CONTINUED FROM: THAT HOPE IS YOU - PART ONE.
“Are you sure about this, Levi?”
That question pondered around his head for a solid moment due to how after the successful failure that came to be SUPERNOVA ruined the perfect moment planned out for Levi’s in-ring return from competition, but alas, the question has once again fallen on deaf ears. A zoned out Levi sat within his room of House Kirstein, blank expression amongst other things rumbling around in his head. “Levi, can you speak? What is wrong, brother?”
His biological brother, Damian, had been sitting within the room and awaiting a response from his sibling, but the trance-like state has left Levi within silence, and the more that Damian speaks it seemed like the more everything was ignored. Levi’s brother began to click his fingers within his face, snapping him back into reality and back into the focus of his brother.
“I’m… sorry. I don’t know what went over me.”
Damian let out a soft chuckle, “Daydreaming, were you?”
“I wouldn’t call it that specifically,” Levi calmly replied. “But that question, it’s been so heavily asked by many around me, as if there’s doubts about my position--about my own safety, it seems. I don’t know what’s gotten into them, brother, I couldn’t tell you for the life of me-”
“Not used to many asking if you’re okay with something, oh great master?”
Levi looked up to his brother with a blank stare before rolling his eyes at him and turning away.
“Brother, why do you mock me?”
“Because, Levi, your vision to me...” Damian crouches down to the head height of Levi. “Wouldn’t make the slightest sense to me. I’m not a professional wrestler. I’m a footballer. If someone turned around to me and told me they are a god of the new world or whatever it is you say. Then said they’d fix football into a better vision, I’d laugh in their face and tell them how ridiculously fucking stupid they sound right now.”
“I wouldn’t like to use some sort of reference to Joker but seriously, you wouldn’t understand.”
Damian lowered his head and shook it, standing back up before taking a seat right beside his brother as Levi gave him a quick glance over before turning his head back to it’s original position.
“But you understand what I mean?”
“Clearly not, brother.” Taking a deep sigh as he adjusts his posture.
“People do care about you--or those who follow you do at least. Just know that this whole thing about you being ‘The God of The New World’ isn’t going to go well with others. If they want to continue doing those videos of themselves talking, that’s the first thing they’ll bring up.” Damian nudged himself into Levi. “And what will you do when they doubt a said ‘god’, anyway? Ignore it? Allow them to walk all over you?”
“Never. To them, I am the absolute. I am what creation has been awaiting for in human form. Absolute perfection. They wouldn’t know about myself being ‘The God To The New World’, because it’s a vision to myself and those in House Kirstein, including you. Those who question my rank, they’ll fall in line with the rest that have come and gone from House Kirstein.”
“So what will you do? Please me, let me know what’s going on in that head of yours, Levi.”
Levi continued to look forward and kept that blank expression on his face and already, the gears were slowly beginning to turn in Levi’s head, he knew what Damian was attempting at and it was working perfectly. To get right into his head. To make himself rethink everything. Allowing those gears to turn until he could snap.
“God brought them into this world, brother. The story of life, is it not?”
“That’s what they say anyway.”
A glance over from his brother as a slight smirk appears on his face. “Then God will take them out of this world too. By his bare fucking hands.”
“Fuck introductions.”
Levi’s vocals opened up the scene as the opening camera shot begins within House Kirstein, in the main hall and the view from where we fade in showing the ‘throne’ that Levi Kirstein sits in. The Absolute seems peaceful, as he should be considering he’s about to finally get back into the real world and create the vision into his own reality. One he’s hoping the world can see sooner rather than later.
“I’m saying that in the most positive way I can because to enlighten you all, I don’t intend to entertain the masses like a puppet on some strings. I’m not going to sit here and tell you all you need to know about me, I don’t need to sit here and tell you who the fuck I am and what story I bring to the table. None of it matters to wrestling at all but we bring it up so people can pity us. Much like your Ascension Champion has done before.”
“Though I’m sure you’ll tell me what I already know, kind of twist things around and make it look good for you on paper but when you think about it, it’s kind of robotic to just list down things I’ve done in my past and use it against me as if it’ll hurt me in any kind of way,” a shrug of his shoulders. “Kind of useless and pointless when you ask me. And they tell me that making an introduction is a great way to become ‘popular’ with the ‘fans’ around the world. It’s no wonder fans of professional wrestling have become so absorbed with the bullshit that’s been going on right now that they’ve become numb in their cranium.” Pointing right to his head. “Supporting those with the stories and not those who want to create a new world for those around them, a world where everything about professional wrestling becomes itself again, no stories about how you’re a terrible father or your dog died, but gritty fucking fighting and tearing one another apart. That’s what Fallout is all about, right?”
