She was beaten. She was bloody.
She was⊠Broken.
Memphis tried to get her to sleep after everything that had happened. And, she played along. All the while, a plan was formulating in her head. She allowed the shipâs doctor to give her a sedative. But, much to everyoneâs chagrin, sedatives didnât really work on her. Sheâd built up a resistance to them.
So, she feigned being asleep long enough to make sure that Memphis was well and truly out before she made her move. She pulled on a pair of black cargo pants, a black tank top and turtleneck and a pair of black heeled boots. As she stood at the doorway looking back at the sleeping Memphis, she paused. But only for a second.
She left everything that could track her, behind. Her cell phone, her credit cards. Even her passport. She left nothing to chance. What she did have was a burner phone that no one knew about. One she carried with her everywhere she went.
She went to the top deck of the cruise ship and sent a text message with just a single word. âRaven.â
Ten minutes later, she was being lifted into the air by a cable and disappeared into the night.
She had contacts in almost every country in the world. She rarely used them, but she still had them. Once she was on the helicopter, the pilot turned to look back at her, âWhere to, Maâam?â
She glared out over the water as they flew away from the ship, âHome.â

It was after midnight when she got back to Baton Rouge. She knew no one would realize that sheâd disappeared until Memphis woke up later that morning. And thatâs why she didnât go back to the tattoo shop right away.
She decided to take refuge somewhere that sheâd set up a while ago. And wait.
She waited until well after midnight before making her move. This was the first act of putting into motion her version of Ragnarok.
She pulled up to the tattoo shop and parked around the back. The street was dark, so she wasnât worried about being seen. Though, that didnât stop her from making sure no one would recognize her. Once she was parked, she pulled out multiple jerry cans and set them all by the door.
Most would think that she had gasoline in them. Nope. She wasnât about to have speculation thrown at her for arson. She had worked with a chemist some time back to come up with a concoction that would hide the fact that something was used to start a fire. And, this was the perfect time to try it out.
Sheâd gone inside and looked at everything that she held dear. Tattooing had been her lifeâs blood for years. Much as being President of the Shieldmaidens.. And now the Wolves. But the previous nightâs events⊠She was scorching the Earth.
She didnât take time to lolly-gag around. She poured the jerry cans out into the shop and, after driving the vehicle down the road a bit, she lit the shop on fire. She didnât even stick around to watch it burn.
>>> A Couple Of Hours Later <<<
She wasted no time in getting to the shack. When she entered, the man she kept chained up heard her and began to beg and plead for his life. She ignored him, of course. And set about pouring the contents of the jerry cans out in and outside of the shack.
Dropping a match as she exited it out of the shack, not even waiting to see if the guy inside would die from being burned alive or smoke inhalation. She didnât even stay behind to make sure he burned WITH the shack. All evidence that heâd been kept there for months would burn along with the shack.
Besides, she had no plans on coming back from what she was about to do.
>>> Later That Morning <<<
Sheâd gotten a lead on where Roscoe was being taken. The route in which Gottiâs men were traveling with their âpackageâ. Sheâd already called ahead to make arrangements in Russia. To make sure she had everything sheâd need for when she got there.
She just wanted to make sure she couldnât hit him before. Cause, letâs be honest here, if she could take him out before they got to Russia, she damn sure would. And not even think twice about it.
Their itinerary took them from the US, to Italy. From Italy into Norway. Then into Old Ukraine and nowâŠ
Now into Russia.
She knew that they were going to keep Roscoe in Russia for a little while. Keep him hidden until the heat died down. But, what they didnât plan on⊠Was Robi being on the warpath. They didnât plan on her being lost deep in her blood-lust.
They didnât plan on her putting into play a plan that didnât have her coming back.
That is, until she was walking through the Red Square in Moscow and she saw a familiar face, âMagda?â The woman made her way over to Robi, shoved a slip of paper into her hand and disappeared before Robi could even react. âMagda, wait!â
But, the woman was gone, âDammit.â Robi looked around the Square trying to catch a glimpse of the woman. But she was gone.
