Despite the tragic news at the end of the show, the post-event press conference is proceeding as originally scheduled. To kick things off, the General Manager of Proving Ground, Indy Darling, has approached the podium…

INDY DARLING: Before we get started, I just want to say that I will not be taking any questions regarding the news about Rock Johnson. All I can say on that matter, is that I’m deeply saddened by what’s happened and my thoughts are with his loved ones at this time. With that being said, we promised to reveal the mystery box contents, and aside from that I’m not prepared to answer any questions.

Indy pauses as he produces a piece of paper with a list of the evening’s winners printed on it.

INDY DARLING: To start with, our Director of Weapons Placement, Chad Bundy, filled a few of the winning boxes with some items from the Project: Honor Warehouse. While I congratulate those competitors on earning a victory in the match, I give my sincere condolences on their questionable Christmas presents. Those winners include: DOUGLAS CRANE earning a free photo shoot with the Mall of America’s Santa Clause, KYLE VALENTINE with an all-expenses paid trip for two to Warner Brothers Studio in Burbank, California, LIL’ PETEY with...oh god...an autographed picture of Rock Johnson, MYOJIN with a...rare tee shirt from Project:HonorShop.com...damn it, Bundy…HAVOC with the very knife that stabbed Jason Long...for fuck’s sake…and finally PERCIVAL BURQUE earning the right to be Proving Ground’s General Manager for...one...night...only. Seriously?

Indy shakes his head in disbelief before continuing on with his list.

INDY DARLING: In addition to those prizes, several superstars were able to win championship opportunities, each of which will be awarded at an event of management’s choosing. Those include; LEEANN MORGAN with a shot at the Gatekeeper Championship, SLADE CASTLE with a Tag Team Title opportunity with the partner of his choosing, JOHNNY LEVY with an opportunity at the Warrior Rising Championship, CASANOVA ENGLISH earning an X-Factor Title shot, and finally, ARATA ASAKURA with an opportunity at the Grand Championship.

As Indy completes the list of future championship contenders, he reaches the final two names on the list.

INDY DARLING: Last but not least, I want to say that Syndicate does not seem to have suffered any serious injuries despite the fall that he took and that he will be able to claim his earned reward. With that, SYNDICATE has earned the right to choose any opponent on the Project: Honor roster in any type of match that he chooses. Of course this will have to be done in conjunction with either the management of Proving Ground or Fallout. Lastly, ARCHIMEDES J. MANSON retrieved the final prize box of the night, earning him the right to DUPLICATE any one of the prizes earned by his fellow competitors earlier in the evening. That concludes the final list of Black Friday winners, thank you all for your time.

Despite the reporters lighting up with various questions, mostly about Rock Johnson, Indy has no more to say as he steps away from the podium and heads backstage.

Ratman hobbled over the package he was given when he pinned Larry, walks into the press room. Cameras flash as multiple reporters begin all speaking at once most of which are trying to get a scoop on what Ratman may have planned for his GM for a day position. Ratman looks around in disbelief. His disbelief slowly turns to excitement as he approaches the stand.

Ratman: Hello everyone! It is I! Ratman! Wrestling Supreme!

Ratman holds his arms up in what we can only presume he thinks is in epic fashion.

Ratman: I understand you are all excited to be friends with Ratman now that he will be the Manager of Genitals but...

A reporter speaks up from the crowd informing Ratman he's General Manager. Ratman, begins to look at his box then back to the reporter.

Ratman: Yes! That is obviously what I meant! What even is a Manager of Genitals, *hehehe...*

As Ratman laughs nervously, the reporters continue to all talk over each other trying to get any information they can from him.

Ratman: Well, I can't stay and chat for long, I have made plans with a new friend of mine as you may have all seen! He's an excellent cook, and has a top tier athletes body! What more can you ask for in a friend? Let's not get sidetracked now, I suppose I have to think about what I'm going to do? What does being GM for a day entail?

Ratman shoots an inquisitive look at his box. A member of staff comes up and whispers into Ratman's ear. Ratman responds quietly to the man even though the mic can still pick up his voice.

Ratman: What? The box is more of a metaphor? It's empty? Everyone can hear what I'm saying? I see...

Ratman looks back to the crowd and stares off into the distance.

Ratman: I will have to think on what I shall do, now that I know what my prize is... Wait! What is that!

Ratman points to the far back wall. Everyone turns to see there is nothing there as A scuffle is heard. When they turn back, they see a brief glimpse as Ratman rushes out the exit door.

Slade walks into the press conference room to a chorus of noises and cracks his neck. He's clearly beaten to all hell after the the last couple days he's had. His hands are scarred and he is covered in sweat and dried blood. His mind seems to be gone at the moment. Slade looks to the crowd and approaches the microphone stand.

Slade Castle: I won't be taking questions, I'll make an announcement regarding my tag title shot and partner at a later date. As for now, I only have one thing to say.

Slade locks eyes with the camera. 

Slade Castle: Julius... Petey... You won't know what's comin for you. 