“Do you think people here will weep when they hear about your stories? No, they’ll call you a fucking pussy for it. Fallout, to me, is like how I imagine sitting in prison being. Nobody in here wants to hear your fucking stories, champ. Nobody gives a shit about your fucking children.” Levi’s expression soon changes to a slight smile, nodding his head. “Spare the pettiness for those who care.”
“But what about those who once claimed to be gods? Suppressing the memories of being one because people didn’t quite believe in you or were those boots that were way too big for your feet? It’s an embarrassment that we’ve come so far from what we once knew gods from being and yet, in today’s example, it seems everyone and everything is ‘godly’ so long as you know what you’re talking about. Nine-time World Champion? At one point, you were one of--if not the best there was. Though I’ve been aware of you, I’ve seen your work elsewhere and allow me to tell you, you’re not as intimidating as you might think you are.” Levi quickly rolled his eyes. “Full of yourself, seemingly complacent with yourself, proud of the things you’ve done. I understand what it’s like having an ego because we’ve got one or somehow will have one but man, you truly are a self-loathing bastard for nothing. Nine world championship reigns and not one person gives a shit about them. They mean nothing around here.” A small chuckle under his breath. “You’re a man who thinks he’s deserving of the world around him, you deserve some of those championships that have become vacant overtime, and that’s just from the first time we hear from you.
“From one God to another, who the hell are you meant to be again? ‘Los Angeles Outlaw’, what a stupid fucking name.”
The Absolute leaned forward, the silence was almost deafening as Levi looked back up. A confident smile soon began to grow on his face as he once again began to nod his head, Levi seemed to calm himself down before beginning to speak again.
“But it’s never about what you bring to the table but how you present yourself and allow me to demonstrate to you, little white rose. The way you speak to us, it seems like you want to become this leader of sorts and to be frank with you -- there’s nothing convincing about you as a leader when all I’ve seen you do is fall out of place over and over again.” Shaking his head once again. “For someone like you that’s supposed to be a leader, it’s like calling yourself a ‘God’ but not because even yourself knows that you couldn’t handle and hold the moniker of God yourself. Do you know how many times I’ve been doing this and stumbled upon the ‘messiah’-like person here and there. Always trying to send a message about something and thinking everything they say is right. Little white rose, everyone can see through the bullshit that you’re always speaking about. Are you even sure about trying to fight against those who are more awake than you might be? You’re fighting a losing battle, little white rose. Stand down before you hurt yourself even more. I wouldn’t want to see something happen to you before we meet in that ring, you know?”
“From here on out, the rest doesn’t even matter to myself anymore. It’s a pile of bones stacked up onto one another, just a pile of bodies to add onto the mix so it seems like it’s one large ‘clusterfuck’ as these fans would like to call them. The names of Daniel Horror and Kagobe Akaibara, don't threaten me--even if one of those might be my ‘tag partner’, if you will.” A quick scoff. “Curtis and Bam Miller? Nothing to me. Latoya Hixx and Bezerk? Again, just a pile of shit stacked on top of one another. You could have put five, you could have put ten, and you could have put twenty people in this match and still the end result would have been the same, my friends. You see, my goal here in Project: Honor and in Fallout is the exact same as it was when I was looking to make a name for myself on the SUPERNOVA brand before it was quickly scrapped. My goal has been the exact same as it was for the past three years. I didn’t come here for play dates and demand pity the minute I walk in the door like some of these people do now, did I?” Pausing for effect, a classic troupe for Levi. “I walked in here, took my place at the table and told you how it fucking is without even mentioning their names once. That Ascension Championship is a wonderful prize, I’m sure. But that’s not what I want because my prize is finally opening the gates between here and The New World. I want my vision to become a reality and soon, after Fallout is over with and I rip and shred through every single bastard there is in that ‘clusterfuck’, I will let those who follow me into the new world and allow them to ascend with me.”
“I am The Absolute, the perfect creation of any human. I am the man who will take Project: Honor by it’s head and cut it’s throat cleanly off. If you’re begging for honor, if you’re begging for pride, if you’re begging for anything around me… you’ll get none of it. You’ll be laying under my boot and licking the fucking floor beneath you. I am Levi Kirstein, and I’m glad you finally got to hear my name, because it’ll be the next thing you hear after the words ‘and new, Project: Honor Ascension Champion’.”
“Please… try and fucking stop me.”
Fade to black.
