“Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” - Romans 5:7-8
The smell of death is overpowering, the temperature in the tainted air felt like you were in Antarctica. It’s not clear to see what was the source of the smell or the reason to why it was cold. The place was dark, creepy, and feeling like the setup of a horror movie. The only thing that could be seen as the water vapor in someone’s breath that condenses into lots of tiny droplets of liquid water and ice, so solid water, that you can see in the air as a cloud, similar to fog. If you were to be scientific you’d call the process condensation but there was someone present due to this happening.
“Death. It eventually comes to us all. The hardest deaths are always of the people will love the most.”
It isn’t until the sound of clapping hands happens that the darkness is overcome by the light and the source of the voice is revealed as “The Messenger” Joseph Blaze. The setting of where they were too becomes apparent and it’s extremely creepy. Joseph Blaze is standing in a mortuary. He is surrounded by dead people in body bags as he stands in between them with a sinister grin on his face.
“As you can see, I’m surrounded by dead people. These people could’ve been your parents, child, or even your partner. The deaths of these people have changed others, I’m not exempt from being changed from someone dying either. My amazing Grace, God Bless her soul was the most beautiful woman I’d ever met. She started as my friend and over time we just grew closer and closer together. She motivated me to succeed in life, to stay on the straight and narrow, and showed me what true love was. Grace eventually become my wife but she was much more to me than just my wife. She was my best friend, my soul mate, and my reason to live. If it wasn’t for Grace my beautiful wife I’d have been just another body bag in a morgue.”
Pausing for a moment, Joseph looks around him. There isn’t anything but body bags around him to look at though as he lets out a big sigh.
“There was a big change when my wife Grace died. The reason for me to live had gone and when she was taken from me I just wanted to be with her again. At the time I didn’t realize what I do now. I was full of hatred and wanted revenge. Don’t get me wrong, I found the bloke I wanted to take revenge on. Someone stopped me from doing that though. I was about to pull the trigger and end the man's life when I heard the voice of my Grace. She told me that this wasn’t who I was, that doing this would only turn me into the man she never wanted me to be. It was at that moment the man lunged at me with a knife, only before he’d managed to stab me, the person I now know as The Savior disarmed the man and told him to run.”
Even though he was surrounded by the smell of death and the temperature cold to death too. Joseph Blaze felt warm and happy inside as that big cheesy ass grin appears on his face.
“The man did exactly as he was told as The Savior stood there all in black and with an Anonymous Mask hiding their identity. The Savior took the gun from me and placed a hand on my shoulder. I remember these words like it was just yesterday. Joseph, your worried wife Grace sent me. She told me that I need saving and thankful I got here in time to do that. Just like she saved your life while alive, she has saved your life in death too. You need to follow me, follow my guidance and I’ll make you into the man you were when Grace was alive. You’re a lucky man, Joseph. You were born to send a message to others and I’m going to be the one to make sure that you fulfill that very potential.”
Moving closer to the camera, you could see the light within the eyes of Joseph Blaze, a man whose faith could never be questioned.
“So yes. Death did change me. It turned me into a man full of hatred and sin on a path of revenge. A path that wasn’t meant for me, it was a test to see if I could withstand it and if I was truly who I was born to be. Thanks to my amazing Grace, once again she helped bring out the potential in me and make me who I am today. Someone dying isn’t always a bad thing, these things happen for a reason and it’s up to you to accept that. If you’re unable to accept such a thing you too will be full of hatred and sin. It’s never too late to change who you are. The Savior has set me on the right path and if you join us, you too can be on the right path. Take my opponent Andrea Cross, who lives in fear of reaggravating her knee injury. You join The Savior and I, we can help you overcome that fear. It’ll be another example of death changing someone. The Savior will make sure with time and your commitment that your fear becomes dead and that you’re back on your rightful path of yours. You can ask yourself again and again how I got that information but The Savior has eyes and ears everywhere. I will give you a chance to accept the rightful path Andrea but if you refuse, it won’t be redemption you have but I will consume your soul. I’ll make sure that forgiveness is never an option for you. It’ll be nothing but death for the woman you could’ve been Andrea. That knee injury will be the least of your fears if you reject the path The Savior is offering you.”
