----Scene 1---- The Arrival
The scene opens to a beautiful sunny afternoon noon at the parking lot of Coliseo General Ruminahui. In the distance a Harley can be seen and heard driving twords the arena. As it gets closer it appears to have a side car attached to it. The Harley makes the turn into the parking lot as it drives into frame Bam Miller is seen riding the Harley with Curtis sitting in the side car with a huge smile on his face. Bam parks the Harley and jumps off and starts unloading his gear. Curtis takes off his helmet and places it on the handle bar closest to him.
Curtis - What an absolutely beautiful ride to work that was. I can't belive we are going to wrestle in such a majestic place. That Harley ride was amazing. The wind whiping through my hair.
Bam - You had a helmet on like a scared little puppy.
Curtis - I know you and the way you ride that thing. I wanted to make sure at least one of us showed up for the match next week.
Bam - Never in a million years did I ever imagine haveing a fucking side car on my damn Harley. Takes such a badass thing and makes it look silly. The things I do fo you.
Curtis - Because we are best friends forever
Bam - The forever part is what worries me.
Curtis - Well I would have ridden on the back but you refused to let me do that. Either way we have finally made it to Project Honor man. This is so awesome. I can't belive we get to show our talents to a whole new locker room and new bosses. All people I will refer to as future friends.
Bam - Curtis we aren't here to make friends.
Curtis - Maybe you're not but I'm always looking for new friends. A few short months ago when you joined IIW we didn't know eachother. Now look at us best friends for life branching out from IIW looking so spread peace and love all over the globe.
Bam - That's not at all what I'm looking to do. Curtis you need to understand how this all works here. We are the new kids around here, we automatically have targets on our backs and we will need to fight our way to the top. We are the young hot shots from another fed looking to break out here. People aren't going to like us.
Curtis - Not with that attitude they won't. Look I get all that Bam I really do. I have been in many feds through the years and I completely understand how it works. That doesn't mean I need to just blindly accept that as fact. Yes we will fight and fight really well. They doesn't mean we can't have a good time while doing it. That doesn't mean we can't build life long bonds with the people we are going into battle against. Wrestling is a test of skill and strength, both of which we have in droves. It doesn't need to be a battle filled with hate and distrust. The better team wins that's the long a short of it man.
Bam - With an attitude like that how have you made it this far in life? I just don't understand how after doing this for as long as you have how you haven't gotten beaten down and broken. You're a very acquired taste you know as well as I do that most people really dislike you when they first meet you. For some reason you rub them the wrong way.
Curtis - I rubbed you the right way though.
Bam - WHOA....WHOA....WHOA, Stop saying things like that. Saying things like that is exactly why people immediately don't like you when they first meet you.
Curtis - You know I do know how I'm viewed by people Bam. I'm painfully aware that by being the best version of my self, and just being nice to people everyone hates me and assumes I have ill intentions. I know all of that but I refuse to let how other peoples view of me change who I am as a person. I am who I am like it or not. I'm the guy who will give my last few bucks to someone in need, I'm the guy who regularly volunteers at nursing homes you've meet my friends Agatha, Rose and Blanche. They are wonderful people.
Bam - Yes I have met your friends the golden girls. I've been meaning to talk to you about that you need some freidns closer to your own age man. They are filling your head with hard candy and Metamucil.
Curtis - I got you and them and that's all i need.
Bam - Yeah....... it's true you got me.
Curtis - I'm the guy who reguardless of what is done to me will continue to look for the best in everyone. I don't live in a world where people are inherently evil I always belive I can change them and help them become better. We aren't here for a long time so let's make the best of it all and just be happy and kind to one and other.
Bam - That's some real hands across America shit. You're truly one of a kind Curtis. I do admire the fact that you don't seem to ever have a bad day. No matter what's said or done to you, you have this ability to brush it off and not let it bother you. There is something special about about.
Curtis - Look at me Bam, I'm short and weigh almost nothing. Just making it to this level of professional wrestling is pretty darn amazing if you ask me. I refuse to let anything hold me back. Why would I care at all what others think about me. You know my family history better than almost anyone seeing as you hate my birth father. I was delt a less than steller hand in life rather than accept that fate I trained my ass off and made the decision I would become the greatest wrestler in the history of this sport.
Bam - Next to me that is.
