"This is more than coincidence. Since the day I signed up, we keep getting in to each other's paths. Our wrestling styles are opposites. Our philosophies are opposite. Our personalities couldn't be more opposite. Yet, we can't get away from each other. You and I are destined to do this dance, MYO." The scene opens with a shot of Cadillac Jackson standing in front of a plain black background. He's in his typical blue suit, with bright yellow sunglasses.
"I've sat back and thought of what I wanted to say tonight Myo. How I was going to rip you a new one for never winning a big time match. How you've been here since day one with nothing to show for it. How you look like David Bowie from Labyrinth. Tons of edgy impactful punchlines that would really get under your skin and prove how much I hate you and how we'll be rivals forever.
But there's just one problem.
I don't hate you MYOJIN." Caddy takes of his glasses slowly. "In fact I respect the hell out of you." Cadillac tosses the glasses aside, taking off his suit jacket and tie as he speaks.
"I've been going through a lot off camera lately, and the fact of the matter is this - everyone has a story you don't see. Everyone has shit going on and everyone deals with it differently. But to outsiders, we can only judge what we do see. And you know what I see when I look at you MYO? Someone who doesn't get nearly enough credit. Someone so incredibly talented that I think they themselves forget it sometime. I see someone passionate and dedicated who has touched and inspired so many people. MYOJIN, you're one of the best in the business, and I know we're not 'friends', nor have we talked much outside of the ring, but I hope you know how much I respect you, because you're fucking awesome at what you do.
Sometimes I forget how lucky I am to do this, be in an industry I love so much. But I'm reminded getting to compete with people like you. People like Lance, and Mark, and Petey and Ozy... and those I haven't gotten to face but have had the honor to meet like Indy and Elena , the list goes on and on. There's truly so many special people here in Project Honor, and I need everyone to know that. I've met so many incredible people who have become life long friends as far as I'm concerned. People I considered superior to me have complimented me and told me I've inspired them, and that shits powerful.
I give everything to this business each and everytime I enter the ring. It doesn't matter who I'm facing, what the odds are, how dangerous it is... I do it for everyone watching. I've forgotten how to take care of myself because all I've ever wanted to do was make others happy. Coming into this company I didn't think I'd be anything. I was a small fish in a huge pond full of sharks. Truthfully I don't think most the people here ever thought I'd amount to anything. Rightfully, it took me a long time to figure out who I was and to prove myself - and I hope I did that.
So win lose or draw at Clash for the Cup - I don't need to walk out with a title. Just an answer. I just need to know one thing.
Did I at least make you proud?"
Cameron slowly exits the scene as it fades.
