JANUARY 21ST, 2022
Something about this just felt right.
There was just something about being the brand new Ascension Champion that just felt right within the soul of Jason Long- it might have been the hatred that boiled over for months against someone like Robi Sorrenson before she was ultimately fired from the company over some racist remarks against Savannah that made Jason think it felt right, or maybe it had been the fact that after months of trying so hard to become The King again and trying so hard to reclaim the name -- or even the throne that he had left behind when he lost the Prime Championship to Havoc -- before finally finding himself once again as the record breaker, the history maker, the first-ever Project: Honor Triple Crown Champion. Hell, just making True Society suffer might have made this victory of his more worth it than ever before. Though Jason hasn't got much recollection of the match itself, all he could remember were those few seconds after the match where True Society was defeated and remembering that what he held in his hands was the newest championship to his collection. Everything after that had faded to black just like it's always felt like whenever the entity had taken over. He might not have control over himself there and then, but a goal was succeeded and the goal was done, True Society was defeated and knowing what was awaiting them at the next show-- True Society was about to form the cracks that'll break them.
There was a weird vibe going around the home as Jason had woken up, finally finding himself inside of his own body after what was thought to have been completely taken over by the entity- there seemed to have been no trace of the entity being near, no voice inside of his head telling him to do anything, and nothing around the penthouse home seemingly wrecked around the place- but it was very much quiet. Might have been too quiet around the home but it wasn't something that Jason had questioned at all. As he grabbed a bottle of cold water from the fridge, taking a sip from the bottle and looking around the home, the realisation soon kicked in- Savannah hadn't been seen anywhere, hell, he had no recollection of seeing her when he had awoken this morning. Jason began looking around the home in the hopes of finding her somewhere – just anywhere – but there was no sign of her around in any room within the penthouse home. Though he might seem to have been a little bit concerned about the whole disappearance, he’s beginning to chalk it up to something else– something harmless, like another episode of her sleepwalking. She’s had many moments like that where she’d disappear in the middle of the night, this is what all of this could’ve been.
Jason went to the front door of the home and placed his hand on the handle to the door– and that’s when he came to the realisation of something. The door was locked, and whilst that might seem normal to any other day, he didn’t lock the door last night. He came home alone. Savannah had come and gone from the home before he even arrived as far as he remembered, at least, that’s what he thought had happened. Jason began to search the home again, checking every single closed space that there is in the hopes that Savannah is just hiding on him. But there’s no sign of her anywhere, there’s not a single sight of her around the place, there had to have been something– she couldn’t have just disappeared into thin air like this– there’s no way that she’d ever do this to him. Not right now. Not in this exact moment of time. In a moment of time when he needed her the most, this isn’t right of her to do so. This isn’t right of her to be like this. This cannot be happening right now. This can’t—
…fuck.
As he walked into the master bedroom of the home, he looked towards his side of the bed and noticed a note left on the locker right beside the bed, and already– he feared the worst. The marriage, the future, everything that they had planned out? All that he could ever think about inside of his ill-minded head? That note could mean the end of it all, and hell, he’s afraid to even come close to it in case the worst that he feared became the truth. But he had to, he had to make sure, he needed the confirmation of what he feared the most. Jason had stepped closer and closer to the locker beside his bed and looked down at the letter, the note, whatever the fuck that it was called—but one thing that brought a tear to his eye was seeing his name on the sheet of paper with the words “PLEASE READ” right underneath it. As he had opened up the sheet of paper and was about to begin reading, something had fallen out of the sheet of paper– looking down onto the floor, right where his foot was, rested the engagement ring that Jason had gotten Savannah for Christmas to truly confirm their engagement. The tears were beginning to build up in the eyes of Jason but he held them in until he began reading through the note.
