Before the One Night Special begins, the camera cuts backstage and into the office of Chairman and Founder of Project: Honor, Rock Johnson. He’s taking a sip of his tequila and looks directly into the camera with a grin of excitement on his face.
ROCK JOHNSON: Welcome to Collision Course! There’s been some talks about the purpose of tonight and questions around if we can even make it work properly. We had some creative minds come together to brainstorm how we can keep such a prestigious title like the Tag Team Championships while not having many teams to even compete for it.
Rock briefly takes a second to chuckle and take another sip of his tequila.
ROCK JOHNSON: How trivial of a joke for people to question us after everything we’ve been through this past year. I think that we’ve come back from every bad happening we’ve had and it’s made us stronger by doing so.
He pops the top to the bottle of the tequila and pours himself another drink over some ice.
ROCK JOHNSON: Since our last champions, I’ve been scoping the competition and determining how it would be best to crown some new ones. Hopefully ones that stick around this time and be legitimate champions. That’s when we came up with Collision Course. A one night event where the Tag Team Champions will be crowned. Of course we had to do things a little differently with Night of Honor happening this weekend, but we’re making it work. We’re here and we’re not leaving until our new champs are crowned! Ten total teams come here tonight, whether they’re competing in week one of Night of Honor or not, putting their bodies on the line in - hopefully for them - multiple matches until one team stands with the belts on their shoulders. They’ve been waiting for this opportunity for over a month since it was first announced and the time is finally here. We’ll see some teams that have formed just for this opportunity, come from different places around the world, or even some familiar faces that we’re used to seeing.
Mr. Johnson drinks his tequila until the glass is empty and puts the empty glass back down on his desk.
ROCK JOHNSON: Who’s ready to get the show started?
From his office, you can hear the fans in the arena screaming at the top of their lungs.
ROCK JOHNSON: That’s what I thought. Let’s get the fucking show started! HERE IS… COLLISION COURSE!
OPENING ROUND
Tag Team Match
ANTITHESIS (7)
vs.
THE HERITAGE (10)
The match begins with Jonathan Sanders hitting a massive elbow to the jaw on Ryan Young. Jonathan takes control of the match, keeping Ryan down on the mat for the majority of the time. Ryan is able to sweep Jonathan’s legs long enough to get the tag for Rebecca to come in, but so was Jonathan as he dove for it! Both Tyson and Rebecca come in with a head of steam, but it’s Tyson that gets the advantage with a knee strike to the gut, a chop to the back and then finishes the combo strong with a spinning back kick to put Rebecca down for a two count already.
The Heritage gets a few moves off here and there, but it’s ANTITHESIS that keeps control throughout the entirety of the match. Tyson and Ryan are the legal competitors as Tyson is on the top rope. Jonathan takes Rebecca out with a Shot of Serotonin while Tyson jumps off the top rope with The Heatseeker, getting the pin and moving ANTITHESIS to the next round of the Tournament.
WINNERS: ANTITHESIS via pinfall.
OPENING ROUND
Tag Team Match
THE PHANTOM TROUPE (9)
vs.
THE BROTHERS OF BALANCE (8)
The match gets underway as DJ Hunter starts off the match for The Phantom Troupe and Lord Raab starts the match off for The Brothers Of Balance. Both Kyle Valentine and Konrad Raab get out of the ring at their respective corners. DJ Hunter runs at Lord Raab who just takes him off his feet with a stiff lariat that sends him flipping through the air and down to the mat. Lord Raab helps DJ Hunter back up to his feet by grabbing him around the neck. DJ Hunter manages to get free from the grasps of him and hits him with a dropkick that rocks him, then hits him with another and a third before knocking him into the corner where Konrad Raab tags himself in. Once he’d got in the ring, DJ Hunter takes him down with a springboard tornado DDT and then goes and tags in Kyle Valentine.
DJ and Kyle both hit Konrad with a double superkick that stuns Konrad who falls back against the ropes. He uses the momentum to charge out at The Phantom Troupe taking them both down with a clothesline. DJ Hunter rolls out of the ring as Konrad climbs up to the top turnbuckle and surprises us all by going for a Shooting Star Press only for Kyle to get the knees up at the last minute. Konrad is rolling around on the mat holding his stomach as Kyle manages to get up to his feet. Lord Raab has had enough and steps into the ring as does DJ Hunter too having had the time to recover. DJ Hunter and Kyle Valentine manage to hit Lord Raab with Deep Six (Aided Double Arm DDT) and then as Konrad gets to his feet they hit him with Doom Train.