Slade makes his way out of the room as the cameras and Press begin to get loud as the reporters hope for more comments.

After the most recent person has finished speaking at the post-event press conference, two crewmembers step out from backstage. Rather than the usual Project: Honor shirts worn by the staff, they have black shirts with giant gold letters that read 'BIG LEVY PRODUCTIONS'; coincidentally, the name of Johnny Levy's production company.

And yes, he DOES plan on suing that OTHER group.

Regardless of pending legal action, the two employees begin to rig up something on either side of the podium, to the confused mumbles of countless journalists within the crowd. One can't really be sure what they're setting up, as their work is partially obscured from view. Their job finished, they start to shoo the members of the press a bit further back from the stage.

The reason why is evident as soon as SUPERSTAR JOHNNY LEVY (complete with a bandage wrapped around his wounded head) makes his appearance behind the podium; two giant bursts of pyrotechnics light up the rather cramped room, with what is likely thousands of dollars in fireworks and noisemakers filling the press conference with smoke and chaos, as journalists rush away from the gouts of flame and sparks.

As both the BIG LEVY PRODUCTIONS crewmembers AND several workers from Project: Honor rush forward with fire extinguishers to put out a few small, contained fires caused by the completely over-the-top and, frankly, unnecessary pyro, Johnny has stopped dead in his tracks just short of the podium.

Reaching into the inside of his suit jacket, he pulls out a silk, golden paisley-print handkerchief to dab the sweat away from his forehead as he stares - with wide eyes - at the results of his little entrance display. Journalists are coughing from the smoke, but with the flames extinguished and the fireworks having died off, they slowly start to inch back towards the stage, just as Levy picks up the microphone to speak.

LEVY: Ladies and gentlemen, it is a dark day, a day of loss and tragedy, the likes of which have not been seen in this great country for decades, possibly centuries.

The journalists fall into a hushed, respectful silence; assuming that the actor is addressing the news of Rock Johnson's death.

LEVY: Yes, please, a moment of silence, for the grievous head wound inflicted upon my persons by these lowlives on Proving Ground. Rest assured, I have spoken to my lawyers, and will be seeking a settlement for damages. That said, I will be opening the floor to questions.

Predictably, the first round of queries all center on the news of Rock Johnson's death. Johnny looks a tad confused at this revelation, but with all the poise and calm expected of a lifelong superstar, he doesn't miss a beat in his response.

LEVY: Of course, that too is a tragedy. Uh... Brock Jackson and I go back a long ways, all the way to our time spent volunteering together, feeding the homeless of... uh... insert his hometown here. And in light of this horrible turn of events I have prepared a statement.

Reaching into his pocket again, he pulls out a small flip-pad of paper... as he opens it to a random page, the camera picks up some of the contents. Looks like a bunch of lazy, doodled self-portraits of himself, with the words 'I'M AWESOME', 'YOU'RE WELCOME', and 'BIG LEVY ENERGY' scrawled everywhere in cursive. Clearing his throat, he pretends to read some words off the paper, but it's pretty obvious he's winging it.

LEVY: All due respect and deference to the deceased owner of Project: Honor, Jock Saxon, I still intend to be paid for all advertising, wrestling, and promotion of the league done by myself, one Johnny Moses Levy. Failure to render payment for my services within a timely manner will construe a breach in contract, and will be pursued in court.

Another bead of sweat rolls down his forehead as he closes the notebook and places it back into his pocket. There is a moment of stunned silence from the crowd, before they shout out another round of questions.

"Johnny, care to elaborate on your comment 'Kim Kardashian's busted ass doesn't deserve a fine Jewish man like Pete Davidson'?!"

"Mr. Levy! What about the rumours of a crewmember dying on the set of your new film, 'An American Incel in Paris'?!"

"John boy, anything to say about winning a shot at the Warrior Rising title?!"

By this point, he has been joined by his agent Quinlan Kennedy on his right and his body double/valet/rube henchman, Barlon Mando, on the left. Neither of them seem too pleased to be there, but a job is a job. Can't be too picky in this economy.

LEVY: Whew. Hot in here. First of all, I'd like to say the following: 'no comment'. On the other hand, I do have a few things I would like to address. I'm not sure how you found out about my uncredited role in the erotic martial arts movie 'Warrior RISING', but I was a young man an-

As he speaks, Quinlan is seen whispering into the ear of the hulking bodyguard Barlon. He nods, then - without warning or consultation with his employer - grabs the microphone out of Levy's hand and places it back onto the podium.

While a protesting Levy is ushered away from the stage by the massive stunt man, his agent clears her throat and leans in to the microphone as reporters begin to shout questions after the departing star.

QUINLAN: Sorry about that, everyone; Johnny struck his head during his debut tonight, so he won't be able to take any further questions. We'll be releasing an official comment tomorrow.

Before he can be shoved backstage, Johnny waves happily to the assembled reporters and offers one last, shouted statement before he disappears from view.

LEVY: Have a blessed day, y'all!

QUINLAN: Stop saying 'y'all', Johnny...
