“And n***as wanna play both sides
It's a red dot, don't get on the wrong red eye
It's a headshot, Damien Kane, Woo, them guys
Fuck around and bury two of them guys”

It’s been a tough couple of days for Nathan O’Connor since The Crowning weekend, to even begin processing what had happened and what had went down afterward as well, it all seemed like everything had began falling apart for him—but with the quick enough arrival of his newborn daughter, Anastasia, it seemed like all of those darkened days were beginning to get brighter. However, the lingering thought of his recent loss has made him become a little bit too uncomfortable heading into his tag team main event match at the next show, though all of that was just too little to even care about right now, this was about himself and his daughter. The moments that they share with one another. Their shared moment, for the meanwhile, was disturbed by a visiting Viktor Bannon arriving into the room of the hospital. The set up was simple– Kit was fast asleep in the bed, Nathan was seated in the corner of the room and with Anastasia resting in his arms. Nathan was slowly – but yet quick enough – to get to his feet upon seeing Viktor entering the room.
“Hey. How are you doing?” the tall Russian questioned. “The child seems very healthy. She is beautiful. Her name is Anastasia, correct?”
“Yeah, named after my mother. Anastasia Rose O’Connor.” Nathan glances down onto his daughter, fast asleep in his arms. “Made me think about just stepping away for a bit and just looking after both Kit and Anastasia, to make sure that they’re safe– you know?” A pause. “—then again, I could simply be delusional about it all. Might be falling for being so overprotective about them that I’d simply do anything to make sure that they’re okay.”
Viktor brings an arm onto Nathan’s shoulder, looking down onto the sleeping child in his arms. “There is no issue about a choice like this– I understand that someone like you cares a whole lot about your family, and even at such a young age, you’d want to make sure that everything goes well. But there is no reason to be taking a step back on anything. You’ve got so much to look forward to—and, also, if this is about who I think it is?” A slight shrug of the shoulders. “I… I don’t think he’s coming back anytime soon. He looked weak– very weak, actually.”
It felt like Nathan needed that reassurance in his life that the demon – or even, the entity himself – had disappeared for good. For the sake of his wife, still slightly traumatised by the near contact made with a switchblade knife that went through her stomach. For the sake of his daughter, not wanting her to be newly involved with anything that Jason had summoned into his life. But– just saying that he was gone wasn’t enough for him to be truly reassured. He had to be dead to be certain of him being gone, and simply being seen as weak just wasn’t enough for him to handle.
“Don’t worry about him, just focus on what’s ahead.”
Nathan shook his head. “Focus on who… those two bum headed pricks who are as thick-headed as pig shit? Nah, man. I could focus on them. But my mind is elsewhere—where it should be. I’ll worry about them another time. It’s just that…” A sigh from Nathan. “Today is not that day to be worrying about others, no matter how much they want to fill my fuckin’ head up with. No matter what they’ve done to me, or no matter where the fuck they are — even if they’re dead or alive.”
“Just make sure that you’re ready for a fight—this is all about our rebirths, after all.” Viktor nodded his head and soon turned to head towards the door of the hospital room, but before he could leave, he turned back around to face Nathan once more. “And you’ve been through – whilst some might not be able to admit it – a rebirth of your own. You’ve become your own person. Out of the shadow of others and now into the limelight of your own. Following in your own footsteps that you’ve now created. The world is yours, my friend. I’ll see you at the compound.”
Viktor soon leaves the hospital room with those words to be soaked in by Nathan, just standing there and letting those comments be processed—and when they do, there’s a smile on his face that begins to grow. He was right about one thing, this was a rebirth of sorts. No longer was he in the shadow of others and being known as the copy and paste of others. Nathan O’Connor has become his own self, his own legacy ready to be built by hand, his own path ready to be created, his world to be envisioned. And it all began with the birth of his daughter.
Just how he wanted it to be intended.