Robi looked down at the slip of paper in her hand and unfolded it.
Reading it, she gasped softly. âLoup Garou,â the paper said.
And thatâs all she needed to kick her into action.
It was now or never.
Roscoe Valentine⊠Was a dead-man.

âWhat did you all see? The night of BloodbathâŠâ
â...WhatâŠâ
â...DidâŠâ
â...YouâŠâ
â...see?â, she camera came to life as she was standing in the middle of the ring. The Ascension Title folded neatly in the center of the ring.
âDid you watch? How closely? Did any of you see that I walked into that match with Asher and Angelo covered in my sisterâs blood and STILL walked out with the Ascension Title over my shoulder? Did you watch as Asher threw knife after knife into my body and I⊠Did...Not...STOP!?â
She was leaning against the top rope and looking down into the camera, âDid you see, Latoya? Did you see that I took every bit of brutality and every bit of violence he and Angelo threw at me and walked away with MY title? Did you watch, Nick? As those blades cut me over and over and still they didnât stop me? Did you pay attention, Cain?â
âKayden Ellis asked what I was made of. And..,â she smiled darkly. âNone of you can even begin to imagine what Iâm made of. The absolute anger and hatred for society that I hold deep inside. The complete contempt for humankind as youâre all more worried about whoâs fucking whom and how you can get in on the action. With all your bangers and wanna-be bad asses out there worrying about how to make your next âGâ then you are about how youâre going to pay your fucking rent.â
âYou canât begin to hope you feel even half the rage that I feel on a daily basis. The desire⊠No⊠Need to cause as much pain as possible. You canât begin to imagine the amount of disdain I feel when I look at people like you,â she pushes away from the ropes and walks over to where her title is lying folded up in the center of the ring.
âCan any of you say that you could do the things Iâve done? I know most everyone is asking how I couldâve competed the night of Bloodbath after the murder of my sister. Why I competed in that match⊠And the answer is simple, really⊠Because if I hadnât⊠It wouldâve been disrespecting her. Her spirit. Her sacrifice.â
âYou see, plenty of people in your lives will say theyâll take a bullet for you⊠But how many actually would? Would you take a bullet for someone? Cause thatâs what Dru did. She took a fucking bullet for me. For me!â
âNone of you can compare to her. Not you, Latoya. Not you, Nick. And not you, Cain,â she snarked a laugh. âFuck.. Even I donât compare to her. The stubborn bitch that she was. I was ready to take that bullet for her. I was in itâs trajectory. And what did she do? Fucking bitch had to push me out of the way and take the Gods damned thing for me!â
It was easy to see that her anger was starting to rise. That pure hatred was beginning to crawls itâs way to the surface, âSo no⊠You wonât be taking my title from me. None of you. Try as you might, you simply wonât. And donât get me wrong.. Youâre each capable of doing exactly that. But you all have room to grow. None of you are ready to take on the Legacy that Iâve created with this title.â
âLongest reigning Ascension Champion in Project: Honor history. Most title defenses in Project: Honor history.â
She crouched down to the side of the belt and tilted her head slightly, âIâve built a foundation within Project: Honor. And yet everyone just likes to push it aside like it means nothing.â She turners to look at the camera through the ropes, âAnd honestly⊠It annoyed me at first. But now? Now I want people to underestimate me. I want them to think Iâm nothing more than some hot-headed nobody from the sticks of the bayou.â
âBecause when the walls of your pretty little kingdom come crumbling down⊠Iâm going to be the bitch thatâs sitting on the throne.â
She finally reached down and picked up the belt and held it out to her side, towards the camera.
âLatoya, youâve heard my warning once⊠Well, hear it again⊠Nick and Cain, pay attentionâŠâ
She looks in the direction of the camera, still crouched down and holding the belt out.
The look in her eyes was black and violent.
â...RunâŠâ
And then the camera goes black.
