"Well, usually I don't just jump right into things. But, this time? I figure I've got a lot to say and I need to get this stuff off my chest. Now, I'm going to briefly address a few things before I delve into the important stuff. Number one, HIIIIII PYROOOOO~!" There's a gentle wiggle of fingers towards the camera, as she finally comes into view properly, the small tiny tot who was setting up the phone into position moving back into his mothers lap. Savannah promptly shifts him a bit, just until his head rests against her chest so that those watching could properly see the pair. The tiny tot in her lap lets out a peal of child-like laughter, as he nuzzles into his mother comfortably. "And today, I've got a very special guest. I don't think any of you have had the pleasure of meeting him. So, brief introductions before I start blabbing." She wraps her arms around the boys waist, just holding him happily. "This tiny tot is my pride and joy, my biggest fan, my baby boy. Say hi to everyone, Ky'." She glances down at her son, who waves excitedly at the camera. Bright grin on his lips as dimples indent on cheeks. "Hiiii!" Laughter soon follows and he grows quiet once more as Savannah shifts comfortably in their spot beneath the willow tree in her backyard. It's the first time in awhile that she's had him solely on her own. A gentle breeze blowing over them momentarily as she clears her throat.
"With my good luck charm back where he belongs, I figure it's a sign of good things to come. Unlike last week when two jerk faces decided to do some really uncool things." She moves around a bit, sliding her son from her lap, back onto the blanket where he settles down. Content on going back to his coloring book as Savannah focuses on the task at hand. "Last go around, I ran into a bit of trouble after my match. Drago decided to be a sore loser and my absolutely amaaaaaazing friend, Pyro, decided to stick his nose where it doesn't belong. A lot of stuff happened and I ended up in quite a precarious situation." She grimaces momentarily, absentmindedly rubbing at her arm, a phantom pain following the memory. "But, that's not going to stop me by a long shot. I'm not here to be a damsel in distress. In fact, that is not who I am. I might be Jason's girlfriend, but I'm not about to be some silly little plot device in whatever mess they want to bring about." She pauses, just briefly, a side glance tossed towards her son as eyes narrow slightly. "Well, I guess I don't technically have a choice than to get involved in certain aspects of this now. An unfortunate thing for me. Really. Because I was really hoping I could make some new friends! But, I cannot make friends with people who try to hurt me and who hurt Jason."
She sighs softly, pinching the bridge of her nose, before she digs into a bag beside her where she pops a strawberry blow pop into her mouth. "You know, it really sucks when people try to suck the fun out of everything. Which, honestly... I just wanted to enjoy myself. I made quite an impact regardless of how it was done. Regardless of what anyone thinks. Jason chose of his own free will to involve himself. That had nothing to do with me. However, of course, I did capitalize on the opportunity. Just as I would had anyone else chosen to get involved." She shrugs, leaning back against the trunk of the cherry blossom tree. "It's just business and at the end of the day? It says I got the W. Which must have sucked for big bad Drago who just cannot handle someone better than him coming out on top." She licks over her lips, shifting the lollipop to the opposite cheek before speaking again. Her face contorting with a frown as brows knit together slightly. She's quiet, almost contemplating her words before she speaks up again.
"Everyone seems to think they know everything about me. So, let me give you all a real quick rundown. My past is my past. That has absolutely goddamn nothing to do with any of this. I am content where I am. I am content with who I am with. Everyone before him? Non. Freakin'. Existent." She pauses, just briefly, as she closes her eyes to inhale a gentle and calming breath. "My dear, sweet friend, HAVOC... You really do not want to talk to me about relationships. I can promise you that much... and you also shouldn't threaten me because I really don't take kindly to things like that. All you're doing is adding more fuel to the fire for me. So, go ahead... Make my day because I cannot wait to show you all that I have become since you-- Well, Sabertooth-- Last met me. I am not the same girl I was before. I'm stronger, better, and faster. I am not that naive and gullible person I used to be. I know that there is darkness in this world... But, the light always overcomes it in the end. Always. Smothers out the darkness as it fights to rise every time. Just like that, you can't keep me down... because I always get back up and I give it back ten times harder." She holds out her right hand, index and thumb extended into a little finger gun of sorts towards the camera. It's a brief motion, but one followed by gentle mimicking gunshot noises.
There's a moment where she has to force herself to remember her son is mere inches away from her. That his little bare feet are sprawled across her lap, where he has since fallen asleep face first in his coloring book. Half eaten Tagalongs and a trail of crumbs from coloring book to face catches her attention. She doesn't want to wake him, doesn't want to move a single muscle. But, he's not as light as he used to be. He's a growing boy, a mere five years old. She sighs softly, shifting him comfortably on the blanket as she cleans up the mess around him. Using a single wet wipe to wipe his face clean of any crumbs. Even as he stirs in his sleep slightly, it's the late afternoon here in Florida. But, she doesn't dare waken him from his nap. As his legs and feet soon find a position right back in her lap. She shakes her head, focusing once more with a gentle sigh falling from her lips.
"Pyro, it's soooooo good to finally get to properly meet you! I mean, we met last time, but not the way I wanted us to meet. In fact, this time? This time I'll make sure to give you the biggest hug... and then, drop you right on your head." There's a bit of a darker tone to her now, eyes clouding over with a haze. "You really, really don't know when to quit, do you? You made your first mistake last time, by daring to even so much as touch Jason regardless of "wanting to make a statement" or whatever it was you said. But, this time? Your final mistake is mentioning my son. At. All." She pauses, knuckles cracking one by one slowly. "There's lines you don't cross when it comes to me and the biggest one? Mentioning my son in any capacity and expecting not to get a reaction out of me. I am the only mother he will ever have. I am the only person he comes to when he needs a band-aid after he scraped his knee and I am the only parent that will remain permanent until the end of fucking time. Make no mistake about it. There will be no adoptions or foster homes for him. Not in a million goddamn years." She huffs softly, hand resting over her chest momentarily. There's a brief inner battle with that darkness she feels pooling in her very core. But, she forces herself to the here and now. Forces herself to really get back into play. "I understand now. Jealousy is not a good look on you, friend. Maybe the problem is you're so worried about people who are better than you that your anger is clouding your judgement. It would really suck if I have to put you through a table in this match-- Oh, who am I kidding? It would be the BEST~!" She claps her hands together, grinning brightly.
"I'm not going to waste my time blabbing on and on about people who really should be the last of my concerns right now. Instead, I'm focusing on this task at hand. Girl Scout Cookies are my go-to when I need a snack during Girl Scout season. So, who better to be the face on that box of cookies than the Queen of Candyland herself?" She grins, excitement clear on her face as she sighs wistfully. "I can see it now. Savannah Sunshine. Bright, sunshine-y, smiling face front and center for everyone to see. It's the prettiest image, isn't it? Which means I have my work cut out for me here. But, I have never backed down from a challenge before. From here on out, it's go time. I'm not going to be intimidated by anyone around here. Not when I have so much at stake. Not when I'm proving myself every single time I step into that ring." She stands to her feet, carefully picking her son up with a gentle groan. His head resting on her shoulder carefully. "From here on out, you are all going to see the very best Savannah that I can muster from deep down within. No more games. No more letting myself believe that there is light inside of everyone. Life is not sunshine and rainbows and I am so tired of pretending like it is." She shifts, sighing softly. "I am going to win this match no matter what. No matter who I have to go through. No matter what I have to do in the end. That box of cookies will have my face on it and I'll get whatever prize is at the end of it too." She shoots a wink at her phone as she approaches, before cutting the feed off as darkness takes over.