“2021, I ain't taking no prisoner
Last year, y'all fucked up on all the listener
Who went platinum? I call that a visitor
Who the fuck backing 'em? All been falsified
The facts mean this a vaccine, and the game need me to survive
The Elohim, the rebirth
Before you get to the Father, you gotta holla at me first, bitch”

“Whilst some of you got a taste of who I was a couple of weeks ago—I feel as if we’ve gotten off on the wrong foot, and it wasn’t the best of starts for me and wasn’t the best of an introduction to who I am, so how about we take things from the top, shall we?
My name is Nathan O’Connor.
As I’m sure some of you know me as the brother of a very well-known professional wrestler, Jason Long, and have seen me here and there on Fallout shows and even some pay-per-view events. I’ve been here and there – but mainly, I’ve been in Philadelphia training with Omega Wrestling Tomorrow – but finally, I’ve decided to make the move to Project Underground because of some connections that I’ve gotten with the brand… Savannah being one of them connections towards the brand. And for the past year, I’ve been trying to make a name for myself—trying to find a way to have my own spotlight whilst being known as the younger brother to a king and not get into his spotlight as well. As you’ve seen, that’s not been successful after a year.
But that hasn’t stopped me from trying to become my own self. That’s not stopped me from becoming what I’ve dreamed of, and whilst I’ve had a rough beginner’s year in 2021, I plan on making 2022 a different year altogether for myself. Take a look around me and you’ll see the kind of year I look to have. I want to travel around the world and better my skills as a professional wrestler, I want to wrestle more and more so I can become a fuckin’ workhorse. I want to make sure that my daughter is safe and sound at all times, I want to make sure that I look after my wife a whole lot more than I could have ever before. I want what is best for them and the best that can be done is what I’m doing right now. Making sure the future is always bright and there’s always a light along the path.
Though, I can’t have that when I’ve people like the Cage brothers standing across from me, can I?”
A scoff.
“Tyler and Justin Cage— y’all are some of the most dumb as shit fuckers that I’ve ever seen around these fuckin’ parts man. The way I’m seeing y’all act on Twitter, on everywhere that I can see you, it’s amazing how much that there’s these two people who are brothers that act the same and yet are as mediocre as y’all are. Attention seeking, always down the throats of others, trying to be crammed down where y’all just do not belong. It’s amazing that Savannah had found some kind of interest in either of you two when she’s got better people on the roster like… well, there’s me and there’s Viktor. There’s Gin, there’s Joseph Blaze, there’s Virgil Barrack, there’s Scar, there’s Meatball— the list goes on and on and fuckin’ on, lads.
All Attitude, but yet, there’s not a single fuckin’ thing entertaining about the two of you when you break it down from your cliche ‘this city team sucks bad’ or your ‘lack of awareness to just about anything’ and that’s what just makes me not take any of you seriously. I simply cannot take any of you seriously when the two of you are just so…
It’s like talking to a brick wall with you two.
The best I can describe All Attitude.
But that’s fine, that’s all fine, because you take a look at who you’ve gotta face at the main event of Project Underground, lads. Viktor Bannon, an absolute fuckin’ unit that causes havoc everywhere he goes and doesn’t take shit from anyone that breathes the same fuckin’ air as him. He’s built differently and he’s a freak of nature ready to tear through everything and anything. And— he’s got history with y’all, don’t he? He’s got that history from two weeks ago that y’all want payback from. That’s fine, but he ain’t alone.
Myself and Viktor, we’ve both been trained by one of the scariest motherfuckers to have ever wrestled in Michael Bishop– and he taught us that take no bullshit from anyone attitude, an attitude that we’ve both been able to progress onward and make sure that we use it to our own advantage in our matches. And he made sure that we’d keep that same attitude and that same mentality heading into this match. Because this is all about our rebirths, after all. This is all about how we’ve come from rough starts to becoming the stars we are today—and Tyler… Justin… this is where I welcome y’all to what stardom feels like.”
Nathan nods his head, laughing to himself.
“Welcome to the spotlight that I’ve brought for y’all and use it to your own advantage—because of my connections, my family, and everything about me? The spotlight always follows me no matter what. So, I’m giving you a chance. I’m giving you this moment to soak in this fifteen minutes of fame. Let that rebirth be shown, because neither of you have one, whereas myself and Viktor? We’ve both been through some shit, we’ve both been through hell and back, and now?
We’re on the fuckin’ rise. A shame things have to be this way because I’d hate to see how things go after this is all said and done, but I know damn well about one thing, I sure won’t fuckin’ look back once the bell rings and our hands are raised. Keep that in mind, boys. This might be all about your attitudes, but for us, this is just another Tuesday night. Welcome to outer heaven, Cage Brothers.
Keep your eyes on the prize.”