Those tears were falling down onto the page and beginning to ruin the sheet of paper and Jason… just continued to read through it, he continued to read and read and read– until he got to the end. There were a few words that caught his eye, a term that was used that he couldn’t help but to read over and over again, trying to figure out what it meant. I did what I needed to do… but what had she done that she needed to do? What was it that she did that would make sense later on down the line? What could she have done that made her do any of this? Was any of this necessary to simply end the engagement before it could truly even lift off like such? This wasn’t what was meant to happen, this wasn’t what was meant to go down, not like this—and within a split second, it all clicked inside of his mind. If he had feared the worst before, this was just on a higher level of fear. Jason reached over for his phone and began to scroll through Twitter, and within an instant he was hit with clip after clip after clip of the moment he truly feared the worst. From images, to video clips, to GIFs of the moment that the mask came off and underneath it was Savannah Sunshine. The newest member to True Society. And the more that he continued to scroll through, the more he continued to read through the reactions that came from the event– he saw the moment the entity struck, striking right at the heart of Jason Long, just like he has been trying to do for the past month or more. One punt kick right to the head. The pinfall. The end. And all that Jason can do right now is just watch in horror, knowing that final blow was the last he’s technically ever seen Savannah again.
The end of the engagement, the end of a friendship and a relationship all rolled up into one, and knowing that whatever has cracked inside of Savannah’s mind has made her become the person that she has turned into. Making a deal with the devil himself. The entity might have been too much for her, but now, Jason has a death warrant for every single member of True Society to hand out– including her. As much as it pained him to realise. Taking a seat on the side of the bed and placing the note down right beside him, the tears finally came out and he was bawling. The pain was immeasurable and the pain was absolutely killing him from the inside. The knife being put right into his back, twisted, and then just being lodged into his back some more for extra effect, it was truly about to kill him with a broken heart. The entity had watched from a distance, seeing the pain and suffering that Jason was in and looking regretful. For the first time in forever, there was a look of emotion on the entity’s face as he watched from the door of the bedroom, but he didn’t bother to disturb Jason at a time like this– opting to walk out of the room and leaving him to let everything sink in. But as he sat there, his face began to distort– twisting to an out of shape and off-proportion face, beginning to grin largely, and now laughing. A screech comes from ‘Jason’ as his body begins to convulse, but soon enough, he jumps off of the bed and is brought back to normal.
A look of complete horror on his face as he’s panting heavily, trying to figure out what was happening. Jason grabs onto the engagement ring and runs out of the room, shutting the door behind him and moving on from whatever that was that just happened to him.

LONDON, ENGLAND — EARTH VI
JANUARY 23RD, 2022
JANUARY 23RD, 2022
The very slow fade in reveals the opening camera shot, with that additional VHS-like feel to the feed as everything is static-y and choppy in some places, a view from the top of a tower building through it’s windows and showing the city of London, England– though, this wasn’t just your normal looking view of London, however, this felt a little bit different. London seemed to have been a little bit more futuristic, there’s a few minor changes on the landscape but everything seems– not so from the world we’re used to seeing. That’s because the London we’re seeing right now wasn’t from our usual world, no, this was Earth VI. The dimension that the entity had came through, the world that was formed in, this was his world – a world that was once ruined by a post-apocalyptic war that almost tore down the entire world in half before the entity put an end to the madness and caused a nuclear explosion to set off in key areas around this world. This world once knew pain, but all of it was fixed in Jason’s efforts to put an end to the entity’s plans over a year ago– and since then, it’s become something that the entity doesn’t even recognise. It’s been three years since that explosion happened on this world and ever since– it’s brought great pain right into the heart of the entity, knowing all of his hard work was undone, knowing that the whole Fourth World War was simply ended by using the realms to good use, and knowing that the sacrifices he made were pointless.
As the entity – or as he’s known in this world as it’s own Jason Long – walks into the shot and looks out from the window, down onto the city of London, there’s a sharp deep breath taken as he soaks in the new world that he’s witnessing for the first time. To think that he walked along these streets and walked through them with his head held high knowing that he stopped the war that almost crumbled the whole world to it’s knees, with a bit of confidence and swagger in his step as he walked through the streets of London, seems so unrealistic when you compare a vision inside of Jason’s head to what is right in front of him as of this very moment. The changes were as clear as day but Jason– he didn’t want to accept any of this to be true. His world, all of the work it took to make this all of his, has been put on a reset and the most painful part of it all?
