"FAILURE"
October 1st, 2021
Brandon Hendrix and Emmanuelle are battling tooth and nail in the middle of the ring. Both superstars want to exceed people's expectations and show that they are the future of Project: Honor and Proving Ground, but for Brandon, for a short period…
"Emmanuelle transitions into her STF variant with a sleeper, Brandon appears to have nowhere to go! The referee gets perfectly into position but Hendrix is adamantly waving his questions away, Brandon stretches for the ropes but is miles away and appears to be losing his fight against the hold. Still Hendrix stubbornly refuses to submit until eventually Emmanuelle screams at the referee “HE’S OUT!!”, instantly the ref calls for the bell and Emmanuelle breaks the hold.
DING! DING! DING!
Disappointment. Once again, Brandon has failed… and it feels like he's back at square one: the bottom. He walks through the back, his head figuratively in the ground, his body language of sadness. He walks past all the producers, superstars, even Indy Darling, who unbeknownst to Brandon was watching his match, ready to make a announcement later in the night including Brandon himself. He doesn't say a word, not even a peep. His mission of gaining respect, gaining anything in the relation… gone. He hears talks of Emmanuelle… but nothing for him. He walks into the men's locker room and takes a seat by his locker. He pulls off the wrist tape that covers both his wrists and tosses it into his open locker before planting his head into his hands. Maybe after this, he goes back to dark matches, facing off guys like Rapture and so on for the rest of his Project: Honor career, maybe even lucky to get a Warrior Rising Championship match here and there. Brandon doesn't even stay for the rest of the show, as he left fifteen minutes after his match had ended. Brandon is in the back of a Lincoln Navigator, being driven by his hired driver for any and all shows he attends to. He has the television on in the back of the passenger headrest as he's flipping through all the channels before landing on the channel that holds Proving Ground. It is at the part of Indy Darling's big announcement.
Indy Darling: "That’s why I’ve selected Brandon Hendrix, Emmanuelle, Tara Fenix...and Lance Williams as the four participants in this Round Robin."
As soon as Brandon was about to change the channel,he stops when hearing his name mentioned. His curiosity peaks so he places the remote on his lap and he continues watching the segment. "Along with the trophy and the bragging rights, the winner will also earn a future shot at the Proving Ground title of their choice, whether it be the Warrior Rising, X-Factor, or Grand Championship itself." Shocked by this, Brandon turns the television off, dropping the remote onto the vehicle seat. He sits back into the seat, wondering why him. What had he done to actually prove this opportunity he's getting? He tapped out to Mark Hunter and he just passed out and lost via Technical Submission to Emmanuelle. So why is he being placed in this Round Robin with former Champions in their own right? Never winning a championship in his career, let alone in Project: Honor. Knowing in a few days time, Brandon got another match for another company, and he cannot let this ruin him mentally because if he does, he won't survive.

"BRANDON HENDRIX LANDED ON TOP OF RAVEN! HE WINS! HE WINS!"
A year in the making. A fucking year of pain, a year of clawing his way to get to where he is. Now, he can say what he's been wanting to say since his debut.
"THE CHAMP… IS HEEEERRREEEE!"
Bursting through the curtain, the SCW Heavy Metal Championship in his grasp, Brandon Hendrix walks to the Guerrilla Position, getting a standing ovation from the people in the back. The second Champion crowned in SCW, and the first male Champion crowned. He walks down the hallway, holding his neck with his free hand as his other hand tightly grips the strap of the title belt as he pulls the locker room door open and takes a seat on a open steel chair, the title placed across his lap as he does nothing but stares, still in amazement of what transpired. He wipes his eyes, tears slowly filling them. He reaches into his bag and pulls out his cellphone. He turns the screen on and opens up his contacts, scrolling down before getting to the name "Mom". He dials the number and places the phone to his ear, waiting a moment before something muffled comes though the other end.
"..."
"Hey mom. You uh.. you watched the show?"
"..."
"I just wanted to say… Thank you. Thank you for always having faith in me, for always believing that I could achieve whatever I wanted ever since I was born. Thank you for waking me up at five AM every night when I was a kid, making me work for what I get in my life. Thank you for not abandoning me and sending prayers to the Gods above when I had tubes keeping me breathing to keep me here today. This one was for you mom."
"....."
"Love you too mom. Bye."
Brandon hangs up the phone and tosses it back into his bag. He wipes his eyes again before, for the last time, looks at the Championship title as everything seems to be going his way.

"Rebuttal"
October 11th, 2021
"Hello Tara." The first words come through the pitch black darkness. Slowly, a picture starts to come in and first shown is Brandon Hendrix. His scenery starts inside his personal home. He's set inside his kitchen, donning a black sleeveless t-shirt, cargo shorts, and DIOR B27 Mid Top Nike sneakers on. He leans on the countertop in front of him, a smirk drawn on his face that seems impossible to be removed.
