The scene opens up as we see Earl Boyde in the backstage area with Alyssa Nguyen. Earl can be seen wearing the Gatekeeper Championship on his waist and he can be seen smoking a cigar. Alyssa Nguyen picks up the microphone to speak to Earl.
ALYSSA NGUYEN
Earl, during Night of Honor, you outlasted every competitor in the battle royale for Gatekeeper Championship. You are now the first Gatekeeper Champion in Project Honor history. But now you must go up against Thorberg Aaronsson and Noah Hope for your first title defense. Any thoughts Earl?
Earl continues smoking on his cigar, basically ignoring what Alyssa Nguyen just told him.
ALYSSA NGUYEN
Uhh, Ear-
Earl then blows out the smoke on Alyssa, causing her to cough. Earl then begins to speak.
EARL BOYDE
Hey boy, these two aren’t gonna last long against the champion at all.
Earl then faces the camera.
EARL BOYDE
Hey boy, Thorberg Ass-Sun has some friggin’ gull to fight me again. Was the kick to his miniature viking not enough? Sure, he might be a big lad. But I’ve seen women who are even heavier, even taller and even have bigger beards. He ain’t anything new is what I’m tryin’ to say.
Earl then takes a breath before speaking.
EARL BOYDE
Hey boy, but enough about him. There is also Noah Hope. Now, I don’t know anything about this young lad. Besides the fact that he is an idiot that believes he is brilliant in every way. Shocking! To imagine the fact that the chicken boys at Project Honor outright calls him useless and even they don’t do this to the likes of Rapture and Latoya Hixx. I’m willing to bet that he is just as useless in the ring as a crippled guy is in a running marathon.
Earl walks off screen as the screen fades to black.
