APPEARANCE: Formerly a steampunk fanatic, Bodhi has traded in her trademark goggles, hats and tights for a more streamlined bad-ass style. Black clothes, torn shirts, dark make-up and a 'dont approach me attitude' completes her aesthetic.

IN-RING: She likes to keep it simple, sexy and flexible. Supportive sports top paired with flexible pants/ leggings. She sometimes mixes it up with shorts, sometimes a one-piece leotard, maybe a corset now and then. Key word in every outfit- sexy.


BACKSTAGE: Like above, but a bit more conservative. Torn jeans, leather jackets, t-shirts, hoodies etc. But still simple, sexy and flexible. She's confident in her own body and loves to show that off. She does wear fancy dresses/ corset outfits if it is a special occasion however.

The lights dim as the slow crazed laughter fills the arena, the funky electronic beat of 'Lapdance' creeping from the PA system. The fans know who is coming, and react accordingly with cheers and excitement. The foul mouthed, ill-tempered 'Bad Bitch' makes her way out from the gorilla position, just in time for the initial beat of the track, timing it well with a series of bright lights beaming up from the stage. 

Bodhi.

She pauses on stage, hands on her hips as she surveils the crowds before her, then slowly makes her way towards the ring. She circles the ring and stops at the south side, climbing on the apron to stop once more and look at the cameras. She kisses her tips and motions to blow a kiss, but instead flips the bird to the viewers with a malicious grin on her face before she enters the ring. Awaiting her opponent she finds the far side of the ring and leans against the ropes, casually undressing her backstage gear as she prepares for the match.

BIOGRAPHY

An international superstar in the ring, Bodhi has made a big name for herself across the wrestling world. A former hoodrat, she turned her passion and drive for success into ruthless aggression within the squared circle and quickly became a fan favourite.

Her journey began in the XHF Network, a collective of numerous federations within a singular umbrella. Ascension Wrestling Federation (AWF) was her first step, where her journey began purely as a manager and guide for Hyperion. Their partnership is a strange one, with tumulus ups and downs (Hyperion exists due to her overdosing James Knox with an experimental hallucinogenic drug, thus enlarging his dormant schizophrenia disorder) …it's a long story.  Together they reigned dominant, and Bodhi herself even wrestled for a short stint before receiving a greater offer to travel to Japan and be the face of a newly forming federation - Sakura Shoujo Stampede (SSS). With her relationship quickly turning dangerous, Bodhi decided to abandon Hyperion to his newly-amassed cult-following and left for Japan.

She rose faster than expected within the SSS and became their inaugural champion, the Goddess of Sakura. After a successful reign, Bodhi decided to bring a close friend of hers into the fold, an Australian pal aptly nicknamed Boom-Boom for her love of all things explosions / pyromania. The newly formed team up called themselves F.E.M. and began to draw attention from all directions, but quickly the numbers were up against the duo. Bodhi faced adversity on all directions, with teams lining up to take on the duo. Exhausted and drained Bodhi sadly lost her Goddess of Sakura championship to a long running rival, Kuroi Yami. 

Taking a short hiatus, Bodhi returned with more fire in her eyes and sought to reclaim her honor. Bodhi and Boom-Boom reformed the new team of Animus, with a fresh approach to their style. This lead them onto even more success, winning tournaments and ultimately being crowned the new IJWF Tag Team Champions. 

The team continued to fight and defend their titles well into 2020 but a brutal tag team gauntlet ultimately saw them lose their coveted prizes to the new champions, Dodo-A-Gogo. A defeat followed swiftly by a backstage assault on the team forced Boom-Boom into an early retirement, and the end of the duo in the ring. 

Vengeful as ever, Bodhi learned of who her attacks were, least who gave the orders - Hanaka Takeuchi, the reigning XHF Women's Champion. The top of the pyramid, the ultimate boss. Hoping to end Bodhi's rise there and then, Hanako sent a squad to break the hopes and dreams of her future challenger... but only lit a fire that would burn so brightly. Bodhi got to face Hanaka for the belt at the 'Psychedelic Violence' PPV, and the name couldn't have been sweeter. She kicked ass, and she took the XHF Women's Championship. The biggest damn prize in the whole family of federations. 

Things couldn't get any better for Bodhi in Japan, but the homeland was calling to her and she needed to spend some alone time on US soil. She returned to her old stomping grounds in Bushwick, New York and made some business choices, namely purchasing a local stripjoint and rebranding it... Sirens. A familiar name from her and Hyperion's past. 

She was ready to settle into the easy going life of a Champion once again, when trouble called. A blast from the past she thought she was done with.

Hyperion... he was back.