Kyle is the legal man as DJ Hunter rolls Lord Raab out of the ring and sits on the apron watching as Kyle Valentine hits the Firestorm Frog Splash (High Fly Flow) on Konrad Raab and gets the pinfall for the victory!
WINNERS: The Phantom Troupe via pinfall.
QUARTER-FINALS
Tag Team Match
SHINIGAMI NO TENSEI (1)
vs.
THE PHANTOM TROUPE (9)
The match begins with Arata attacking Kyle with left and right hooks to his jaw. He backs him up into the ropes and then clotheslines him out. Kyle lands awkwardly on his back and looks in a lot of pain. Arata slides out of the ring and stomps a mudhole into Kyle. The ref starts a countout! DJ drops down from the apron and Havoc runs over to him. Arata lifts Kyle up and then drops him back down with an STO Backbreaker. Havoc runs into DJ’s knee as he lifts up with a knee strike right to his jaw. Arata grabs a hold of Kyle again and rolls him into the ring. The ref got to a four count and DJ and Havoc are still outside. In the ring, Arata covers Kyle and gets a one count from the ref.
Outside the ring, DJ pulls Havoc to a vertical base and then throws him right into the barricade, his back colliding against it. DJ steps back and charges at him to connect The Exorcism. Running knee strike connects and Havoc is out. DJ climbs back up to the apron, hoping Kyle can make a tag to him. Arata runs against the ropes and connects a single leg dropkick right to Kyle’s face. DJ is on the side looking absolutely disappointed. About a minute goes by and Arata stays in control, connecting moves such as the Double A, Reverse Frankensteiner, Painkiller and a moonsault.
Arata has Kyle up on her feet and whips her into the ropes. He rebounds and comes right at Arata for him to connect a Flip DDT followed by the Golden Dragon. The frog splash connects and DJ is trying to get in to save his teammate, but Havoc pulls him in for the Giga Drill Break. Arata covers Kyle for the victory.
WINNERS: Shinigami no Tensei via pinfall.

JÖRMUNGANDR (5)
vs.
RULERS OF THE UNDERGROUND (4)
JORMUNGANDR and Rulers of the Underground are ready, Jay Crowley starts the match off for JORMUNGANDR and Thorberg does for Rulers of the Underground. The other two are on the apron as Thorberg takes Jay down with a big boot and lifts him up off his feet and throws him onto his shoulders in a fireman’s carry. Thorberg walks over to where Angelo is and tags him in, he still has Jay Crowley on his shoulders in the fireman's carry. Swindle Shelldrake isn’t about to just watch on as he jumps over the top rope and into the ring.
Swindle hits Thorberg with a really strong dropkick that forces him to let go of Jay who ends up hitting a crossbody on Angelo. Jay and Swindle pick up Thorberg and hit a double powerbomb on him over the top rope sending him down hard to the floor on the outside of the ring. They then focus their attack on Angelo as they get him up to his feet. They hit the Deep-Sea Damnation (Tombstone lift dropped into a double knee lungblower) as Jay follows it up with the pin and Swindle pushes down on Jay’s back to make sure Angelo doesn’t kick out.
He doesn’t and JORMUNGANDR get the win!
WINNERS: JORMUNGANDR via pinfall.
QUARTER-FINALS
Tag Team Match
THE MASSACRE (3)
vs.
STEELE & VENOM (6)
Some would say this match was a Massacre! The match began with Lazarus and James Ranger, but James couldn’t seem to get much going for him. Lazarus kept control for a minute or two hitting moves like Unbridled Hate, Pointed Elbow Drop, and the Death Valley Driver. James was able to send Lazarus over the ropes after a clothesline attempt which prompted Kagome and Charon to drop off the apron. James attempted a suicide dive only for Lazarus to move out of the way, forcing him to collide with the ground. After the ref reaches a four count, Lazarus rolls James into the ring and attempts a pinfall, only to get a two count.
After that, Lazarus tags in Charon who puts the match away with the Original Sin and gets the pinfall.
WINNERS: The Massacre via pinfall.
QUARTER-FINALS
Tag Team Match
ANTITHESIS (7)
vs.
