We open with newly married Savannah Holt walking through the back halls of the 2300 Arena. She looks absolutely exhausted as the bags under her eyes shows she hasn’t slept in days. She sluggish walks up to a door labeled ‘Savannah Andrews - Project: Underground General Manager’. She longingly reaches up and runs her finger along her last name ‘Andrews’.
SAVANNAH HOLT: What have I done…
Tears begin to fill her eye as she finally reaches down and grabs the knob, opening the door. She stops dead , only taking a step into her office. Sitting at her desk, is one of the Project: Honor owners and her former Fallout General Manager, Christian DeMarco.
CHRISTIAN DeMARCO: THERE she is. I was wondering how long it was going to take you to walk through that door.
SAVANNAH HOLT: Christian…
Savannah quickly wipes the tears from her eyes and her cheeks.
SAVANNAH HOLT: …what are you doing here? What can I help you with?
Christian sits up in the chair as he motions for Savannah to sit in the seat across from him. She slowly does so, confused by the fact that he is sitting in HER chair.
CHRISTIAN DeMARCO: Listen, you and I have somewhat of a history together from my time as the show runner for Fallout. We’ve been through Drago Santiago, Redd, Kayla Richards…and we are some of the few that have still made our way out of that mess…although the scars are piling up.
SAVANNAH HOLT: We’ve been at odds too.
CHRISTIAN DeMARCO: I don’t want to bring those up, though. Because Savannah…lately…your choices have not been so great. Running around with True Society, hanging around that Billy Bennett, AND THEN…to top it all off as the icing on the cake…you went and MARRIED Arik Holt? What were you thinking, Sav?
The timid, quiet Savannah Sunshine began to return as Savannah’s eyes fell to the floor.
SAVANNAH HOLT: I’m not sure.
CHRISTIAN DeMARCO: Of all the people you could have stood behind, of all the friends you could have made, OF ALL THE FISH IN THE SEA…it’s been one bad move after another…after another…after another. I question your choices, I question your decisions, and I question your mindset, Sav. I know you have a good heart and you just want love and companionship like the rest of us…but this is low…like…worse than Valkyrie, low.
Savannah’s eyes shoot up to DeMarco. She tries to give him a dirty look, but she knows he is partially telling the truth.
CHRISTIAN DeMARCO: I don’t know if you need time off, you need to step away for a while…or WHAT needs to be done. But by looking at the bags under your eyes right now…I can tell you need the rest, Savannah. I think you need to step away and try to refocus yourself. Find that inner peace and come back when you think you found it. But…that time off doesn’t mean time with…him.
SAVANNAH HOLT: I can’t, Christian. I have Project: Underground to run an-
Christian shakes his head and holds up his hand to stop her.
CHRISTIAN DeMARCO: That’s my main reason for being here tonight, Savannah. While Indy Darling chose to continue on with Proving Ground and both Petey and Percival chose to tackle Fallout…I elected to take on the outliers…the sideshows. Project: Underground is part of that brand umbrella.
SAVANNAH HOLT: So what are you saying?
CHRISTIAN DeMARCO: Savannah…you know what I’m saying. I’m giving you the opportunity to do this your way, before I do it my way.
She lets out a sigh, knowing the direction this is going.
CHRISTIAN DeMARCO: So what do you have to say, Sav?
SAVANNAH HOLT: Christian…consider this my resignation as General Manager of Project: Underground.
Christian nods his head in agreement.
CHRISTIAN DeMARCO: Listen, I know it’s hard. But right now, I feel it is the best for both you and Project: Underground. You can stick around if you want, check out the show, then come and pick up your things. Or…
Christian slides a white envelope across the desk.
CHRISTIAN DeMARCO: …I have a hotel reservation for one at the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing.
Sav looks at Christian, a little confused.
CHRISTIAN DeMARCO: I booked an executive level suite for a week, starting tonight. It’s under my name, but I told them someone else might be coming instead. Take the keycard in this envelope, go there…rest…relax…think about life. If you need more time, call the Project: Honor office and I will extend the stay.
Savannah reaches out slowly and takes the envelope.
CHRISTIAN DeMARCO: We may not have always seen eye-to-eye Savannah, but I consider you a close friend. I need you to take care of yourself. Because right now it is looking like your world is caving in and there aren’t too many people left to give you a hand up.
SAVANNAH HOLT: …Thank you…
Savannah stands to her feet, as does Christian. Savannah walks over and gives him a hug, letting out a small sob, before turning and walking out of the room. Christian shakes his head in frustration as Savannah gets out of earshot.
CHRISTIAN DeMARCO: Fuck you, Andy. Your time is coming, I promise.

