that there will be no pussy footing around in this match at Death Sentence, it will be one hell of a war for these titles but unfortunately I have some very bad news and that is it doesn't matter how many times you blast our balls to the wall..our opponents will not leaving this venue with *OUR* tag team titles.
And the reason for that is simple-while our opponents are more than capable of tearing down the house to win these titles, we are much more capable of tearing down this entire fucking *city* to keep them around our sexy waists and there's no denying that because ever since we've won these titles, we've defended them without fail or hesitation and at Death Sentence, live on pay per view, we're going to do it once again because once this machine gets going, there's no real stopping it and plus there is a bonus to all of this because once we put the both of you down and hoist up *OUR* titles at the end of our match, then that means all of the shit talk stops.
All of the comments about how we're just like most songs back in the 80's in that we're a one hit wonder...all of that shit ends and that's just a fat happy bonus that I'm going to savor and enjoy because we've earned our fucking places here in this company, just like we've earned our initial shot at these tag team titles...and just like Edgebrook said during the F'N Edge this past week, he made the mistake of betting against us in the past and dollars to doughnuts our opponents are already looking forward to shining up our straps.
DJ: You know, my partner and I could just keep going on and on about why we're going to walk into Freedom Hall here and retain our titles, but this is a situation that requires more than just words isn't? No this requires one simple thing and that's putting action to our words and that's what drives us unlike any other team in this promotion.
So come on down to the Freedom Hall, lady and gent, and we invite you to come and try to take what belongs to the Phantom Troupe and see how quickly we strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger.
Come for the Violence, because that's all you're going to get.
Kyle: Cheers, fuckers!
{The screen fades to black}