FIRE & ICE (2)
ANTITHESIS plus Fire And Ice are both in the ring, Tyson Sykes and Pyro are the members of their team who are in the ring to start it off. Jonathan Sanders and Julius look on from their respective corners. As Tyson and Pyro stare each other down, the ref calls for the bell to kick off the match. Tyson is just staring at Pyro strangely as Pyro carefully takes the horned mask off he was wearing and passes it to Julius. As he does that, Tyson makes the most of it and hits Pyro from behind with a hard forearm smash. Julius takes offense to this as he jabs the horns of Pyro’s mask into Tyson’s arm causing it to cut it open. The ref is telling Julius to get rid of the mask and arguing with him as Jonathan steps into the ring. He has some sort of homemade shank in his hand as he uses it to cut across the forehead of Pyro. Blood starts gushing out as Jonathan is quick to get out of the ring and dispose of the home made shank.
The ref turns around to see that both Tyson and Pyro are bleeding, Pyro being the one covered in blood worse as it’s like he is wearing a mask of blood on his face. Whereas Tyson has managed to rip some fabric off from somewhere and tie it around the cut on his arm. Tyson starts to unleash punch after punch on Pyro he starts to laugh like a crazy man on crack. Even with the blood still pouring out of him and the punches from Tyson, Pyro is refusing to go down. Julius tries to get in the ring but the ref is trying to stop him as Tyson just kicks Pyro as hard as he can in the dick. Pyro falls to the floor holding onto his plums as Tyson goes and tags in Jonathan. Jonathan and Tyson start to kick at Pyro who is on the floor trying to protect himself but is unable to. They both get Pyro to his feet and hit Thanatophobia (Syko Bomb/Lungblower combination) before the ref turns around as Tyson gets out of the ring and as Jonathan goes for the pin.
The ref hadn’t seen the tag though so he doesn’t count the pin and tells Jonathan to get out of the ring. This gives Pyro time as he gets to his feet with the aid of the ropes but is too far away to make the tag before Tyson gets back in the ring. Instead Pyro starts laughing which stops Tyson in his tracks. Pyro brings his arm up and points it at Tyson who begs Pyro not to hit him with The Burning (Fireball To The Face) as Tyson covers his face. When Tyson does uncover his face his is too late to react to The Pyro Massacre (Black Mass) and Pyro just walks over to Julius and tags him in. While this was happening, the ref was the only one that had seen Jonatthan tag himself in as Tyson was falling to the mat. Tyson runs at Julius who just says “Fuck you motherfucker.” before hitting him with The Royale With Cheese, then securing the pin for the Fire & Ice victory.
WINNERS: Fire & Ice via pinfall.
SEMI-FINALS
Tag Team Match
THE MASSACRE (3)
vs.
FIRE & ICE (2)
Probably the most anticipated matchup of the night was between The Massacre and Fire & Ice. Charon started out the match for his team while Pyro and Julius bickered for a few seconds and Pyro just stayed in the ring. It was a slow start with both Pyro and Charon trading strikes to the face until Charon was able to thrust kick Pyro in the knee, dropping him down to a knee. Charon then hits a thrust kick to the jaw followed by a rebound knee to the side of the head, completing the Bogged In Sin combo. It was about this time that Charon kept control of the match for about a minute or so until Pyro countered with a quick headbutt and a snap clothesline, sending Charon down to the mat. Pyro then completed the tag to Julius who came in guns blazing.
Julius would connect back-to-back clotheslines on Charon, then whipping him into the ropes hoping for The Foot Fuckin’ Master, but Charon dodges and completes the tag to his partner, Lazarus. Lazarus doesn’t waste any time here as he ducks a forearm smash attempt from Julius, rebounding against the ropes and coming back with a vicious spear. A pin attempt was made only to get a two count. Lazarus goes for the top rope and connects a diving knee drop right to Julius’ chest. He goes for another pin, but only gets a two count again. A back and forth then commences between Lazarus and Julius after he picked him up and Julius retaliated with some strikes. Julius has Lazarus backed up against the corner and connects a series of body blows, an uppercut and then pulls him out with the Butterfly DDT that he likes to call The Iniquities of the Selfish! Julius then transitions into a Double Arm Hook Chicken Wing that he calls The Tyranny of Evil Men. Lazarus is reaching for the ropes, but Julius pulls him away. Charon storms into the ring to break up the submission hold which triggers Pyro to storm in after. The two begin an all out brawl in the middle of the ring while the ref is counting for them to get out.