"What's up, cuz? Now, first thing is first, I must say my thanks for allowing me to participate on your cruise ship event you have going on. I have my swimsuit picked out and everything. Oh and don't worry, because I'm treating that event with as much determination as I would anywhere else. Just like our match: first week of this Round Robin where whoever has the most points at the end, chooses which Proving Grounds Championships they want to go for. Now, you'd think on October 1st, I'd be killing myself in that ring in this Round Robin system, aiming for my first Championship win in my career. Well, that's not the case anymore l, especially since I got..". Brandon turns his body, extending his arm out, but stops, his facial expression one of confusion. "What the hell.. where is it?"
He searches around the kitchen for a good minute, and meanwhile the sound of footsteps approach closer and closer. "Looking for something, doll?" A voice off screen which causes Brandon to turn his head. What he sees off camera makes him smirk, followed by a slight chuckle. "Can you give that back? Had my ass looking all over for that only for you to be wearing it. I swear you wear it more than I do." From beyond the screen walks a female: pale skin, black hair, nails painted, and around her slim waist is a championship title. She unhooks it from around her waist and holds it in her hands. "And here I thought you love it when I wear it." She says as she hands over the title to Brandon, who takes it in his hands. "No I do. Trust me I do a lot. Unfortunately, I need it for a short moment, then you can have it back. Got to shut up Tara Fenix about this." She smirks slightly. "Promise Anthony?" "Yes Carina, I promise." She then walks over and gives him a kiss on the cheek before walking off screen, leaving Brandon and the camera alone in the kitchen. Brandon then places the Championship title over his shoulder.
"Especially since I got this. Something I worked my career to achieve. I busted my ass to win this and I freaking did it. Now, I assume you would have mentioned this because you know this is the biggest moment of my career so far. I don't blame you, but I would also assume you would mention your "illustrious" career, so I checked your resume. Let me see if I remember:
XHF Phoenix Champion
XHF Junior Heavyweight Champion
X*Crown Champion
XHF World Champion
IWF Ruby Champion
IWF Women's World Champion
Mainstream World Television Champion
Impressive for outside of Project: Honor, but let's talk about what happened inside Project: Honor:
Warrior Rising Champion…. Which of all seven days… which is the shortest reign in history. Hey you know what, you still won a championship. Congrats! You know, maybe it could have been a fluke? Who knows really because you immediately came back and beat Mark Hunter, a former Grand Champion in his own right. Meanwhile after my own triumph at Night Of Honor, I was met with my own failure at the following Proving Ground. I wasn't pinned, nor did my hand tap the mat three times no no no. What happened was… well more embarrassing than that, to me at least. I simply passed out for a minute. Technical Submission as they call it: the loser refuses to tap out, but when the referee deems the match to be over due to a participant unable to continue. Heh…"
"Let's be honest with ourselves, if I was up immediately after being let go of the hold, then the call was bullshit to begin with." Brandon shakes his head a bit before leaning back into the counter again, crossing his arms. "But what am I to expect? Normally, when someone comes into professional wrestling, or so I heard from someone who was a wrestler for twenty plus years, that normally, everyone is on the same page as each other: help each other grow, and by doing that, the company grows stronger and stronger. That's not what happened to me. When I came in, people did their absolute best to keep me underwater. Nobody wanted me to even have a contract and did their best to run me out. And when I got to this company, I saw you, and I felt the same way. That this Sniveling Cunt wants to keep me down, wants to run me out of this company. It's sad that I know why you invited me to that cruise ship event of yours, it was out of pity. You think I'm that pitiful that you gave me the fake smile and no hearted thumbs up, allowing me to step into that ring, but let's be real honest, you knew that steam I was getting. You knew people have been talking about me, a lot more than they talk about most people in this company, so you wanted to capitalize on that and try to take the spotlight from me, but truth be told Tara, at the end of the day, even on your own Cruise, I will be on the headlines while Tara Fenix barely has a small section in that same article."
"You know, despite your achievements that you won across the world as you say, you're only going to be known for two things: a host of a Cruise Ship for your own birthday and two, the person who first lost to Brandon Hendrix on his path to the Grand Championship. Yeah, I passed out in my last match, but I hope to God you don't sit there and think for one single second that you're going to waltz in there and tap me out as well? I have news for you Tara, you're not even going to be able to lock me into your little Figure Four Leg Lock will make me tap? You have a better chance of winning the lotto or maybe even living happily ever after then to be a part of that magic darling. I don't give a damn about your leg and if it's injured or not, I don't. Because I'm not going for your leg, I'm going for your head. I'm aiming for either kickin it off your body, or simply using my own hands and slowly decapitating it: watching each vein that's in your neck slowly rip in half, your blood spilling on the ground below. Either one: I win, and you lose." Brandon pulls his cellphone out of his right pocket, staring at the screen for a moment before sliding the phone back into his pocket. "Unfortunately for right now, that's all I can do. As a busy man, Brandon Hendrix here has to leave for a show tomorrow. But don't you worry Tara, I'll be back here Wednesday morning, probably with some extra hardware, and I will make the spotlight about you once again. See you on the 13th." Brandon smirks as he picks up his championship title from the counter and places it over his shoulder before leaving the view of the camera.

