Following the first Project Underground show last week, and following his first win, Christopher Graves was in a blissed mindset. Most people would be at the strip club surrounded by titties or at the bar getting drunk. Christopher had other plans. He went back to his mother's bedside and was sat beside her, his hand on top of hers.
Graves: "Hey mom… it's Chris again. Just letting you know that um.. well I did it. I won my debut match, mom. I'm getting closer and closer to making the money for your surgery and to make sure you keep the trailer. I have another match next week against Joseph Blaze. I know you can't talk, but I hope you can hear me, and I hope you pray for me mom. I have to go train for this match. I love you mom. I'll be back for Christmas, I promise."
He kisses his mom on her forehead before leaving the room, closing the door behind him. He has to prepare for Jason Blaze. He knows he has to fight for his life, because if Joseph wants, Graves won't have his life any much longer. Now, he has to get on the camera and get ready to either bring the Christmas spirit, or get ready to burn in Hell.

Back outside in the backyard, Christopher Graves sets up his recorder on the table. He dusts himself off and sits on a folding chair, crossing his arms as he starts his promo.
Graves: "Hi Joseph. I know you're not really a Jolly person, but allow me to share you a story, and trust me cause this will lead to my point of this little segment. So, it was the last Christmas I had with both my mother and father here. I was ten years old and it was leading to Christmas. I wanted the Jordan Flight 23, so they both told me that I had to pass my classes, do my chores without being asked until Christmas. That I had to earn it. So, I busted my ass at school to stay at A grades, and I made sure the grass was mowed, dishes were done, floor mopped, everything. Weeks and weeks of doing everything I can, all paid for when I woke up that Christmas morning. It was six in the morning, I ran out of my room and saw the presents. I took off running to my parents door, opened that fucker up and jumped on their bed. Them both waking up and me dragging their asses out of bed and to the living room. I opened presents after presents, getting some toys and jeans and shirts. I thought it was all over, and no shoes. I wondered what I did wrong during all that, that I failed. My parents must have caught a glimpse of that moment, because my father got up and headed to the closet where he opened the door and pulled a wrapped gift from the top shelf and handed it to me. I opened the present and it was the shoes I asked for. My mother looked at me and said "that's what happens when you earn something son. It feels so much better.". And she was right."
"Joseph it must be like Christmas every time I'm in that ring because I go to earn my wins. If I was to cheat my way, or not earn my ways, then I shouldn't call myself the nickname I do that pushes me to prove true, the G.O.A.T. And for this match, I'm going to have to earn it, because what can you do to a man who really doesn't feel pain? A man who hurts for the greater good he claims stakes in?" Graves rubs his forearm, staring at the table that's underneath his nose. He chuckles a bit to himself before speaking. "Yeah, what can I do? Maybe I should ask Gin Kuromiya what it takes to beat you. It seems dropping you on your face did the job so maybe that's what I will need to do. Or maybe fight your God with mine. You believe your God wants you to slay down everyone, but our God wants us to fight the evil. And with our match coming six days before his birthday, I'm going to slay you in his name. By the Grace of God, Christopher Graves will come raining down all his pain and sorrow that I hold inside my body onto you. I will rain out your fire and create one that burns your core to ash."
Christopher pushes up from his seat, causing his chair to fold up and collapse.
Graves: "You shared from Hebrews 5:9, allow me to share from GALATIANS 5:13. We were made to be free, but do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather serve another humbly in love. I'm going to humbly beat you and do this in my God's name. I'm going to humbly beat you in my father's name. And I'm going to humbly beat you in the name of my mother. See you in PA "Messenger".

Christopher walks over and turns off the recorder. He brings it inside and to the computer. He plugs the USB into the computer and uploads the video, sending it off. He breathes out uneasy as he knows this match isn't going to be as easy as XERTOS was, but he knew if he wins, he earned it.