Luckily for both teams, Pyro went to clothesline Charon out of the ring, but he held on to send them both outside instead. This allowed Lazarus just enough time to sneak in a low blow from behind, forcing Julius to collapse to the mat. The ref didn’t see the low blow and just heard Lazarus screaming at him to pay attention as he was distracted by Pyro and Charon. He starts the pinfall attempt, but Julius is able to kick out at two. Pyro is able to get back to his feet and gets on the ropes to say something to the ref. Lazarus reaches down to pick up Julius, only to get a taste of his own medicine with a rake of the eyes. He’s temporarily blinded while Pyro gets back to his side and reaches for a tag. While doing so, Charon is already ready for Lazarus to make the tag and calls for him to do so.
A simultaneous tag is made so that Pyro and Charon are the legal men and both run into the ring to continue the brutal battle between the four. Charon attempts his Spinning Back Elbow again, but Pyro ducks and turns around quickly to hit his finisher called The Pyro Massacre. He falls on top to get the pinfall and the victory for Fire & Ice. Lazarus and Julius were both just about to slide into the ring, but weren’t able to in time.
WINNERS: Fire & Ice via pinfall.
SEMI-FINALS
Tag Team Match
SHINIGAMI NO TENSEI (1)
vs.
JÖRMUNGANDR (5)
With one match between them already, Swindle Shelldrake, Jay Crowley, Arata Asakura, and Havoc return to the ring, only one more victory away from reaching the final round. Crowley starts off the action for Jormangandr while Havoc steps in for Shinigami No Tensei. Early on, Havoc uses the momentum he’s feeling from the previous round to lay into Crowley with vicious strikes, quickly putting the Damned Heart on the defensive. After stunning Crowley with a discus lariat and then following up with a roundhouse kick, Havoc tries to end things early only for Swindle to rush into the ring and break up the attempted pinfall. This save turns Havoc’s attention towards Swindle, allowing Crowley to blindside him from behind and make the legal tag. Jormungandr then go to work doing what they do best, double teaming their prey with combination attacks.
Crowley hits a back suplex dropped into Swindle’s European Uppercut to start things off, but the members of Jormungandr continue to tag each other in and out of the ring to execute even more effective tandem moves. Shelldrake lands an enziguri followed by a tornado DDT from Crowley, but without them being aware, Arata is able to make a blind tag into the ring. The Gaijin Killer catches an unsuspecting Crowley with a dragon suplex to break the momentum, but before he can follow it up, Swindle flies in out of nowhere with a springboard missile dropkick! Both Crowley and Arata are down for a few moments before Jay finally tags out, and Swindle goes to work on the man he will be forced to team with at Night of Honor. That doesn’t cause Shelldrake to hesitate as he punishes Asakura with a series of various kicks. Even when Arata tries to mount a comeback, Swindle is quick to maintain his advantage with a rake of the eyes. Shelldrake eventually brings Crowley back into the fold, but before he leaves the ring he lifts Arata into a fisherman buster position while Jay superkicks Asakura in the jaw!
It looks as if Crowley and Shelldrake have things wrapped up as Jay lifts Arata as if he’s going to give him a tombstone, but then flips his body up so Shelldrake can hit a double knee lung blower! Instead, Havoc comes charging from outside of the ring to spear Crowley out from under Arata, who hooks the charging Shelldrake’s head to drive him down with a DDT! All hell breaks loose in the ring with the official barely able to maintain control as Arata locks on his Touch of Gold crossface to Swindle, while Havoc measures Crowley for his Dead Trigger! The move is right on target, and having lost track of who is legal, the referee makes the count as Havoc wraps up Crowley in a pin! With Swindle held in place by Asakura, there is no help for Crowley as he succumbs to the three count!
WINNERS: Shinigami No Tensei via pinfall.

Tag Team Match
FIRE & ICE (2)
vs.
