She stands still and unmoving until joined by Candi Cain, who holds the Legacy Championship belt over one shoulder.
As her sister whispers in her ear, Billy nods along with blank eyes that only snap to life when Candi hands her the championship. Snatching it out of the other woman's hands, Billy drags the faceplate of the company's top title across the ramp as she stomps down to the ring, as Candi disappears backstage. BIOGRAPHY
Born near the remnants of a ghost town in Deep Lake, Florida, Billy Bennett's father and mother were both heavily involved in criminal enterprises within Collier County - and, in fact, across the entire deep south, stretching from the marshes of Florida to the bayou of Louisiana. Moonshining, poaching, extortion, loansharking, trafficking in assorted substances; to say the family's interests were diversified would be an understatement. Raised in this sort of environment, Billy quickly learned to be as harsh and ruthless as her parents, brothers, uncles, aunts and cousins - becoming one of the most infamous members of the feared and respected Bennett clan by the time she was a teenager.
Growing up in the backwoods of Florida, she is adept at hunting and trapping; amongst all her siblings there is none as skilled at rigging a snare or setting a booby trap as Billy. Considering the brutish demeanor of her brothers and general 'watch your own back, kill or be killed, the weak should fear the strong' philosophy of the family, she has become an expert in grappling and submission holds - her viselike grip able to force even her 6'9" younger brother Boyd to tap, if she's able to lock in a hold. And although they were slow to give it, she has finally earned the approval and respect of her elders and male siblings.
While on a routine Alligator hunting trip with her father and eldest brother Bo 'Kingsnake' Bennett, an accident occurred that resulted in the untimely death of the clan's patriarch. Though details are scant about what exactly happened that day, one thing is beyond debate - the event in question had a major effect on the psyche of Billy, as she has become increasingly unhinged and violent following her father's death. Often caught speaking to herself or staring blankly into the distance, she has even insisted that her father occasionally communicates with her from beyond the grave.
Eventually, she grew tired of dwelling in the same old backwaters and marshes of Florida - and family business trips to adjacent states no longer satisfied her longing for adventure. Having some knowledge of professional wrestling from various rural backyard shows, she decided to try her hand on the independent Florida circuit - and before long, managed to land a contract with Project: Honor.
Debuting with the company at Bloodbath 2021, Billy’s penchant for violence and brutal, unpolished style of wrestling quickly drew the attention of the man pulling the strings on Fallout.
Andrew Holt - believed by most to be his brother Arik - approached the Floridian during the most bloody event of the year: The Purge. Offering her little more than a chance to indulge in her savage instincts and bad habits as one of his soldiers, she accepted the offer without a second thought.
Joining True Society more out of respect for Holt than any desire to get ahead in the company, Billy has continued to ply her trade in and out of the ring. Recently, she has taken the Noble Championship belt off of her fellow stablemate, Slade Castle, in a brutal 5-way match at Wired Consequences II.
In addition, she seems to have captured the attention of Mr. Wright, a newcomer to Project: Honor and the host of kid’s TV show The Promised Land Playhouse. Something about the man seems to have accomplished the impossible, by getting under Billy’s skin and unnerving the otherwise unshakeable pit viper.

The following show, she utilized her cold-blooded cunning and resiliency to survive a group beatdown by teammates Havoc, Angelo Caito and Syndicate during the Throne of Blood match; a bloodbath booked by their enemy Jason Long. Waiting for the trio to wear themselves out before snatching the crown - and the Throne - for herself, Billy's toxic smugness has only grown more obnoxious with these continued victories.
At the biggest PPV of the year - The Crowning II - Billy Bennett finally cashed in one of the Universal Briefcase cards, immediately after Alyssa Grace won the Ascension Championship in a hard-fought bout against Jason Long and Billy's new friend Savannah Sunshine. Choking out the new champion to steal the title, a ruthless beatdown from Savannah and Billy ensued... until the victims made a miraculous escape using Jason Long's bizarre powers. She went on to fight in the main event Wargames match between True Society and the combined forces of the KaVengers and Big Drip Worldwide. Although the tensions between herself and Slade Castle - previous holder of the Noble Championship before Billy - nearly cost her group the match, the professionalism and ability of their teammate Syndicate ensured the group of heels came out victorious.
The celebratory high of The Crowning II didn't last long, as it was soon revealed that taking the Ascension Championship from Alyssa Grace came with strings; namely, Billy herself would be forced to face Havoc 1-on-1 to unify the Ascension and Prime Championship belts. In the toughest match she'd been involved in during her short career, the young Bennett woman came within seconds of defeating the dreaded Nightmare Tyrant and becoming the first Ascended Prime Champion of Fallout... until the direct meddling of her rival Syndicate cost her the match and resulted in her first defeat in Project: Honor. After the match, the demise of True Society was sealed once and for all, the previously dominant faction splintering into pieces despite Holt's efforts to hold it together.
Apparently, karma did exist in the cruel, bloody landscape of Fallout.
Sinking into self-loathing and misery as a result of her narrow defeat and inevitable, impending - to her scattered, paranoid mind at least - burial by the company's new management, Billy proceeded to inform Andrew Holt that their business relationship was over. It was only the advocacy of new Fallout co-GM Percival 'Ratman' Burque that seemed to remind her of how close she got to defeating Havoc, when he announced her as his choice for the upcoming Fatal 4-Way bout for the top prize in the entire company: the vacant Legacy Championship.
For the first time in her life, Billy Bennett fought to win something, instead of simply for her own satisfaction and pleasure. In a brutal fight between herself, Havoc, Emmanuelle and Mark Hunter, the comparatively inexperienced rookie proved - once and for all - that she belonged at the top of the industry. In the end, she ended up atop Havoc, strangling him and holding his head under water until the Demon seemed to take his last breath, leaving the referee with no choice but to stop the match and award Billy Bennett the title of Legacy Champion.
In just over four months, the young woman who had wandered out of the swamps of Florida and into her first real professional wrestling company sat at the peak of Project: Honor, intent on using her new prize as bait to lure the strongest and deadliest challengers into the ring with her.