Curtis - No Bam even better than you are. I need to be able to back up everything I say. It's not trash talk at all if anything it's up lifting, sincere and coming from the heart. In order to not be looked at as a joke I need to step into that ring and show everyone including myself that I do belong and I'm not less than becssue I'm a small nice guy. Sometimes nice guys finish first and I will show the entire world that. Look at us as a team though. You're one of the most bad ass, hard hitting, hard drinking, toughest people I have ever met yet we became fast buddies and now are taking the world by storm as the hottest new tag team around.
Bam - You're right Curtis I am all of those things and then some.
Curtis - You speared my father off the top of a war games cage and walked away like nothing happen. Who can do that. You called out the biggest names in IIW your first week there and made them respect you when you took them the distance in that ring. You managed to swindle an entire federation (still amazed by that one) and won a title in like your first month. I've also never seen someone consume so much alcohol and still be able to function before in my life, it's absolutely astounding. But your biggest accomplishment was becoming my best friend hands down.
Bam - Curtis my biggest fan.
Curtis - I am Bam you know that. We have definitely changed eachother. I have changed you for the better I feel. You have brought out a slight edge in me. I just rode a motorcycle.
Bam - Slow down you rode in a side car. So sappy Curtis you always are it's almost too much. It's also really weird to me that all this time you're still sitting in the damn side car. Get up let's go find the locker room.
Curtis - Hey its oddly comfortable.
Curtis stands up and steps out of the side car. He opens the little hatchback on the side car retrieving his bag. Both men enter the building.
-----Scene 2----- Settling In
The scene opens to the Nice and Hammered locker room. Curtis is hanging up a poster of a cat hanging from a tree branch that reads hang in there and Bam is sitting in the corner of the locker room with his feet up and apparently asleep. Someone knocks on the door. Curtis hops of the bench and goes to answer.
Delivery guy - Hey I got a package for Bam Miller here he needs to sign for.
Curtis - Bam get up you got a package.
Bam stirs awake, walks to the door signs for the package then slams the door.
Curtis - That was rude. You didn't even say thank you.
Bam - He did his job, I did what was asked of me. No words where required.
Curtis - That's a big package what the heck did you have shipped here.
Bam - 4 cases of Miller lite on ice ready to drink.
Curtis - Come on you didn't really have 4 cases of beer delivered all the way from America to here. We are only going to be here for a few days man. I'm sure they got beer here you can drink.
Bam - I only drink Miller lite beer you know that. Also it's not 4 cases total. It's 4 cases per day that we are here. I want to have all my bases covered. I need to be a well oiled machine if we are going to impress everyone next Fallout. Without my Miller Lites Im just not at my best and you want me at my best don't you?
Curtis - I do yes.
Bam - Then don't hate on my system man.
Curtis - Win or lose I'm just glad that we are getting the opportunity to show the brass here what we can do.
Bam - Lose? No No we will win at Fallout Curtis. I don't care about showing the brass anything I just care about winning the match. That puts us one step closer to the tag team titles. We aren't even on the main card it's a dark match.
Curtis - It's an opportunity to showcase our team and talent level.
Bam - It's a slap in the face is what it is. We are better than that and you know it. We deserve to be heavily featured on the main card and it's fucking
bullshit that we aren't.
Curtis - Everyone starts at the bottom and has to work their way up. It's how it works everywhere. We will be in a top spot soon enough. We just need to prove that we are worthy of being there.
Bam - YouTube would prove that we are worthy, watch any of the IIW shows on Netflix they would absolutely prove that we are worthy.
Curtis - There is no doubt in my mind that we will preform fantastically at Fallout and really turn some heads. This will be our one and only dark match trust me.
Bam - I don't know why but I do trust you. You're right if we do what we do best we will get to the main show and be players here very soon. You know anything about this assholes we are facing.
Curtis - Not really no. On the flight over here I was trying to look them up but it would appear they have made little to no impact at all. Last month on Fallout they each had a singles match I did see that.
Bam - Great a thrown together tag team that's not a real team for our first match. Man this place seems just great already.
Curtis - I don't mean to make it worse but I want you know all the facts. They where both pre show dark matches then as well.
Bam - WHAT THE FUCK
Curtis - Language!
Bam - Whatever man let's do stomp these clowns out quick and move on.
Curtis - Couldn't find much on Rapture unfortunately. My guess though is he is some kind of crazy church guy or some stright nut who just wants to hurt people.
Bam is scrolling through a tablet.
Bam - I got his roster page open and it's the latter of the 2. He just wants to hurt people and hear them scream. Sounds like my kind of guy.
