GIMMICK: Maw Johnson was a promising young female wrester in the late 70s to early 80's who got sent to prison in 1983 for murdering her husband. She was recently released after repaying her debt to society and now seeks to live the dream she was robbed up by her abusive husband and become the champion she was always meant to be. She's even worked her contract into a "Freebirds rule" situation where she can sub in her granddaughter Camilla at any point during the match.

She fakes a heart attack or some other illness/injury to stall and allow her gang to do some shady shit behind ref.

With opponent seated on the last buckle in the corner, she makes choo-choo train noises and then delivers a Bronco Buster that she seems to have way too much fun delivering

4. Freebird!

This is the core of her gimmick. At any point in the match she can implement the "Freebird rule" by verbal or hand gesture cues, thus subbing in her granddaughter Camilla, who is also a wrestler and would be fresh coming in. At this point Camilla becomes the legal competitor in the match until match's end.

She shoves her arm pit into foes face and grinds it in there real good.

Flying Double Foot Stomp from top turn buckle on grounded opponent. Yes it does take her a little bit of time to get to the top tope.

Spits her weighted dentures out into her hand and uses them for extra weight as she blasts opponent with a big haymaker punch to the jaw

Maw was a star rising rapidly in women's pro wrestling during the late 70s into early 80s. She became pregnant in 1982 which derailed her plans, along with her husband who demanded she stop living her dream of wrestling and become a stay at home mom. He became quite abusive very fast. The stress of being a new mom and dealing with the abuse of her husband caused her to snap and she killed him. Maw claimed it was self-defense but the 172 stab wounds in her husband said otherwise and she was sentenced to 38 years in prison. 

While in prison she hit the weights and has been getting swole. She's in great shape for her age. She also made a lot of good friends and bad enemies. She became the cell block leader of Block A and was quite ruthless due to her ability to beat the shit out of someone due to her fighting/wrestling ability. She also made a lot of connections with inmates who came and went, whom she's called upon since getting out of prison in 2020. 

Maw's daughter, Lara, was less than 1 year old when Maw was sent to prison, so she was sent to her aunt. who raised her good and always painted Maw in a good light. Despite Maw being in prison, she was a big part of Lara's life and was instrumental in herding Lara toward professional wrestling. So, like Maw, Lara got into professional wrestling and fell in love with it. Lara was only in competition for a few years but became quite decent at it but ultimately left it behind when in 1998 she gave birth to her only child, Camilla. 

Lara dedicated her life to making sure Camilla had stability and worked herself to death almost literally. Lara made sure that Maw was a important part of Camilla's life too despite Maw being behind bars. When Camilla started expressing interest in becoming a professional wrestler like her granny and momma, they both happily supported her and Lara trained her. Sadly, in 2019, just a year before Maw was released from prison, Lara passed away in an automobile accident. 

This shook Camilla obviously. Thankfully when Maw was released she was able to provide strength and stability to their shattered world. Maw used connections she made while in prison to help get Camilla up and going again and to also find them a way into the big leagues of professional wrestling.

They were rejected at every turn by promotions, except one. Project: Honor was willing to give them a shot. With the help of a shady inmate turned lawyer Maw was able to hoo-doo her contract so that it fell under the "Freebird Rule". This clause means that at any point in a match, Maw can verbally or by specific hand gesture implement the "Freebird Rule" which allows Camilla to take her place aka Camilla gets substituted in for Maw. Once this happens, Camilla becomes the legal participant of the match until the match ends. Regardless if Camilla wins or not after the Freebird Rule is activated, the win or loss goes on Maw Johnson's win/loss record.



NOTE TO MATCH WRITERS: You do not have to use the Freebird Rule if you don't want to. Win or lose, Maw can be written to go the distance, however please try to incorporate it when possible. This contract is mainly for when a match writer wants to write the Freebird Rule taking effect or for opponents RP'ing against me.
