The camera turns on as the Cameraman approaches Slade on the street. Slade is minding his own business when the camera is suddenly put in his face. Slade, not aware of the camera’s presence, is startled and swipes the camera to the ground. The camera continues filming, now sideways, only able to capture part of the scene. After realizing what is happening, Slade turns his attention to the cameraman and grabs him by the throat, and lifts the smaller-sized man into the air.
Slade Castle: How many times do I gotta tell you, you stupid son of a bitch…
Slade throws the man to the ground. The man scrambles around for a moment before finally getting to his knees. He begins to breathe heavily trying to catch his breath. Slade bends over, now yelling in the wounded man’s face.
Slade Castle: If I wanna talk, I’ll find you. You got that little man? I’m done playing games. I’ve had it up to here with you already.
Slade raises his hand out of frame.
Slade Castle: To some of you, this is just entertainment. Just some fun little show. To me? This is my life. I have lived through shit I would never wish on anyone to have to experience. You see, now I’m starting to get it. In this kind of world you want as many eyes on you to get what you want. So I will do what I gotta do. If none of you want to treat me with the decency and respect of a normal human being then maybe I just gotta stop being human...
Slade kicks the man in the gut, sending him flying out of frame. He stands back up and stands there for a moment with his chest and head out of frame. He takes a deep breath. Slade walks over to the camera and picks it up, aiming it towards his face.
Slade Castle: And start living like a beast.
Slade turns the camera off.