PAIN & SUFFERING
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30TH, 2022
2300 ARENA, PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA
I wake up to the sounds
Of the silence that allows
For my mind to run around
With my ear up to the ground
As the intro begins, replays of moments from the last show begin to play. We see Scar jump from the canvas, land on the top rope, and twist around until he's got a good stance and nails M.A.N. with a UFO Cutter aka KIllmonger.
I'm searching to behold
The stories that are told
When my back is to the world
That was smiling when I turned
The next scene shows Trafalgar Law blasting Jupiter with the Dreamcatcher double knee facebreaker. As Jupiter stumbles back, Law turns him inside out with a Detroit Smash Buckshot Lariat.
Tell you you're the greatest
But once you turn they hate us
Next up, we see Tyler Cage eying up Virgil Barrick after just hitting him with a backstabber. Cage quickly crawls up the nearest turnbuckle and jumps off…AIR ATTITUDE! Shooting Star Press
Oh the misery
Everybody wants to be my enemy
Spare the sympathy
Everybody wants to be
My enemy-y-y-y-y
(Look out for yourself)
My enemy(Look)-y(Look)-y(Look)-y(Look)-y
(Look out for yourself)
But I'm ready
After that we get a view of Meatball getting hit by a Phantom Blood Float Over Stunner by Gin Kuromiya. Meatball looks a little dazed, but he grabs Gin and buries him into the mat with a Bad Driver Jackhammer that almost sends them both through the ring. With Gin’s eyes almost rolling into the back of his head, Meatball pulls him up, tosses him into the air and plants him once more, but this time with the Executing The Plan Package Piledriver.
Your words up on the wall
As you're praying for my fall
And the laughter in the halls
And the names that I've been called
The Headliner was up next with a little back and forth between Kurtis Slayne and Nathan O’Connor. Nathan with a No Limitation...Kurtis with a Bastard Bomb. But it was O’Connor hitting Slayne with a New Dawn Fades Swinging Back Elbow that put Kurtis on his back.
I stack it in my mind
And I'm waiting for the time
When I show you what it's like
To be words spit in a mic
End of the song and final playback was the Main Event of Andrea Cross and Joseph Blaze. Joseph Blaze makes quick work of here, dropping her with Amazing Grace Over The SHoulder Backbreaker Lift into a piledriver. The final shot shows Joseph Blaze smiling with his devilish grin…before we are greeted by the Project: Underground logo.
OPENING MATCH
ANDREA CROSS vs TRAFALGAR LAW vs JUPITER
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
The match started as more of a ping-pong match, with Andrea Cross and Trafalgar Law taking their turn bouncing Jupiter off of each other. The big man almost looked confused from the moment the bell rung. But after they were done playing with their food, Andrea and Trafalgar turned on each other. After a barrage of back and forth elbows and fits, Trafalgar tried to catch Andrea off guard with the Buster Wolf. But Andrea ducked under the spinning back elbow strike and managed to catch Law up under the neck and reversed it into the Kiwi Krash!. With Law out on the mat thanks to the high angle Uranage, Andrea moved over to Jupiter who was still beaten on the ground. She grabbed his legs and quickly trapped him in the Kiwi Krunch. Not being able to withstand the pain of the Inverted Cloverleaf, Jupiter quickly tapped.
VERA KNIGHT: Your winner by submission…ANDREA CROOOOSSSSS!!!!
MATCH TWO
VIRGIL BARRICK vs NATHAN O’CONNOR
SINGLES MATCH
In a show where some people were matched to be equals, this one put a four win Virgil against a one win Nathan. But despite being out-matched on paper, Nathan tried his damndest to put on a show. Attempted suplex after attempted kicks, after attempted suplex by the young Nathan. But time and time again, Virgil would just slip out of the hold or move out of the way. And as if he was done toying around with the smaller, less attractive kid, Virgil finally went on the offensive. With Nathan failing to hit another kick, Virgil slipped behind him and LAID him out with a Lariat to the back of the head. The ref quickly stopped Virgil from continuing the assault and checked on Nathan before calling for the bell.
VERA KNIGHT: Your winner by knockout…VIRGIL BAAARRRRIIICCCKKK!!!
Gin Kuromiya is seen walking backstage minding his own business. Although he isn’t booked tonight, he is still here. Gin is brought to a sudden stop when he sees Lurch in front of him. Looking up at Lurch in what he was wearing, Gin wasn’t sure whether to laugh or not.
Lurch is just standing there stopping Gin from passing who just shrugs and throws a punch at Lurch after. After throwing the cheap shot, Gin goes to throw another punch only this time Lurch dodged the punch and instantly picks Gin up by the throat. Gin’s legs are kicking frantically as Lurch just holds him off the ground by his throat.
