Therapy
February 26th, 1 PM, Therapist Julie's Office
It has been a long week for M.A.N but he has one of his first mandatory post-incarceration therapy sessions.
M.A.N doesn't believe in therapy and thinks it's money down the drain. DIANA and DANTE are both going to therapy as well and M.A.N has offered to pay for their therapy sessions as well.
M.A.N: "Mr. Newton? Please... just call me Marc."
Therapist Julie: "Okay Marc, how has your week been so far?"
M.A.N: "So far, this is the worst week of my entire life."
Therapist Julie: "Would you care to elaborate?"
M.A.N: "No."
Therapist Julie: "I wish to help you but I can't do that if you won't tell me what's bothering you."
M.A.N: "There's a lot of things that I don't believe in and therapy is one of them. I don't want to be here but certain people thought it was necessary."
Therapist Julie: "If you want to leave, the door is right over there."
M.A.N: "Leaving now would be stupid, I'm here so I might as well get my money's worth."
Therapist Julie: "Go on."
M.A.N: "Therapy is a waste of time, I could be sitting at home and watching television with my gorgeous girlfriend but instead I'm over here talking to a so-called mental health professional that so far hasn't done anything to help me."

M.A.N goes over to the coat rack and pulls out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter from his jacket pocket.
M.A.N: "Am I allowed to smoke in here?"
Therapist Julie: "If it makes you feel any better, sure go ahead."
Therapist Julie: "If it makes you feel any better, sure go ahead."
M.A.N lights one up and puts the pack and the lighter back into his pocket.
M.A.N: "After being released from prison I was expecting my life to change but so far it hasn't changed at all. Before prison I never had any faith in anything, I trusted no one and believed in nothing. I don't want my life to be the same that it was before prison, I want change, I want to be reborn."
Therapist Julie: "Define what it means to you to be reborn."
M.A.N: "Reborn? Being reborn to me means becoming a new and better version of myself. I don't want to be the same fucking person that let his brother die and went to prison because of a fucking maniac with a hydrogen bomb."
M.A.N: "If you think that I can change, you're just as crazy as I am. I can't change, I've tried and tried and it's fucking impossible so please take my money and shove it up your ass."

M.A.N throws his cigarette to the floor and stomps it.

M.A.N grabs a stack of 100 dollar bills and throws it to the therapist before grabbing his jacket and bursting out of the door. On his way out of the building he runs into a Japanese man in a yellow and red costume and clown makeup who he pushes aside.
