Aftermath of the High Stakes Roulette Rumble. Houston, Texas. Sunday 27th March (Off-Camera)
Although it was his first run in wrestling for a professional wrestling company, he was eliminated by Stephen Terrella who entered the rumble match at number fifteen, while Declan entered the rumble match at number eleven. Declan didn't perform as badly as most people thought with how well he hanged himself with the top wrestlers of the company. Although some were from other wrestling companies, Declan seemed to be the only new wrestler in the company.
Declan went to his changing room to get in the shower, before he places clothes on. He placed his wrestling clothes in the bag and walked out of the arena. Mostly because he wanted to get back to the hotel room, although he wasn't called back to the arena to get a contract or anything like that. However, as he was going to go off to sleep, mobile phone vibrates as Declan picks the phone up and presses the green button as Declan answers the phone.
Declan O'Connor: “Hello?”
Man on phone: “Hello Declan, it's Cillian Doyle.”
Cillian was Declan's and other wrestler's trainer and was the head of the wrestling school of The Irish Overseas. Declan nodded, even if he sighed with his performance tonight, knowing he's more than unlikely to be signed up with Imperial Wrestling Federation
Declan O'Connor: “Ah, Cillian. How's the wrestling school going?”
Cillian Doyle: “It's going great, got a few more students coming in now. Got any offers from Imperial Wrestling Federation yet?”
Declan O'Connor: “No, not a single one. However, I realised in the long run, it's not going to be a company for me. I need a hell a lot of money and wrestling every week because of lack of home will not benefit me.”
Cillian nodded on the phone, but at the same time, impressed how Declan was pretty smart when it comes to money side of things, but there was something Cillian had discovered as of late when searching around for other companies, one of them attracted his attention that may very well fit perfectly for Declan.
Cillian Doyle: “To be honest, I can see what you mean. You wouldn't always have the money to travel back to and from America every single week and gain nothing out of it. However, there is a company out there I've been looking at that may fit you so much better.”
Declan O'Connor: “Which company is that?”
Cillian Doyle: “Project Honor. They do shows every other week and I thought to myself, that's perfect when your saving money to get a home in America.”
Declan O'Connor: “Sounds like a deal. I go and sign a contract with them tomorrow, providing you'll send me an e-mail with the application form for me to fill out.”
Cillian Doyle: “I'll do that right away first thing tomorrow morning. I'm personally glad you agree with Project Honor being a better fit for you at the moment because your able to come home for a week and go back to wrestle again. Chat to you more tomorrow.”
The phone call was suddenly cut as Declan places the mobile phone back on the bedside table. Declan turns off the lights in his hotel room in Texas and goes straight off to sleep, having a smile on his face on a company that for now, suited the needs for Declan and one that had so many wrestlers and so much competition as well.

“Just a quick video today since I haven't really got a lot of time to address a few things. I'm Declan O'Connor, coming from Ireland. I only joined the company a couple of weeks ago since the rumble match I had in Imperial Wrestling Federation. I was the eleventh entrant in and then I got thrown out by Stephen Terrella. I was so disappointed in myself because I felt I could've done better, but at the same time, it's my first ever professional wrestling match I had and I wasn't going to win that match right off the bat.
But I do have to move on from that match of course and talk about my opponent which I apologise for not addressing him in the first place, Serrano Poblano. Seem like an entertaining guy to me, something you rarely see in this day and age in professional wrestling. You have won against top guys in wrestling I'm sure before. I admire you on that for sure because you've won more matches than me in my career so far.
However, I won't be holding back on what I'll do to you in the ring because I aim to win as so should everyone that wrestles here. It still bothers me to be eliminated from the rumble and not got any eliminations. I do feel you don't take yourself too seriously as a wrestler, but a guy who would be awesome at construction work.
I doubt you have anything on Irish Diamond Technician because while you're a big guy that uses power wrestling moves. I don't and aim to take you down with my fists and feet. I'm going teach you the ways of life in becoming a professional wrestler. However there can only be one winner of our match and that's me.
Because I crave to get my first win in my first ever match in one on one match. I will do everything to get that win because I want to advance my career, I'm not going to stand still until I will beat you down with my fists because it's a professional wrestling business after all, but I'm not going to overlook you and you shouldn't with me. I'll see you in the ring tomorrow night.
