OOC: Apologies for the short rp. Life has a habit of sucking and its sure delivered on that the last few weeks.
You know... Certain things in life are funny aren't they?
Like how one second you think you have all the answers - and the next? Well the question has completely changed. We go through life so certain that our point of view is gospel - and that if others don't see thing the way that we do? Well clearly, they're wrong.
But maybe it is us who are blind.
Maybe it is our own fault that this world we live in doesn't function the way we want it to. Life has been built around the premise that we control our own destiny - but in reality we're all just walking through life blind. Even if you believe in faith, nobody truly knows what their God wants. They're just guessing. Any book, any story or tale - it's all only as accurate as its retelling. If you don't believe in God and you believe in fate, that's just as flimsy. You're choosing to believe everything happens for a reason and why? Because it's easy. Because it's an answer. And don't even get me going on science. We like to parade around how far science has come - when in reality it's just a circle of guess work until something right happens. What happens if it stops working? What happens when your theories crash and burn?
What happens when you're all wrong?
You see I've made my career here trying to open everyone's eyes - to allow them to see the glory that I see through The Light. People like Slade Castle. People like Valkyrie. They could all be so much more if they'd simply listen. But I've finally figured it out...
I've finally come to the realization why nobody takes what I say seriously. It's not because they think what I'm saying is false.
It's because if I'm right... then that means that they're wrong.
As of late I've hit a bit of a wall - especially against one of my opponents this week - the aforementioned Slade Castle. It's gotten to the point where I've lost so many matches that people are taking that as a sign that I'm weak. That everything I preach is weak. But it's the exact opposite brothers and sisters - it's proof.
Mason Destruction refused to hear me out - but after being around me and The Light that surrounds me... he's become so much better. So much more then he was before. Slade Castle was a nobody before he was matched up against me - and now he's getting title shot after title shot, because The Light shows everyone in their truest form. And I have no doubt that The Light will do the same for you, Valkyrie. But you see, win lose or draw I've lost sight of what truly matters. Wins and titles are a great means to get more attention, more eyes on the prize if you will. But what truly matters?
Is the effect.
People are being elevated... by me. People are being shone in MY light... THE Light. So I ask you Brothers and Sisters...
What more proof could you possibly need?
I understand being wrong is scary. I understand learning the truth is overwhelming. But just know... it's better this way. No more searching for a purpose. No more searching for your place in a true society. No more living life waiting for someone to see who for who you are.
Because I see you. The Light sees you.
And everyone else can see you too.
All you have to do is take my hand... and follow me into The Light.
