Black Friday: I am not into this American bullshit.
21.11.21 Osaka, Japan
*The last few weeks have been a mixture of emotions for the young Japanese man. Depending on the place, where he was at the certain moment, he had either negative or positive feelings about how things were going. As for the situation in Project Honor, it could rather be described with this first feeling. Though, the negative energy itself was not what exactly represented Arata's state. What the man has felt recently can be accurately depicted with the word disappointment. According to both, the approach presented by the company and the people at its top, but above he was upset with himself. His recent failures made him feel as if he had lost his ability to handle several things at once, without neglecting one of them. However, it was also not like he completely lost faith in himself. After all, everyone had better and worse moments, and Arata himself was in this situation several times. Namely, he was already dealing with a short period of time, when a little distraction in some places cost him a lot, but still he got back on track quickly. That's why, he was convinced that despite his regret, he would be at the top of Project Honor soon enough. With or without the championship, he was going to get everyone's eyes on him. However, this did not mean that he abandoned the idea of being a champion. No, he was still going to finish some business with Ozymandias when the time was right. Especially since, recent circumstances made it clear that a lot could happen between the two of them. However, this was not the most important thing at the moment, as everyone's attention was on a special event called Black Friday's Mall Mayhem. In which not only the members of Proving Ground were to take part in, but also guests from Fallout and young talents. Therefore, Arata knew that he should have concentrated on this, as it was a perfect opportunity to prove to others once again that he is a big money player.*
*Having this event in mind, the man was preparing himself in his own dojo. However, despite the desire to remain alone, someone did not intend to stay away from him. For a moment Arata ignored the presence of this person, hoping that after a while they would get bored and leave him, but they didn't move for a moment. Fed up with being watched from hiding, Arata finally turned towards the door and called the unwanted guest in a raised tone of voice.*
"Can you finally move your ass here? I know you've been following me since I left the house. Do you really have to walk after me everywhere? And even if you do, you might at least not hide, because someone will think that you are some weirdo. Besides, I just want to be alone sometimes too, Yin."
*The girl left her hiding place and a moment later she was standing in front of Arata. A sincere smile appeared on her face.*
"Someone's in a bad mood, Arata-Sama. I've already told you that I can't just leave you alone. That's my job to be near you. You know perfectly well that Raijin-Sama sent me to be your extra pair of eyes. Perhaps, my presence pisses you off, but I can promise you that I will be useful. You will be able to calmly focus on winning and reaching the top, while I take care of eliminating the unfavorable circumstances. You know how many people have disturbed you recently and how much damage it brought. However, with me there will be no Mark Hunter, or that ugly guy from Fallout to stop you during your battles. Problematic egoists like these two made your reputation deteriorate. And we don't want that, because we all know how great you are. So get used to it or ignore me. Though, I would prefer you to see me as a partner in crime. Maybe I don't look like an unstoppable force, but I definitely can skin one of these dirty gaijins if I feel that they disrespected you."
*Arata took a deep breath to control his irritation a bit. However, he quickly forced himself to speak again.*
"I understand why you are here, and thank you for your devotion. According to Raijin it would be better this way and I trust him. I'm not going to interfere with your duties, but I don't want you to get in my way either. Remember, that officially you are given the role of my manager. So if you could not interfere too much, I'd be incredibly grateful. So let me warn you. If you're going to babysit me, already go to hell or wherever you came from. I can do well without anyone's help. Anyway, let's make a deal to make sure everyone knows their place. Either you act like my partner or I don't want to see you near me. Got it?"
*Yin laughed and put both her hands on her cheeks, then responded with enthusiasm.*
"Someone doesn't like to be taken care of, huh? Well, okay, I won't interfere until I have to. But if I sense a threat that would harm you, I won't wait for permission. Until then, I'll be polite and watch from the ring area. Same goes for all of this Mall Mayhem thing."
"Don't even remind me of that ridiculously stupid match. What is even that idiotic idea. It feels more like some reality show for madmans than actual wrestling. Oh my god, this is so fucking disgusting. I am wrestler, not a fucking clown, but that's how America works. This country is full of crap. However, participation in that bullshit is my way to improve my reputation, which hurts me even more. It's a bit annoying, but sometimes you have to sacrifice yourself for good results. Am I wrong?"
"I understand you. I have similar feelings about this match as you do. What's more, I think it is disrespectful to even include you in this absurdity. But your sacrifice will not be wasted, Arata-Sama. After all, there is a reward at the very end. Who knows, maybe this time you will gain one on one match with this gaijin in stupid halloween mask. You know what? I have an idea. Maybe I'll help you a little with training, huh?"