His partner, and his child, are still dead.
If the original Jason could have brought almost all of them back, then why couldn’t he bring those two back as well? Why did they have to suffer the fate that they took when they first died? It almost felt like a punishment to himself for doing what he did, and whilst it might seem understandable, one has to come to the realisation that he—well, he didn’t have much of a choice. And that’s what most people seem to know him for, being a monster– to some extent, he is. But again, he had no choice. His hand was forced to make a tough decision and he had to do what was right. Jason was backed into a corner of saving his loved ones and letting a war continue or saving the world and purposely killing twenty-five percent of the world's population. A decision he’s come to regret and a decision he’ll never forget. Things could’ve been different if he just chose to let the world suffer until he found a better plan for himself and for the war to come to an end that wasn’t so sacrificial, but in the heat of the moment, it was the right thing to do.
Jason took another sharp deep exhale before turning around and walking away from the window, bringing his focus down onto the camera that was recording him and with a snarling look resting along his face, a light bite down onto his bottom lip and shaking his head from side to side before turning back around to head closer towards the window, giving himself one final glance out to the streets of London before he could turn right back around once more and come a little bit closer to the camera, but not by too much. There’s no smile or anything like that, a blank expression rested along his face as he looked down onto the camera recording, as he stopped only a few short feet away from it and took one final short deep exhale, letting silence fill the room before he could begin to speak.
“The world is in the palm of these hands of mine. To be standing at the top of the world– sometimes it feels nice, but other times, you’re not sure how things will look from all the way up there, and that’s the worrying thing about all of this for me, you know? It’s never been my true intention to be standing here before you, looking down onto a camera that’s recording me, and tell you how I gained a championship before I was able to burn True Society to ashes and dust like I had promised. And whilst having a championship would feel nice… it’s not what I wanted, it’s not what I had wished for, and that’s a fuckin’ problem for me because it should’ve been the end of True Society as a whole, it should’ve been their true fuckin’ demise but— when you’ve got teammates who’re too focused on gaining championships and just putting a beating down onto these bozos, your hand has to be dealed with, and my hand was just to murder and maim; so it was only fitting that the one person that I took the heaviest strike to? Just so happened to have been their newest member, Savannah Sunshine. Whilst it all felt so good to take my foot and kick her fuckin’ head clean off? It wasn’t enough, and it felt like– it felt like I was being held back, and we wouldn’t want that to be happening anymore than it should be, isn’t that right? I shouldn’t be held back because of someone’s inner feelings towards one person– the one person they could have trusted and yet, for some fuckin’ reason, they’ve turned their back on those they’ve loved so they could be another pawn to the system— you know, the same thing they didn’t want to be anymore?
Seems much like bait, but I’d let them be who they want to be, they’re not my fuckin’ problem. Well, they are now considering they’ve inserted themselves into the group that I've become the mercenary to hunt down one by one and make them lambs to the slaughter. Though, it seems like plans are always up in the air when made, because now I’ve a secondary mission to complete, and one that involves this championship that I’ve gained into my own possession. The Project: Honor Ascension Championship, a truly fuckin’ cursed title considering some of the people that have once held that wretched belt before. Hell, take a look at the former champion themselves— a racist piece of shit, someone that was just handed win after win after fuckin’ win, because this championship was given to those who are up and coming and given to the lesser knowns on that roster. Whilst that was it’s intention for the past year, I feel as if that meaning has lost it’s touch with the arrival of the Gatekeeper Championship, and the goal that the Ascension Championship needs to be revitalised. Revamped. Given that meaning that it so desperately needed. And whilst this is only secondary in my mission to hunt and kill, I feel as if I have to bring a new meaning to this championship and set the bar high for it. Give it something to remember it by, give it something that’ll make people fight for it and give it something that’ll make others want to kill for this championship.
