Backstage after Fallout XI:
Hana Nakajima is seen snatching a microphone away from PH Backstage officials, kicking them away as they try to protest as Havoc walks into the frame. Being a Japanese native, Nakajima touring along with Havoc gave her an opportunity to reconnect with her home country.
“Hello, Project Honor. It’s a pleasure to be in the Land of the Rising Sun and be your special correspondent as the man of the hour joins me for a chat. Please welcome, your soon-to-be Noble Champion, HAVOC!”
Havoc steps into the frame, looking irate as he takes in what transpired at Fallout XI. Seeing Hana does calm him down as a smirk appears on his face.
“You said it yourself. But I can’t seem to understand why I stupid fucking match where I have to go against my whole fabric of existence and RUN have a better reward than matches where I put my body on the line to EARN myself a title shot. But I will get to that when the time comes. I love it when Project Honor changes the rules and rewards of the match, just before it starts. Very professional, I must say! But I digress. The Noble Championship is all I am thinking about right now. I could go on and on about how Jason Long faked his fucking death just so he could AVOID facing me at Night of Honor. And now, he has been relinquished of the Noble Championship. This company is doing its part of protecting Jason -- I won’t be surprised if the whole Rapture/Redd/Arik thing was simply a way of getting Jason Long out of his sticky predicament. While I was only afforded a Noble Championship shot, it was in Project Honor’s best interest to protect their Prime Champion. And now I have to hear about him getting a chance at becoming a double champion again, with a potential title shot for the Legacy Championship? That fucking irks me. I don’t care about Syndicate or Julius but they might not even make it to Night of Honor because Jason’s greedy ass wants another piece of gold. Hey, at least now he gets to be in the main event being a part of a match that has Elena DeDraca’s name and title along with it. Good for him.”
Havoc sarcastically comments on the Prime and Legacy Championship picture heading into the biggest show of Project Honor’s history. He deems it to be a mess, considering a lot of people might not even get a shot that they earned just because Jason Long needs reparations for getting stabbed in his gut. Yet the people who have been putting their bodies on the line in insane matchups have to continue to be put through the wringer.
“That’s a good point! I have noticed that Project Honor certainly has a unique way of rewarding its employees. From one death-defying match to the other, with little to no care for the lives of the people involved. Fallout is a Serial Killer’s breeding ground and Christian DeMarco seems to be relishing every broken body that he is DIRECTLY responsible for. I am sure that you’re not particularly upset about beating these pathetic morons that believe they ever stood a chance to succeed in a blood-thirsty environment, but seeing that you’re out to save the unfortunate and the down-trodden… It goes against your ideals to keep beating on these people when they don’t stand a chance to dish back even a fraction of what you’re putting out. Mason Destruction got FIRED after having been dropped on his head through barbed wire. That is certainly not the way to treat your employees.”
Hana reiterates the supposed mistreatment of talent in Project Honor and the severe lack of regard for health codes.
“I feel bad for Mason. I really do. While I wouldn’t hesitate to drop anybody on their skull-- But taking someone’s livelihood away from them is not the kind of bad karma I want on my name. I have my own sense of moral code and I judge people on the basis of that. The people who exploit their position in the company or act entitled deserve no mercy. I will take their lives without skipping a heartbeat. But there’s a certain sense of regret in my mind when my hands are sullied with the blood of the unfortunate just so I can get myself to the next level. Mason was already having a bad day and I just made it worse. And now, he doesn’t have a job. He gets to go back and tell his family that he can’t pay the bills anymore because of something I did. I am sure Christian DeMarco or Rock Johnson-- I don’t care who came up with it, is having a swell of a time laughing at his misery. The corporate suits sit in the comfort of their business chairs while we put our bodies on the line on what seems like every show. Whether it be a table match or a barbed wire infested slugfest-- It doesn’t matter what it is, somebody is getting hurt. And what happens next? We don’t get paid enough for it and are told to do the same in two weeks’ time. There’s only so much one’s body can take. While the same cannot be said about me as I am not like the rest of the mortal human beings that occupy this planet-- most of the competition will be run down till there’s nobody left. What is Project Honor going to be without their wrestlers? WE should be the ones in control, not DeMarco. It is odd to see that Jason does not want revenge on Arik for what he did to him-- It’s almost like he orchestrated that himself. But if we take that strange note out of this story, one of the top champions in Project Honor nearly got STABBED to death by a random guy not even in the match, and the company couldn’t care less. He is facing Syndicate for a potential big-money match at Night of Honor-- But does that cure the trauma that he and his loved ones underwent? Don’t get me wrong, Jason deserved every fucking second of that and I am still upset that somebody else got to him before I could. Regardless of that, it’s not the image you want for your company, is it?”