*Arata just shrugged, but in the end he let her do it. To his surprise, his new manager was quite a demanding sparring partner. More importantly, a bit chaotic, and the whole Mall Mayhem was all about chaos.*
24.11.21 Unknown Location
*A few days later, Arata returned to the hideout, where members of his faction were living on a daily basis. The reason why he came there was that he was supposed to record a message about the upcoming event in Project Honor. But did he have to visit this place for such a simple thing? He might as well have done it from his dojo, but he didn't want to reveal his whereabouts, as he doesn't like noisy reporters. Especially since these people powered the world with lies and false priorities. However, the recording wasn't the first thing he did after arriving at this mysterious place. First, he dealt with the documents that had been waiting for him on his desk for a long time until Yin joined him. To the surprise of viewers, she was to be an essential part of the recorded message. Besides, it was a great opportunity for others to get to know who she is and why she is standing by Arata's side.*
*As the shot opens, everyone can see the well-known member of Proving Ground roster, Arata Asakura, who is sitting near a dark wooden desk. The man is wearing a black turtleneck and a two-piece gray suit. On his wrist you can notice a silver watch covered a bit with a slippery material of black gloves. However, there was something in this picture of the elegant man that did not fit. Namely, his face expression that was full of disgust, irritation and hatred. After capturing it, the camera zooms out a little, revealing a young woman sitting on the desk. Yin jumps to the floor, correcting her black dress with a white bow around her neck area. Then she stands to the side, leaning the silver scepter on the carpet, but in such a way as not to cover Arata. Not long after that, a woman of delicate and innocent beauty begins to speak in her melodious voice. In a tone that doesn't seem to match what she's saying.*
You may wonder who I am and what I am doing here. You might be surprised, why I was the first person to speak up and not the talented man behind me. You may have many different questions in your head, that I am going to answer right now. So who am I? After all, most of you have never seen me before. Which is understandable, since I joined Arata-Sam quite recently, but that doesn't make me less involved in his business. In fact, I took this position to help him achieve his goals, because I believe in his noble motives, and this is my top priority. As I have repeatedly told people who have had contact with me so far. I'm going to do whatever it takes to be useful to his vision for a better future. However, this still does not answer the other questions that popped up in your head. Why is Arata Asakura not the speaking person at the moment? Why is he just sitting there and watching what I'm doing? Well, the answer is very important. What Project Honor considered a great and wonderful event, my dearest friend sees as disrespectful to him. He is downright disgusted by the fact that he has to be involved in something so crude, because it is below his high competence. Not to mention the fact that we still do not know whether the place where the match takes place will have limited access or whether there are customers of this store. The very thought of this bunch of gaijins even getting close to Arata-Sam makes me shudder. So you shouldn't be surprised why this man doesn't even want to talk to this full of shit company, since they give him so much disrespect. However, coming back, I hope they don't make such a drastic step to involve outside people. I don't think Indy Darling is fool enough to not only insult Arata-Sama in this way, but also to bring death to those disgusting gaijins who come too close. This is just another proof of how stupid this whole match is. How far away it is from what actual wrestling is. On our side of the world it is treated as a serious sport. While in America you try to make a fucking circus out of it. Ironically you even found some clowns like Archimedes J. Manson, TJ Thompson or Serrano Poblano. And much more.
*Yin turns her head towards Arata for a few seconds, then she looks back at the camera.*
Look at this face. Does he look like a man excited about the great opportunity this liar Indy Darling is promising? Does he look like someone who feels that they will gain respect and recognition in this match? No, this one looks like a man who feels like he is doing something against himself. Don't get me wrong. Arata-Sama doesn't mind a hardcore kind of matches, because he has shown many times how versatile he is. But this whole Mall Mayhem can't even be called a match. This is some stupid game to entertain the egos of a bunch of morons, sitting on their ass in front of the TV. Honestly, I was very surprised to hear about this idea, but I waited patiently for the details. Once I got them, I felt that Project Honor really fell to the very bottom. Honor is part of what this company should pay attention to, but seeing how you are treating your employees as idiots, it is hard to believe in it. Otherwise, they would not force people who are actual wrestlers to participate in such stupidity. I am sure some of them are satisfied, because they can simply unleash chaos, but we are not like that. We don't enjoy spilling blood unnecessarily. We only do it in pursuit of a specific goal. However, we do not even know what we can gain in this game. The only thing promised is a secret prize, but it is not revealed what it is. Maybe it's a title shot, or maybe some irrelevant shit. The point is, it's hard to be motivated without knowing what you are striving for. Which is just another proof that this pseudo-match is a bad idea. And let me tell you one thing for those idiots in the locker room, because you can find few such people. But this match is not about fun or entertaining people. Every fucking match is about you getting recognition and reputation. Is about gain and if someone doesn't understand that, then it is naive and there is no place for such a person in the wrestling industry.