All of a sudden, Joseph Blaze throws his arms out wide and looks up to the ceiling. The body bag closest to him sits up and the zips start to undo it all by its self. Joseph hasn’t moved, still standing with his arms held out wide and his head looking up at the ceiling. Eventually, the body bag opens down to the waist as we see The Savior. Somehow he was inside of the body bag and was able to do what we just witnessed.
“Andrea Cross. If you don’t already know, I am The Savior. I am the man who is capable of making your life better or making you wish you were just another body bag here in this morgue. The Messenger himself has told you that if you join is, I can make that injury of yours a fear of the past, a fear that will be no longer. This is true. Joseph here is stronger because of me and you too could become stronger. I can make you into something special like Joseph Blaze. The reason I’ve pulled a few strings to continue to train Joseph is that no one else can fulfill the potential he has as I can. I can do that for you too, only there is one condition, you join me. Allow me to put you on that rightful path, to fulfill your potential as “The Angel” Andrea Cross. If you refuse this offer, I’m sorry but I’ll have to allow Joseph to send a message and make an example of you like the others who have fallen before him. Andrea, you have until the day before the Project Underground show to accept. Just remember that your refusal will lead to a lot of pain for you and that fear of aggravating your knee injury will become a reality thanks to Joseph Blaze.”
The body bag falls back down on the table like dead weight as Joseph Blaze now stands there looking around him. He looks down at one of the body bags and sees it unzipped. Bending down closer to take a look, he sees that the body looks like Andrea Cross now.
“Andrea, take a close look at this!”
The camera zooms in and confirms that the dead body does look like Andrea Cross.
“This is the path that you’re on at the moment. You will end up here sooner than you think. Don’t let this be the path that you get stuck on especially when you’ve had the option to change it. Death is a daunting thing but with The Savior and I beside you, the death of the old Andrea Cross will be absolutely glorious and your rebirth as “The Angel” Andrea Cross will be enlightening. Death isn’t always the end, it can also be a way of starting a new life whether it be in this life time or the next. If you’re too stubborn or stupid to accept the faith, you deserve nothing more than to just burn in hell. That’s just what will be happening to you if you don’t accept the offer to the righteous path you’ve been offered. I could go on about it for ever but you don’t have ever to decide. Just know whether you accept or not, I’m going into the Main Event at Project Undergound to win. Just don’t end up being like Gin, Andrea. That’s a man I’m going to be putting on the CROSS!!!”
Once he’d finished talking, Joseph Blaze signals for the camera to focus back down on the dead body. It no longer looked like Andrea Cross or even The Savior. Still with that cheesy ass grin on his face, Joseph zips up the body bag before heading over and turning the big ass fire on to burn the bodies.
“Not long and these body bags will all be nothing but ashes. It’s okay, it’s all legal here on The Savior’s Compound. You see he runs a Cremation service for those that deserve to burn rather than be buried. Just know Andrea that if you make an enemy out of The Savior and I, this could be where you end up if you’re not too carefully. Let’s face it, Gin has already cemented his place here in one of these body bags. So much so that The Savior himself will be making an appearance at the first Project Underground Pay Per View. I’m going to stand here and enjoy every moment of these sinners burning in this cremation service. Just like eventually I’m going to look forward to Gin being the one to burn to for all of his sins. Unless you want to join Gin in that happening to you Andrea, I’d have a serious think about joining The Savior and I. You wouldn’t like The Savior when they’re angry, believe it or not The Savior has a lot of power in and out of the wrestling business. If The Savior wanted anyone to suffer for their sins, I can promise you now that’s just what will happen. I’ll see you at Project Underground, Andrea and Gin, I’ll be seeing you soon too.”
Walking over to the first body bag of six, Joseph picks it up and throws it into the fire. Not only is the air smelling of death but also the smell of burning flesh.
“They shall sin no more!!!”
The last thing we hear after that as the scene slowly fades out is the spine chilling laughter of Joseph Blaze.