Because that’s what we all want to achieve, right? That’s what it’ll take to accomplish something, right? To murder for a chance at becoming a holder of a new crown, a new shining crown that’ll finally mean something to those that’ll try to scratch and claw their way to this championship, am I wrong in saying that or am I right? Because I tend to believe that I’m absolutely right in saying that. This championship does need a new meaning and as it’s true first and real champion, it’s about time I set that bar high. So, I made sure that my first defence– unlike the others that’ve come along and made short work of those without any potential to even put their hands up and fight like actual people– is as difficult as they’ve come. Having the likes of Michael Bishop, Savannah Sunshine, Alyssa Grace, and Julius Foulweather all come together and try to pry this championship from my hands… or, more so, from as far up in the air as we could reach. Making those who want to become the real leader of this new revolution for the Ascension Championship to climb all the way up to heaven and those who do fail—
Well, they’ll fall down to the darkest pits of hell below, won't they?”
Jason couldn’t help but smile at that final comment, knowing the dangers of what this ‘Stairway to Heaven’ match could bring and what risks need to be taken when entering such a dangerous match like this one. There’s a moment of silence that once again fills the room as he reaches down, out of the camera shot, and picks up the freshly-made new Project: Honor Ascension Championship. Still keeping the same design but the strap is of a very dark purple shade, Jason holds the championship up to his head height and glances at the championship, looking it up and down before bringing his focus back down onto the camera.
“Now, I didn’t choose these four out of randomness and told them to ‘chuck the four of you into the match, hell, to make it even spicier– two of you have to qualify to get into this match’. No, there are reasons for this. I’ve picked those out of Jason’s life that he’s come to trust the most, those that he cares more than he cares for himself, and then picking the one person from this brand that he’s become moderately caring of– or used to, considering how he seems to have been right now. I’ve chosen the four of you because there’s a point needed to be proven that the Jason Long you’ve all known to love, care for, and adore for all of eternity— he’s dead. Taken his last breath and has been left for dead in some street, in this world– of course, but what do you see before you? The ‘entity’ that you’ve all come to know in these last few weeks. The one that Savannah TRIED to run away from. The one that Alyssa TRIED to get out of her head these few weeks. The one that Michael TRIED to get Jason to be freed from. And the one that Foulweather TRIED HIS FUCKIN’ BEST to make any sense of inside of that ill-minded head of his. I chose to attack those who I’ve known Jason to care for the most in such a situation and to be real with you, I think – in the context of gaining a new meaning for what this Ascension Championship is here to continue on representing – I have picked out the right kind of field for this mission.
But I know all of you – especially the likes of Sunshine, Grace, and Bishop – are looking to cause severe pain and suffering for me, for everything that I’ve done to your poor Jason that you’ve all once loved in some capacity.
Whilst I do respect the commitment to bring pain and suffering to me in the form of whatever you hit me with, you’ve needed to remember that I’ve shared the same thoughts as Jason Long. I’ve shared the same memories with that man and, truthfully speaking, I know every single thing about you that you’d never ever think I’d know. It’s how I was able to use the memories of Jason to cripple people with things that not even anyone knew at the time– or ever, to be more precise. I mean, that’s what happened to Alyssa Grace. Took those memories of Jason that I used to get into her emotions and now look at her, she was too afraid to even share the ring with me– wondering what more I could have told her and how it’d damage her heavily. I told Savannah that she’s always been someone that’s wanted change but never went out of her way to make sure it happened, and in that moment, I crippled her enough to where she couldn’t move. Now, look at her, making baby steps in taking the changes necessary. Bishop hasn’t crossed paths with me yet, neither has Foulweather, but they’d understand how that feeling goes– even if they’d rather play into the tough guy act and could never ever be affected by anything of the sort. That’s the thing with me, you expect the same thing as you’d expect from Jason – or more so, you expect the same thing as what I tell you, which is never the truth and always just some way of luring any of you to use that against me – that it becomes way too easy to just bounce right over you and take all of that ‘advantage’ you thought you had and just push you off the edge of the world, let you fall into the deep void of nothingness below.”