SHINIGAMI NO TENSEI (1)
It all comes down to this as the teams of Fire and Ice and Shinigami No Tensei have both put down two other teams to reach the finals of Collision Course. Fatigue is likely a factor between all of them, but each man manages to hide it well as they enter for the championship match. Arata and Havoc are all business as they strategize in their corner, while on the opposite side of the ring, Julius and Pyro resort to a quick contest of thumb wrestling to see who will start for their team. The Messiah of Fire comes out on top as Julius can be heard complaining about his ‘lanky-ass thumbs’, while Havoc steps between the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. Not only are the two men facing each other for the Tag Team Championships, but in one short week they will meet again for The Noble Championship. This is no doubt on their mind as they forgo a lock-up in favor of throwing heavy punches toward each other. While they are even at first, Pyro eventually gets the best of the back and forth, as his punches drive Havoc into a neutral corner. From there, Pyro begins to unleash some of his signature offense, including some machine gun chops, a spinning back fist, and even some joint manipulation for good measure.
It isn’t until Havoc ducks under Pyro’s yakuza kick, that he has a moment to breathe, firing back at the bigger man with a superkick and a discus elbow. To make matters worse, Arata joins his partner as the plant Pyro with a tandem DDT. Julius runs in at this point in an attempt to even the odds, but his efforts are in vain as Arata greets him with a running high kick. After the referee clears the ring of the extra combatants, Arata continues to work over Pyro with a double knee strike a snap dragon suplex, but when he sends The Messiah of Fire into the corner and follows him in, he’s surprised by a sudden Silent Scream mandible claw! Arata is in serious trouble locked in the hold, but Havoc is quick to charge in and assist his partner by hitting his Dead Trigger running knee strike!
Both Arata and Pyro are down, but The Messiah of Fire is the first to stir as he crawls towards his corner. Finally shaking off the effects of the claw, Arata dives to prevent Pyro from tagging out, but he’s too late! Julius charges into the ring after the hot tag to land a flamboyant series of jabs and hooks on Arata, showing off his background in boxing. He then winds up to deliver a Royale With Cheese, but Havoc hooks his arm from behind! Julius spins around and kicks Havoc between the legs, and as he is not the legal man, there is little the referee can do about it! Havoc drops to the mat in pain, but his distraction still pays off as Arata springs off the ropes to nail Julius with a twisting cross body for a near fall!
Despite Julius kicking out, Arata isn’t done as he follows up with his Double A kick and then his Painkiller for good measure. Fairweather’s brief turn of the tables has been shut down, as Arata brings Havoc back into the match. Pyro tries to intervene, but the referee cuts him off as Shinigami No Tensei hit Julius with a combination of a spinning leg lariat and simultaneous legsweep. Again, he manages to kick out, but it’s easy to see that the Bad Motherfucker is losing steam with every move he’s hit with. Havoc and Arata continue to tag in and out, and each time Pyro is desperate to get into the ring to help his partner. Instead, this only allows Arata and Havoc to hit more double team moves. Finally, the referee catches Arata inside the ring, and having not seen the tag due to admonishing Pyro, he insists that Asakura leave the ring.
The Gaijin Killer argues his position with the referee, insisting that he’s in the ring legally. Meanwhile, Havoc has Julius locked in his Day of Reckoning and Fairweather is about to give up! Seeing the end is near, Pyro enters the ring while the referee is busy with Arata, and he wastes no time in throwing a fireball into Havoc’s face! The Day of Reckoning is released and Julius uses the last of his strength to roll Havoc up with a school boy pin of all things! Arata jumps in to make the save, but he’s a mere moment too late!
WINNERS: AND NEW PROJECT: HONOR TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS… PYRO & JULIUS FAIRWEATHER… FIRE & ICE!
AFTERMATH: The lights in the arena go out for a few seconds and gasps can be heard from the crowd. Both teams of Fire & Ice and Shinigami no Tensei are still in the ring. Suddenly, a lot of movement is heard in the ring with it sounding like bodies are dropped onto the mat. Once it goes quiet again, the lights turn back on to reveal The Massacre standing in the ring with broken light tubes in their hands. Julius Fairweather, Pyro, Arata Asakura and Havoc are all laying in pools of blood on the mat while Charon Seede and Lazarus Arjen stand over them. They drop their weapons on the mat, grab the Project: Honor Tag Team Championships from the Officials along with a microphone.
LAZARUS ARJEN: These don’t belong to you. We’ll be taking them, thank you very much.
The Massacre exit the ring with the Tag Team Championships on their shoulders as “Boogeyman” by Terrorbyte ft. Spencer Charnas hits the speakers. There is no motion in the ring at all as the cameras fade out to end the show.