Curtis - Well that's a terrible thing to want to do. I don't get how anyone can go through life just wanting to hurt people. Also people screaming is worse than nails on a chalk board. Rapture sounds like a monster. Does it say anything on his page than may show he isn't all bad. Surely no one is all bad.
Bam - Nah all bad. Grew up in Canada in the woods alone. Canada will definitely do that to you. Moved to America lived in solitude and finds pleasure it all the wrong things. So nope it's all bad however you slice it.
Curtis - That's not true. Yeah it's a lot of bad but he lived alone. He is a lonely man Bam he doesn't have any friends or family it sounds like. Im sure if I just politely say hello and shake his hand he will change his tune.
Bam - That's all fine and well but what happens when that doesn't work and he doesn't change his tune and punches you in the mouth?
Curtis - Thats the easy part than we lock up and I show him I am small and nice but wrestle like no one he has ever seen. I can handle Rapture in that ring I'm sure of it. I refuse to let him inflict pain and he will never hear me scream unless we go on a rollercoaster or something. I'm not out to hurt anyone but I know I have trained harder than anyone else in Project Honor and I will show everyone just how good I really am.
Bam - Trust me i know that. I'm not worried about that aspect of us being here. You're one of the most pure athletes I have ever seen. I know we are the best tag team here by far and we haven't even had a match yet.
Curtis - I saw that dude Poblanos promo from a month or so ago. He answered his phone while driving at 120 miles an hour. That's absolutely reckless. How can anyone have such little care for themselves or anyone one else that happened to be on the road. Than all he could talk about was how he needed to move his bowels. He seems like a full on degenerate who needs to be taught a lesson in how to behave in public. I need to have a nice long sit down talk with him and make him see the error in his ways. The way he acts and presents him self is an absolute embarrassment to everyone here at Project Honor.
Bam - Screw a sit down. We are going to beat his ass so bad he forgets who he is. There is nothing redeemable about this clown. Rapture and Poblano are 2 complete jokes who can't make it out of dark matches. We are just passing through on our way to the top.
Curtis - I agree that we was passing through, I'm also aware we will beat them at Fallout but we don't need to hurt anyone. Again you know my stance on that. These matches are exhibitons of skill.
Bam - I do know your stance Curtis but you also know mine. I can and will hurt people every time I get the chance. I don't care about changing people or helping them help themselves. Any of that stuff you really care about. I care about being the best and winning matches. Showing the world that we are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to tag team wrestling. No one is better than us and we will show this fed, no we will show the world. Fuck Rapture and Poblano they are step one on our rise to the top. Together we are a great combination of talent. You and I know that and it's time we show the world. We are polar opposites in almost every way, what you lack in willingness to hurt people I more than make up for.
Curtis - What you lack in staying calm and cool headed and making a plan I more than make up for. A real Yin and Yang situation. Either way you look at things we are a perfectly balanced team with the perfect skill set to rise to the top here and become the #1 tag team anyone in Project Honor has ever seen.
Bam - You're God damn right we are. There is no team anywhere in the world especially not here in Project Honor than can even hold a candle to Nice and Hammered. Here drink this let's go.
Bam tosses Curtis a beer from the cooler that was just delivered. Curtis looks at it and throws it right back to Bam.
Curtis - My body is a temple and you know I would never put that poison into it. Plus I would never want to be the one to drink your beer. I've seen what happens when you run out. I'm not ready for that argument.
Bam - Vaild point there. One day I will get you to share a beer with me.
Curtis - I will make you a deal Bam, when we win the Project Honor tag titles I will share many beers with you I promise.
Bam - HA so in like a month or 2 then. Perfect. Looks like it's time to get to work and get ready for these assholes.
Curtis - I don't think we will need to try all that hard these guys don't seem like much of a threat to us. We are far better than they are in every conceivable way.
Bam - Was that you're attempt at trash talk?
Curtis - It was. It's not my strong suit seeing as I barely do it but sometimes just sometimes things need to be said. Normally I would let my superior wrestling ability shine and show my opponents that way but there is something about these 2 that rubs me the wrong way.
Bam fake coughs *Jobbers*
Curtis - I wouldn't go that far but I do like where you're head it at. We got this man I know we do. Can't wait for Fallout.
Both me laugh. Bam cracks open a beer as Curtis goes back to hanging motivational posters on the wall. The scene fades to black.