*Yin rolls her eyes and sighs loudly. The woman taps the scepter on the floor and continues her speech, trying to hold back her emotions.*
Despite these feelings, Arata-Sama still has to sacrifice himself and participate in this absurdity to fight for the future he believes in. The thing is that it does not change the fact that he is not satisfied not only with the circumstances but also with the competition. As we all know Proving Ground is full of weaklings who try to pretend to be strong, while basing their career on luck only. One such person is for example Swindle Shelldrake, whose ego got way too big recently. I don't know what this idiot is thinking in that stupid little head of his, but he's not even close to Arata-Sama's level. Not in the slightest way. The only reason he managed to get a pin over him was interference from Ozymandias and the other guy, whose name I don't remember. It is not relevant anyway. The thing is, even in such a situation, he could do nothing more than a pathetic roll up. However, it was enough for his ego to be pushed to the moon, forgetting what had happened so far. Therefore, let me remind you of all the times when you were unable to do anything against Arata-Sama, when the numbers were equal. Or when, for some reason, you were in the team together, he carried your useless ass to the victory. So I don't care how lucky you were back then, but all you can do is lick the shoes of Arata-Sama. And give up on the thought that you will ever be on his level. Same goes for this waste of space like Skylar Ramsey or Slade Castle and many more. None of you come close to Arat-Sama's greatness and you'll find it out first hand. My only advice for you is to pray that he will be in a good mood, because when he is angry he becomes truly bloodthirsty. But honestly...even if something would happen to you, no one would care anyway.
*The woman takes a piece of paper out of her pocket and quickly unfolds it. As it turns out, this is a list of Mall Mayhem participants.*
Most of these names are not worth remembering anyway, so I made a list, so that no one would feel left out. I don't know why, but these least significant morons, have the most issues when no one pays attention to them. So who do we have first....Angelo Caito? I think we are talking about this jobber, who looks like he should have been retired a long time ago. In conclusion, nobody important. Then...who the fuck is Casanova English?! Since I have not heard about him before, I suppose that he is not worth paying attention to. DJ Hunter? Is this some mentaly handi-caped younger brother of Mark Hunter? Well, he will be buried underground just like his brother was on the last PPV. Wait, they are brothers right? Whatever. Next on the list is girl whose whole personality are just a huge tits, but that is not industry in which it would be useful. What else is here...Nah...This is also boring...I have no idea who it is. Oh wait. After all this waste of space, finally a familiar face. Although, after having contact with Havoc, I'd rather not know him. To be honest, this guy's behavior seems gross and barbarian to me. What is worse, he does it all for his own pleasure. Or rather, to heal his savior complex. Which I don't think will ever reach a finish line, because he's so damn greedy. Especially when it comes to unleashing chaos, he will never miss an opportunity to do so. Well, it's always some way to get some attention. Even if it is childish, but you always behaved like spoiled brat despite this demonic aura.
I suppose that you are shocked why I am so rude to you, since you and Arata-Sama were partners for a moment. Well, even if he accepted you as a strong support, I sincerely hate you. Your personality makes me want to puke and I can't help it, you mindless brute. I could tell you a lot more about what is wrong with you, but I don't think we have that much time, so I'll take the last few seconds to tell you something. I wish you the worst possible, you annoying piece of shit. Speaking about annoying pieces of shit, guess who is here as well. King "I have to be everywhere because I'm an attention whore" Jason Long. Doesn't Fallout have such a stupid match as well, that you had to come all the way here, even though no one wanted you? Sorry, but I have enough of this overrated ugly face. Ew. But I guess I understand why you chose to take part in both. Seems like someone is afraid of losing and thinks it will increase their chances. But you may be stupid enough to not understand that going from one hardcore match to another will weaken your chances. After all, it is logical that those who are more fresh will have an easier task than you, who will be already beaten and injured. However, you can't expect logic from someone who is stupid enough to be dating Savannah.
*Arata taps a finger on the desk, letting Yin know that he wants to be the one to end the statement.*
Honestly, I don't give a shit about this whole competition. All I want is to fix my reputation, which is tough in a match that is simply a joke. A match that embodies the greatest bullshit America has ever created. Thinking at the same time, that this is something that can be called culture. Running around the stores and buying irrational amounts of unnecessary things has nothing to do with culture. Just like kicking each other between legs and fighting for worthless boxes has nothing to do with wrestling. The thought of that itself makes me feel terrible. I hate the fact that I have to participate in this shit. However, some part of me is hoping it will be worth it for the sake of the prize. Though, there aren't many things that would satisfy me. Because all I want is to face Ozymandias one on one for a title. Any other prize that awaits me can be thrown in the trash can right away, because me and Ozymandias are not finished with our war yet. We just started it, so I hope that once I beat all those posers, there will be permission in that box, letting me make another move. If not, you can fuck that Black Friday's Mall Mayhem shit. I am not into that American bullshit anyway.
