There she sat, just days before the latest FallOut show. Seated in front of the television with a large bowl of popcorn and some juice boxes. One hand shoveled popcorn into her mouth and the other scribbled notes onto the page in front of her. It wasn't as if she needed the notes, but just things to keep in mind with the final day of training later on. A combination of game shows she had seen when she was just a kid. That was what she was up against this week. She'd be telling the truth when she said she had this in the bag. In fact, as she sat there watching an episode of GUTS, she pulled out her cellphone and set it up a few feet away against the bottom of the dresser. Primed and ready to spout out some words to her "opponent" this week. Legs crossed carefully as she swallowed down another handful of popcorn, before drinking the rest of her fifth juice box. Tossing it into the trashcan with a long shot, she watched as it hit the rim, before falling over the edge into the can. She pumped her arm in triumph, before gaze settled on the camera filming her.
A grin crossing her features as she waved casually. "Hiiii guys! It's me, Savannah. You already knew that though, huh?" There's gentle laughter as she mutes the television to drown out the background noise of it. "Sorry, just been trying to refresh my memory on some things regarding this weeks challenge set before me. Sure, DeMarco has his issues just like the next person. But, this is kind of my own literal playground! No one knows these kinds of things more than I do. I mean, I wanted to be on all of these kinds of shows when I was just a girl. But, we didn't have the kind of money for trips around the world and such." She dusted her hands off, sighing gently as she pulled a knee up to rest her chin atop it as silence filled the air for a moment.
"Pixie and I have been rooming together a lot lately. She's got her own demons to deal with and I don't want to see her get hurt. But, at the end of the day... We are still opponents. She has something in her clutches that I want and I have to do what I need to in order to make sure I capture it." She pauses, nodding firmly at her own words. "In this instance, things are a little different this week. We're not wrestling each other, but we are in some pretty interesting challenges! I don't know about Pixie, but this sounds like a whole lotta' fun to me. I mean, what more could a chick ask for than to live out her childhood dreams?!" The excitement in her veins was palpable and she was sure that everyone watching this could tell. "I don't plan on making this an easy win for Pixie and I know she doesn't plan on going easy on me either. But, I'm going to make sure I come out of this at the top so that means I have some kind of one-up on her. Imagine that, me... Savannah Sunshine having a leg up on the competition. Well, that sounds like a damn good time to me!" She clasped her hands together, promptly placing them into her lap with a forlorn sigh. It's gentle, though a frown soon finds itself across her face.
"Everyone has had a lot to say about me lately due to my new... friendship with Redd. But, I don't really care what anyone says anymore. I know what I'm doing. I'm a big girl. He's done nothing to prove that he's out to harm me like everyone believes. He's on my team and I'm super thankful for him. He's done a lot for me lately and it's a much needed boost in my confidence. He knows that I can handle myself. Knows what I am truly capable of and ensures that he helps me reach my full potential. Say what you want, but that doesn't sound like a bad guy in my book." She shrugs, legs stretching out ahead of her as she leans back on her hands. A gentle yawn falling from her lips as she glances at the television. The reflection of it shining in those eyes of hers, you can tell she's lost a bit in her own thoughts. Though, a pause in the competition forces her to remember just what she was doing. Her gaze drifts back towards the camera and a grin replaces the dark look she once wore. Dimples embedded into cheeks and eyes brightening as she sits up once more.
"I've more than proven that I belong here. I don't care what anyone has to say about me anymore. I don't care what anyone thinks of me. I'm no longer doing things to prove myself to everyone. I'm doing what I have to do in order to make sure I make it to the top of the food chain by any means necessary. I will no longer be a little minnow in a pond full of sharks. I will be the shark who tears apart anyone who dares stand in their way to glory and gold. Make no mistake about it, I respect Pixie a whole heck of a lot. But, all is fair in this business of war. Blood will be shed and tears and sweat will be shed as well. But, only one person can be the victor." She mouths the words this time instead of saying them out loud. "Spoiler alert: It's me!" She points towards herself after mouthing the words and lets out a laugh. "Well, that's all I really have to say for now. I hope Pixie brings her best luck to the show in a few days... because she's absolutely going to need it." Savannah leans forward, stopping the camera as the scene fades to black a moment later.