Hana shakes her head in agreement.
“It’s absolutely disgusting how Project Honor consistently gets away with it. What kind of lawless world is this where nobody gives a shit if you live to see another day or not? Somebody SHOULD be held accountable and it’s clear that Project Honor doesn’t want to take any accountability for the bodies and careers destroyed. Just like it won’t take accountability for what you do to Pyro. I am sure you have a plan, knowing how capable your opponent is. He’s lucky that he got to be a killer at Fallout X. If you would have been afforded the same opportunity, and if Jason was the survivor-- Nobody would have walked away that night. Perhaps, Jason would have ended up in a body bag regardless of Arik’s interference. I know how much you wanted to face Jason, whether it is for a belt or not. While, you haven’t been given that chance yet and apparently people want you to EARN that chance, even though you’ve earned your title shot TWICE. What will you do? Jason will either have his hands full with Julius or Elena.”
Just the mere mention of the fact that Havoc wasn’t facing Long disgusted him. His anger started to seep through but Hana grabs him by the hand to calm him down. Havoc shakes his head in disappointment.
“I guess, I have no option but to take out my frustration on an innocent man like Pyro. Probably the last word anybody has used to describe this man but there is no animosity between the two of us. While he may have refused to join my side, I don’t blame him for it. My name hasn’t been portrayed in proper light here and the Noble Championship will be what turns the tide in my favor. When I do decimate him-- Maybe he’ll finally see the worth of what I was offering him, to begin with. Pyro COULD have been standing by my side as I challenged Jason Long at Night of Honor but in this timeline, Pyro hasn’t been made privy of what he’s missing. He may have the destructive power, but he’s aimlessly sparking chaos to no resolution while I would give him a purpose. Pyro-- We’ll get to him at Night of Honor. But I genuinely hold a grudge with this company for not letting me get my hands on their golden boy. Although, I am thankful that Jason lived. I would have to live my life with regrets if he was gone to the underworld. Cause let’s be honest, that boy is going to hell. Now, I get to send him down under after I am done getting things off my chest. Only then would I find solace. Night of Honor is around the corner-- And I am looking to take out my frustrations real soon.”
Havoc declared with sadistic intentions in mind. Hana lets out a chuckle knowing what’s next for the Nightmare King.
“It’s funny you say that because a little birdie told me what you’ll be doing at Fallout XII. It’ll be the perfect opportunity to take it all out. You are a part of a tag team match against Latoya Hixx and Earl Boyde.”
Hana declared with a terrifying smirk on her face. She realizes about the impending doom of Havoc’s opponents and visualizes the carnage left behind.