JOSEPH BLAZE: Before I deal with you, Gin. What are you wearing Lurch?
LURCH: The lady at the shop said my Drip was out of this world.
JOSEPH BLAZE: Whatever.
The shake of Joseph’s head said it all as Gin was still being held in the air by his throat courtesy of Lurch.
JOSEPH BLAZE: I didn’t forget what you did Gin. I’ve just been biding my time. You chose the wrong people to attack. You’ll now suffer for your sins.
With the nod of the head from Joseph, Lurch slams Gin down on the concrete with a Chokeslam. Joseph stands there and holds his arms out wide as you can see a change in him. His sudden aura of changes from good to evil. The Blaze is now present as Lurch steps backward.
THE BLAZE: PAIN… SUFFERING… GIN!!!
That’s all he says before lifting Gin up and hitting Amazing Grace (Over The Shoulder Backbreaker Lift Into Piledriver) on the concrete. The Blaze looks down at his handy work as Security starts to rush forward. Only they’re stopped in their tracks by a sudden ring of fire surrounding The Blaze, Lurch, and Gin.
THE BLAZE: GIN… SUFFERING… PAIN!!!
Another signal is given to Lurch by The Blaze this time. Lurch even though he was big and scary looking was intimidated by the presence of The Blaze. Lurch gets Gin in a Camel Clutch as The Blaze looks on sadistically.
THE BLAZE: GIN MUST SUFFER PAIN!!!
The Security now has Fire Extinguishers in hand as they frantically try to put the ring of fire out. In the meantime, The Blaze hits a Curb Stomp on Gin driving him face-first into the concrete.
Just as the Security manages to put enough of the ring of fire out to gain entrance, they’re startled as Lurch puts his hand on the shoulder of The Blaze and smoke appears. The Security is blinded by the smoke and can’t see anything until it clears. Once it clears, all they can see is Gin and the ring of fire has disappeared too. The last thing thats heard is a spine-chilling voice saying…
MATCH THREE
CHRISTOPHER GRAVES vs M.A.N.
SINGLES MATCH
MA.N. can be seen licking his chops when Christopher’s music hits…but there is no Christopher. Once again he is announced…but doesn’t come out. The ref and Vera Knight begin to talk before his music is played one more time. With no Graves yet again, the ref begins to count out loud. Once he hits ten he calls for the bell.
VERA KNIGHT: Your winner by count out due to no show…MARC AARON NEWWWWWWTTOOOOOONNNNN!!!
HEADLINER
KURTIS SLAYNE vs TYLER CAGE
SINGLES MATCH
In what could have been easily the match of the night, both men gave it their all. An attempted Self Righteous Suicide corckscrew shooting star press by Kurtis, a ‘just missed’ Bad Attitude curb stomp from Tyler. These two were neck and neck. It was then when Meatball came roaring out of the back. The ref yelled at Meatball as he stood outside the ring, telling him to get into the back. Kurtis Slayne took the opportunity to hit Tyler Cage from behind with a low blow and roll him up. The ref turned just in time and dropped to the mat.

MAIN EVENT
MEATBALL vs JOSEPH BLAZE
SINGLES MATCH
Meatball pretty much just stayed by the ring after his ref distraction and Joseph Blaze came out with Lurch, in what was a monumental moment for the young Project: Underground. These two were a combined nine-and-three and so far was the winningest match-up in this up-start brand’s history. Meatball and Blaze drove both of each other to exhaustion, through power and force. But in the end, Joseph Blaze attempted The New Testament springboard cutter...only to have Meatball catch him and plant him with a Bad Driver jackhammer. Intent on finishing off Blaze, Meatball climbed to the top rope and jumped for the Meatbomb swanton bomb...BUT JOSEPH BLAZE WAS ON HIS FEET AND FINALLY HIT THE NEW TESTAMENT ON THE FALLING MEATBALL!!!

VERA KNIGHT: Your winner by pinball…JOSEPH BLLLLAAAAAZZZEEEEE!!!
The screen shows nothing but static until a blurry figure with his back to the camera begins to be focused on. The background clears up and is plain white, the back of the figure however remains out of focus. The voice is clear.
?: Project Underground can no longer be the poor relation.
?: Project Underground needs direction.
?: Project Underground needs a leader.
?: Project Underground needs to become The Hunter!
The figure turns and the focus is sorted, you are looking at the grinning face of a suited Mark Hunter.
MARK HUNTER: Welcome to my world!!
The scene fades slowly from the grinning face of Hunter as the show comes to an end.
