One thing about LA weather was that it was always nice for the most part. That is one of the reasons why Lexi enjoyed living there, and not to mention it was more convenient to see her family. Now that she got acquainted with her birth parents, she has been spending more time with them, including her father. She decided to take some time away from the ring and ask him if he would join her on a little camping trip. He agreed, so the two of them gathered around a fire they had made and roasted some marshmallows.
Lexi Gold “I'm glad we've decided to do this. I almost forgot how fun this actually is. How long has it been for you since you done this?”
Elliot Gold: “Two years, I'd say. Your mother is not a big outdoors person, so I would just invite my buddy Frank to come with me.”
She frowned at his response, and placed a hand on his shoulder, feeling a bit guilty they lost out on times like this, but she was glad they could make it up.
Lexi Gold: “Anytime I'm free from my schedule, I'd be more than happy to do this again. Maybe I can convince mom that coming out here ain't so bad unless we end up getting attacked by a bear, then that's a different story.”
He shook his head and rummaged through the cooler and pulled out two water bottles and handed her one. She set hers aside and he chugged his quickly.
Elliot Gold: “I'd rather not think about a bear attack. Let's think about something positive, like you and your wrestling career. I am proud of you, but I honestly wonder how you juggle it all, sweetheart. Does it overwhelm you at times?”
Lexi Gold “Thankfully, no. While it may seem like I'm doing a lot, I feel like it's the right amount for me. I love keeping myself busy, but at the same time, my schedule still allows me to enjoy things such as things. I'm happy with the direction life is taking me, dad.”
He pulled her into a tight hug and rubbed her back, then let go. You could tell something was on his mind, but he didn't know exactly how to say it, nor he didn't wanna ruin the mood, but he felt it was important to share it with her.
Elliot Gold “You remember your grandma Ella, right?”
Lexi Gold “Yes, of course. How is she doing? I was thinking of visiting her at the nursing home soon.”
He sighed sadly and rubbed his hands together.
Elliot Gold “Not too good. They don't think she is going to last too much longer. Old age is catching up to her. She is ninety-three years old, after all.”
Lexi Gold: “Oh wow..”
Elliot Gold:[/color][/b] “I know how much she loved you as if you were her own. She would do anything to make sure you were happy and taken care of, which is why she wanted me to ask you something.”
She swallowed hard. She never expected to hear this, but it was something she had to prepare for when it happened. Her grandma was an important part of her life as a kid and as an adult. I think she knew what he was about to ask her next, but played it off as if she didn't know.
Lexi Gold “What is it?”
Elliot Gold “She wants to include you in her will and would like you to sign a document saying you approve.”
Lexi Gold “I really don't know what to say. I mean, a decision like that is a lot to take in. I may need time to think this over.”
He nodded his head and leaned his head back in his chair, looking up at the night sky, then turned his head to look at her.
Elliot Gold “Okay, but don't wait too long now. We may need an answer sooner rather than later.”
She brushed a strand of hair behind her hair, then looked down at the ground and decided she would change the subject.
Lexi Gold “Can we get something to eat now? I'm pretty hungry.”

“There seems to be a lot of running and ducking going on. Gio and his group are the ones guilty of doing both, but at The Crowning pay-per-view, all that ends for a wannabe fashion icon. Instead of walking down the runway in Paris, Gio you'll be walking into your own personal suffering and along the defeated line. Let's do a bit of reflecting, shall we?”
She nodded her head slowly as she looked at the camera with a serious look on her face.
“Let's take a few steps back and mention the tag match I was involved in. I thought it was going well, but then of course it turned into a cat and mouse game, leading our team to win via count out. It baffles my mind why people who avoid confrontation or fighting are here when there are others like me who welcome it and aren't afraid of facing it head on.”
“That's my purpose for this match at The Crowning. I've been dying to finally get my hands on Giovanni for weeks now. The wait has been excruciating, but in a few weeks I get to do what anyone in my position would do, and that's give him the proper ass kicking he deserved all along. Who is going to be your shield this time, pretty boy? No shield of a person will protect you this time.”
She anxiously paced the room as she continued to speak.
“Your days of being untouched are numbered. When I'm stomping your head into the ground, you will have flashbacks of regret on crossing paths with me and making a mockery of my name. I know the whole being a king and queen is overly done, but I might just feel like one when all is said and done.”