"Brandon 2 Belts"
October 12th, 2021
In the ring, Brandon and his tag team partner are clearing out their opponents. They already laid waste to one, not they have the remaining opponent set up in the ring. Brandon tags in his partner who hits his Northern Light Suplex finisher to gain a victory and now adds a second championship to Brandon's name. With his Heavy Metal Championship in one hand, Brandon is handed a Tag Championship in the other hand. He lifts both his arms up in the air, soaking in the moment right here, right now.

"Destiny"
October 13th, 2021
"Yes you can wear them both, I already made my example with titles so you can wear them when they leave the display." The sound of Brandon's voice fills the darkness before the scenery is set inside an office room. On a wall behind a desk and computer are three cases: two are filled with championships, but one in the middle is empty. "Soon… soon you're going to be filled with one more championship." The voice comes from Brandon Hendrix, who steps in camera view dressed in a black suit, white shirt underneath with a red tie in the collar of the shirt.
"I can't lose this Tara. This Round Robin will be one of the toughest time periods of my career, but I will, and you know I mean this, I will do whatever it will take to win. I need that defying moment of my Project: Honor career. I can't have mine be bringing Mark Hunter to the limit, or beat an overrated wrestler like Scott Oasis. I NEED to beat you, Emmanuelle, and Lance Williams in this entire thing. Going into this, I'm the only person who hasn't won a Project: Honor title, while you three have. I wish you would forfeit this match up, because fucking with me signs your death warrant early. You saw my mood when I got screwed of my opportunity destroy someone here, I turned it to gold with a vengeance. Now, I feel like you two are trying to screw me with my opportunity…. And it pisses me off. It absolutely baffles me that you imbeciles have the belief in your heart that you're taking MY opportunities from me. I've worked too damn hard in my life to let anyone take anything from me again. With everything that happened in my career: all the screw jobs that bosses pulled on me, all the stunts people pulled to get me to leave companies because "I don't fit their mold as a superstar"......"
"For a FUCKING YEAR I HAD TO LISTEN TO PEOPLE SAY "BRANDON YOU FUCKING SUCK!" "BRANDON YOU'RE SO SHIT!" WELL FUCK YOU! FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUUUUUCKKK YOOOOOOUUUU!!"
"Guys like you wouldn't survive in this environment. You would retire within the day. I lived that for a year, and I am getting what I'm owed. And no one, not a single person is taking that away from me. To all of you that doubted me, and still do. From the bottom of my heart- go fuck yourselves. However, for all of you that stood by my side… I just want you all to know that this…." Brandon turns his body and points at the two Championships inside the cases on the wall before turning back around to face the camera. "this isn’t for me. This may sound cliche, but this title isn’t for me, it for every single one of you. This...if for everyone that has been told that they aren’t good enough. This is for the people like me who were told to their face that they wouldn’t amount to anything…"
"THIS IS FOR THE PEOPLE WHO HAS EVER HAD A DREAM THAT THEY HAD TO SCRATCH AND CLAW TO ACHIEVE. THIS IS FOR THE PEOPLE WHO FEEL WORTHLESS AND FEEL LIKE THE WORLD WOULD BE BETTER OFF WITHOUT THEM. THIS IS FOR THE PEOPLE WHO KNOW THEY DON’T HAVE A SNOWBALL’S CHANCE IN THE NINTH CIRCLE OF HELL TO BE ANYTHING MORE THAN NOTHING, BUT FIGHT WITH EVERYTHING THEY HAVE, EVERY OUNCE OF COURAGE AND POWER IN THEIR HEARTS AND THEIR SOULS, UNTIL THEY CAN SAY THAT THEY ARE WORTH A SHIT IN THIS WORLD. THIS. IS. FOR. YOU!!!"
"In the previous time, this was nobody's. It belong to no one. This….is mine now. I have fought tooth and nail to get this, and I will do the same to keep it. I don’t care who you are, it could be the biggest guy in the locker room, the caterers, the guy in the trucks who control the cameras, or the bosses in the suits. If you step up to me expecting an easy title win, I will show you just why I call myself "The Don", "The Based God, "The Messiah", and most importantly, the next… Grand Champion."
"Quote the Messiah…."
"Nevermore."