A lighthearted chuckle soon came from the mercenary before a large grin grew along his face as he did so. Jason began to crouch down and bring himself level to level with the camera recording him, the static quickly changing feeds to a more distorted face of Jason Long with blacked out hollow eyes before the feed changes back to how it once was beforehand.
“Now, out of everyone in this match— there’s only been one person I’ve had my very keen eye on this whole time, been watching him like a hawk and in the hopes of finding out if he can tap into this whole thing about me being the man in possession of the body of his closest friend– and for a man like him, he’s got more brawn than brains. For a man like him, where he relies heavily on his striking power and his skill to wrestle just about anyone to the ground with ease– he doesn’t make up for it in the smartness department, always lacking one step behind and always finding himself to be that little bit slower than usual. Now, that could come down to the fact that the lightning that he got struck with a few months ago has fried any kind of intelligence that he had inside of that head of his, or truly he does lack in that department all of the time, but nevertheless– it’s clear to say that someone like him doesn’t have the wits to think right. Though, not surprising when it’s someone like him, a man who thinks that he’s tough as shit and can act tough enough to have this super strength but deep down inside, he’s weak and he’s fragile. A man like him, he’s not worried about others because he’s too fragile to care for others, he’s got to focus on himself because he’s unsure about any kind of attack sent his way, he’s too weary on what could be done to him than others, and whilst he stands there being alone– he makes those quick realisations that he’s helpless, defenceless, and out of luck– out of time.
And whilst those words sink in, Bishop, let me ask you about your wife. Rebecca is her name, right? Rebecca Bishop, and she’s been a few months pregnant now at this stage, correct? Here’s the thing about me that I feel as if I need to get through that thick-headed skull of yours for your own sake. Do you realise what facing me does to people, what drive it can bring to people, how self-destructive it can make them, how much it’ll hurt them in the process, and in that same process, hurt others around them as well? You’ve seen with your own eyes, your closest friends, have all become a little bit out of control when they’ve come in contact with me. Take a look at Savannah, see how she’s acting up? Have you ever heard about how much she hates me? Have you ever listened to her describe how much she despises me? Now, think of Jason– I’m sure he’s told you so much about me, told you everything that you need to know about it all, told you what kind of danger everyone’s in and told all these fabricated lies about me. Oh, I am sure he’s gone into great detail about how much he hates me, he despises me, and how much he makes him filled with anger.
Savannah is filled with hatred for everyone, filled with anger, and is taking it out on everyone but the true threat themselves. Jason has been running around like a headless chicken until I’m able to gain control, and even when I do the right thing for him, he’s setting his mind on being so destructive that it’s ruining relationships and friendships. Just think for a second, someone like you, and after encountering me– you’ve got to go home to your loving pregnant wife, telling her how much you love her, and then– all of a sudden, that anger fills you up and when you finally become destructive? Who’ll be there for you to take it out on? Are you going to hit the gym or hit your—
Well, you know who.
Because, let’s face it– that’ll make sense considering your look. The man who’s become so frustrated at being second best all of the time finally takes out his anger on his pregnant wife, putting his child at risk and ultimately putting an end to that child’s life, and now finds himself in this feeling of regret for everything that he had done. Feeling like he hadn’t done enough in the ring and then feeling sorry for the loss of his child. I’m already seeing that, Bishop, I’m already seeing the future for you. And if you cross that path with me, it’ll come sooner than you’d expect it to be. It’ll be so fun watching the father and the godmother find themselves in a chaotic insane state that they’ll blame both of you for it.”
A pause.
“And speaking of the godmother herself, Savannah. You poor thing, how easily it is to manipulate your mind. How very fuckin’ easy it is to make you believe in just about anything that you’ve ever wanted to hear, I could whisper those sweet nothings into that ear of yours and you’d believe me— oh, whoops, I might have already done that. Maybe not now, but in the future, the ‘entity’ that you’ve slowly fallen for? Oh, he’s playing a very, very devious game with your heart. Oh, he’s playing a very, very dangerous game with your emotions. He’s playing you like a fuckin’ fiddle and you’re falling head over heels for him, aren’t you? You’re falling right down a love tunnel for that man and all you could think about is simply: it’s just Jason… he can’t harm me… not now, until we can get him back.