“I see. So, they had a change of heart. I don’t even know who these people are but I am aware of how insignificant they are in the grander scheme of things. I know how pathetic their career has been so far. I know how desperate they are to get any shine under the spotlight. Unfortunately for these two lost souls-- They won’t have that opportunity. Even if I wasn’t angry, they stood no chance, to begin with. Now? It’s even bleaker than it was before. People shouldn’t be talking about the odds of these clowns pulling off a miracle-- In life, we don’t deal with negative odds. What we should be talking about is the odds of them making it out alive! I am not the kind of guy to kick somebody while they’re already down but these fools already have one foot in the grave. Whether it be in terms of their career or health. If I DO end up taking their lives and consuming their souls-- There would be no consequences of that action. I don’t even think that their family cares about these two. Why would they let them constantly get humiliated for a mediocre cheque that would never suffice their monthly needs? It’s such a pathetic cycle to be a part of that I frankly feel that’d be obligated to me for saving them from this endless cycle. They should thank me when it’s said and done and I will kiss them goodbye as I close the lid on their coffin. Latoya and Earl quite accurately represent the state of this company. These two mindless fools have been sent to their death and I am sure Christian DeMarco would PREFER if that were to happen. They know that I am upset so I would take drastic measures to get their attention. So he sent these two helpless morons to their death as he enjoys the aftermath from the comfort of his chair. I don’t like that he has that power over us. There will be a day when I get my hands on him-- But to get to him, I have to do everything that is possible in this company. It starts with becoming the Noble Champion. Winning the tag belts with Arata. Winning the Prime Championship and take Jason Long’s life in the process. All things that I will achieve. Before we get to the first step, we’ve got some bottom-feeder talent to take care of. Speaking of which, you said it’s a tag team match even though a partner wouldn’t be necessary-- Who I am teaming with?”
Havoc wondered as Hana’s expression changed knowing her partner’s opinion about this individual.
“Well-- It’s somebody you have faced before. Legacy Champ, Elena DeDraca.”
Havoc’s smile disappeared from his face as he stared into the distance thinking about his partner.
“That is certainly interesting. An easy day for the champ too, is it? I feel being considerate this time over since we weren’t exactly cordial in our last meeting. She can stand on the apron, looking tough while I dispose of these cretins. Maybe she’ll finally be appreciative of my talents. Or maybe she’ll continue being stuck up entitled little bitch that has gotten opportunities after opportunities that she perhaps didn’t deserve. Hey, that’s just my opinion. I know she has no reason to care about what I have to say. She need not worry either. I am not going to sandbag just so she can have a blemish on her nearly spotless record. But Christian DeMarco needs to be more careful before making such matches. Night of Honor is around the corner. The most marquee show of the year for the company, soon after it celebrated its one-year anniversary. It’s clear that this company values Elena’s position on the proverbial ladder, placing her at the very top since the moment I remember. It would be a shame if something were to happen to her right before the big show. After all, they’re pushing towards Jason Long to win his match against Syndicate just so they can set up yet another big-money match. While DeMarco has made it really hard for me to get my hands on Jason. I do have the second piece of the puzzle staring right at me come Fallout XII. And if really wanted, I could change plans in an instant. While Latoya and Earl will be dealt with-- What if Elena ends up getting hurt? What if Elena gets the Jason Long treatment and has a knife stuck right into her gut? What if Elena ends up landing straight on her skull driven with a force that would crush the HARDEST of metals with ease? I wouldn’t wish that upon Elena. I wouldn’t want to ruin the plans for Project Honor, now do I? It’s not like they took something REALLY important away from me, is it? I am joking baby! You know I wouldn’t do that.”
Havoc uttered the last sentence playfully, teasing Hana for what he might or might not do. The anger inside of me sure did want to push him towards taking a drastic step that would put Fallout on notice. He had to weigh the consequences of his actions before he took such a step-- but it certainly crossed his mind. Havoc had calmed down in comparison and looked at Hana with confidence.
“Elena has nothing to worry about. We have that match in the bag. All she needs to do is watch her back. Because I will be lurking, waiting to strike when the time is right. And the time COULD be right at Fallout XII. Time will tell. I am glad you could come, Hana. You witnessed the Nightmare King take his first step as a free man. Free of being held back by Chris. Now, you’ll see him ascend to the next level. Night of Honor-- I want you by my side. You will walk along with me for this journey, won’t you?”
Havoc chuckled to himself as he ran his finger through Hana’s hair as she looked transfixed on every word that he had to say. She lets out a terrifying demonic smirk as the scene comes to an end.