When you sleep with that man every single night, Savannah, are you thinking of your Jason or are you thinking of the entity that you’ve slowly come head over heels for because he began playing soft and you began to think you understood him for who he was and not the monster everyone told you about? Are you ever thinking of your Jason or are you thinking of ditching him, moving on with the entity that you’ve used to hate, and purposely marrying into such an evil presence? Are you willing to do all of that and ditch your fiance that’s stuck somewhere in the realms, his body beginning to rot away to nothing but shreds of flesh and bones? I’m sure the thought never clicked into your head until now, I’m sure whatever is going on inside of your head is already denying every single thing but every single night you spend with that man, and you get your panties down around your ankles for the entity, is just proving the point to be right.
You’re wrapped around the finger of something evil and now you won’t admit to it, because you promised those in True Society that you’d move on from him, and here you are making those mistakes that people warned you about. There are those that’s throwing concern for you and your safety and you’re not listening.
Here’s the question for you, Savannah… When will you come to your senses? That everything that’s ever been said to you has been nothing short of a lie, that everything that’s ever been promised to you is nothing short of false hope so you could feel that little bit better, and everything that you’ve dreamed of? It all becomes your very own personal nightmare. True Society is leading you on to a greater defeat than you had hoped, I – in the future – am going to lead you down a very dark path that’ll finally break you down and make you feel that pain and suffering that twenty-five percent of the population of this world has felt beforehand. And there’s only one person to blame for it, there’s only one real person to blame here and that’s you. Savannah, you keep falling for these baits. You keep falling for everything. When are you going to come to your senses that everything that’s been done is because of you and only you because the more you keep pretending it’s not– the more people get hurt, the more people suffer, and the more that people will live in fuckin’ fear. This is because of you, no matter however you want to write the narrative, and it’s because of you that you’ll crumble each and every single time that you want to rise like a phoenix and become someone that you just are not.”
Jason takes a deep breath, finally releasing all of the anger and the tension within him, and finally calming himself down. His eyes closed for a moment and within a blink, his eyes went from normal– to white– to even black– and then back to normal again.
“And whilst I’ve not spoken about Alyssa Grace or Julius Foulweather– you’ll understand that it’s not about wanting to berate you with words constantly over and over again, it’s because I’d rather not be repeating myself over and over again. What would’ve been the point of me getting all hot-headed with you two when you’ve heard it before time and time again? There’s no point at all, and to you two, I hope you keep yourselves in one piece. I’d love to see both of you in that main event, but only one of you can survive it, and I have my choices of who I’d want in there. But only time will tell, I guess. And as for the rest of you, to Savannah and Michael, I hope that you realise that this is only the beginning for me— you see, this brand new body that you see before you right now? Oh, I’m only beginning to tap into the potential that this can do. Whilst I know you’re all going to be wanting to beat me down and put a world of pain onto me, just think of one thing. I’m Jason fuckin’ Long– the only Jason Long that there is right now.
And I? Well, I am your Project: Honor Ascension Champion.
The man that has begun to hold a new kind of lineage to this championship, the man that’ll carry this championship with a brand new message, and the man that’ll bring forth a new era for not only this championship but for the whole brand of Fallout, the company, and the world. Remember the name of the show, the twentieth episode of Fallout with the subtitle of: New Immortality, and we all know that is very, very fuckin’ imminent of finally coming true. The more you want to deny it, the quicker it’ll hit and the quicker it’ll come true. Your world shall know what it means to lose everything. Your world will know what it means to live in constant fear of the unknown. So please, let us all rejoice before the rebirth of your world and mine coming together once and for all. Let us rejoice and bring forth what will be ours to divulge in.
Long Live New Immortality.
Long Live The Ascension Champion.
Long Live The King.”
Cut to black.
